I guess it's my fault for not elaborating, but the temperature of those flames is 6100 degrees Fahrenheit. I don't believe Kyo's ice would stand up for even a half second. It burned Ori's arm off instantly, after all. sweatdrop

Well, onee-chan, perhaps Kyo knows something we don't in regards to science and what not. I'd be willing to bet his science knowledge trumps ours. Just wait and see what he says.

I guess not. But then again, he's certainly capable of just going to the top of the column. I didn't have Yuki cap them off since they're only there to give the Shinigami enough time to use a Senkaimon and escape. Any party could go over the flames, it would just take more time to do that then it would to draw a Senkaimon. Of course, only those inside the flames will see that there is no top. To the Sephira, they'll just see a column of flame and there shouldn't be any reason for them to think otherwise.

Tadashi couldn't have seen Ciel on the roof, as he is currently being carried by Tsukiko there!
