From the start. She acts like a predatory animal despite being every bit human. And shes aware of it. Shes aware that what how she acts isnt normal and aware that her killing and eating people is very much not acceptable. And she enjoys it. And thats another problem...her wanting to kill and eat people. Would make it very hard for her to be part of a group dynamic lol

Why not let this be her growing up, being confronted by these weird feelings, fighting with them, and eventually loosing to them. It would be an interesting story, would it not?

Well you make it before her first kill have her trying to work on fitting in, but always having a dark secret pulling her slowly down, until we reach an point where you can make the slip, and go though with the dark dreams, maybe even have her first kill be her best friend or something
