*She waited patiently for her target. she had all night afterall. she wondered how she would kill him. this vampire had power and most likely his companions or...people who would back him would be out for her blood. a good reason why the shameful dress was necessary.*

Amidst the downpour, a lone figure dressed all in black and huddled underneath a trenchcoat sloshed through the puddle ridden alleyways. A bottle of cheap alcohol in a brown paper bag at his side, he muttered curses underneath his breath, talking to himself. "Just wonderful, the damn rains make fires impossible. Ah, William you idiot, why'd you have to come to this damn place? Wasn't Jersey or Detroit filled with enough damn suckers? Surely I could have enjoyed business there! Ah well, that's me, suffering for my profession."

A splash sounded at his back, like a heavy footfall in the water. Shrugging his shoulders, he grinned widely then brought the bottle up to his lips. Harsh vodka spilled from the corners of his compressed mouth and soaked into the high-necked shirt he wore. Staggering drunkenly, he stumbled to a halt and sat down in the waters up against the dirty side of a building. "Ah, the wonders of booze, yes indeed..."

That was when his head was grabbed and wrenched to the side, exposing his throat. Two extended cainines clamped down hard... only to crack and chip as they meet resistance other than the soft tissue of human flesh, sending the vampire reeling back in pain. A hearty grin on his face, Will reached into the folds of his trenchcoat, bringing out a kukurii, a heavy, curved knife with a unique blade; this particular one was edged in silver, useful for his prey. There was a flash of silver, a brief pause in the blade's movement as it severed muscle, sinew, and bone, and then the vampire fell headless to the alleyway. Standing up, Will felt his blood pumping in excitement at his first kill in this city. "Bloody stupid blood sucker, didn't have to do much to convince him that I was drunk and an easy target."

Smiling up into the rain, his eyes flashed with a fierce joy. "Ah, I think I'm starting to like this place. Watch out New York, Night Hunter's in town."

Volume knew New York held many dark alleyways into which she could duck if need be; however, she was not yet comfortable enough with the current situation to roam about in full form. A golden eye shrouded by a mask rolled over the faces that even at this hour crowded the streets, suspicious of all. She had tightened her security, they all had. Shielding herself against the rain, she walked on with no particular destination in mind. She wanted to get to know these streets. Now was as good a time as any.

-She walked along the street thinking she needed some fresh air.-

*Sakura had been in the city too long for her own good. She sighed for nothing much of had happened and she slowly retreated back to her apartment.*

Jax heard Rein's voice near by and quickly made his way over to where he had heard her.

Jax made his way to her and he stood atop a building in plain view for Rein but behind the men. He landed silently behind them and made his way noiselessly towards them.
