Ekisho ignored him, if he got any worse she would do something though, she finished up the dishes and began to clean up the counter.
Hyua smiled wider, she next to never blushed anymore.
"One cool thing happened to me." She pointed to her right eye. "I can see!" She wasn't sure if she should tell him about what had happened to get her sight, he used to be very protective of her, that's why everyone respected her.

Kemono gasped, looking at her eye. "Wow! I'm so glad you can see a bit Hyua! I was afraid you might get bullied in the leaf!" He picked up his basket again and took out a pear, handing it to her. "Here, just picked them from father's orchard." Romano stopped calling her name after awhile but still slept.

Hyua took it and bit in to it, smiling after chewing it and closing her eyes at the taste.
"Mmmmm... just as good as I remember." She took another bite, having Kemono around lessened the pain a bit. she swallowed. "I remember when we used to play hide and seek in the orchard..." She smiled. "I remember when I used to pick tons of the pear blossoms for mother, they were my favorites.... Kohona has next to none." She kept her eyes closed, savoring the taste.

Kemono smiled and closed the basket back up. "How about you come for dinner later? Mother is making really good pear pies and a sushi dinner!" He asked, he had picked the pears for his mother to bake.

Hyua opened her eyes.
"Really? Sure!" Then she remembered Romano and looked down, her bangs covering her face as her eyes teared up. "I-If I come late though it's because I was waiting f-for someone..." She mentally kicked herself for crying in public, but she couldn't stop the tears as they dripped down her cheeks, Romano had hurt her bad.

Kemono stopped smiling and looked worried at her, hugging her after dropping the basket. "It's ok...I'll save you a plate if you want..." He tried to comfort her, he'd of course follow her in case she was ditched.

Hyua hugged him back tightly, she didn't want to tell him about Romano yet. She felt safe around Kemono, like she was a child again. Maybe she would tell him.
"Kemono..... have y-you ever had your h-heart broken? L-Like shattered?" She tried to calm down, she was starting to shake lightly now, she needed to calm down. Maybe staying here would be good....

Kemono looked at her confused the nodded. "Yeah...my fiance died a year ago when she was mauled by a bear." He frowned a bit, he had stayed at her side until she died. "Why you ask Hyua?"

Hyua clenched his shirt, closing her eyes tightly.
"A boy I h-had been with..... s-since the academy... I was supposed to m-marry him y-yesterday... h-he pretended." She burst in to more tears. "H-he p-pretended t-t-to love m-me t-the w-whole time.... h-he never re-really did.." She would covulse every few seconds with heartbroken sobs.

Kemono gasped and hugged her tight, holding her close like he would when they were younger. "It's ok Hyua, you don't need him...shh, calm down.." He stroked her hair, feeling sorry for her and wishing he could help. "Hey hey, it's ok Hyua, will you stop crying if I make some tea for you?" He lifted her chin and smiled at her.
Romano opened his eyes a bit at the smell of food and tea, holding his head when he sat up and looked around. "W-what happened...?" It had been out for a hour, it was a couple minutes to seven. He looked at the plate of food and dug in quick.

Hyua nodded slightly and hugged Kemono again, burrying her face in to his chest, trying to calm down. She sniffled a bit and closed her eyes, taking deep breaths.
"Y-Yeah."
Ekisho smiled at Romano.
"I though you'd be hungry so I cooked.... Is it good? I-I haven't cookied in a while but I tried my best."

Kemono smiled and took her hand, leading her down the stone path to his home, opening the sliding door to let her in. "Come on...aw man! I forgot the basket!" he pouted. "I'll be back!" He ran off to go grab it.
Romano kept stuffing his face with the food, nodding. "Y-yeah!" He had a bad virus in his brain, it was hard to detect but it kept messing with his body temperature and his memories, he was also having hillucinations, he smiled at Ekisho. "Y-your really good at cooking!" He finished half of it.

Hyua sniffled a bit and wiped the last reminants of tears away, nodding. She looked at the house, waiting for Kemono to come back.
Ekisho smiled.
"Thank you!" She looked at him and frowned a bit, reaching over and touching Romano's forehead. "Mmm.... your warm, are you feeling okay?" She looked at him enderingly.

Kemono grabbed the basket and ran back quickly, tripping on the stairs, the basket landing in his mother's arms. "I'm ok!" he was always clumsy, he got up and walked over to Hyua, rubbing the back of his hair. "Sorry about that Hyua..."
Romano looked at her and slid the food away, he didn't feel good to eat anymore. "I-I'm ok...I have to go somewhere...I'll be back in a bit ok?" He hugged Ekisho before getting up and walking out, he felt better to walk but didn't feel hungry anymore.

Hyua smiled slightly.
"I-I'll be back.... I-I dont mean to bail out... I-I need to go meet him..." She gave him another quick smiled before walking off towards the shrine.
Ekisho nodded.
"Bye romano!" She got up and started cleaning the rest of the house.
