"Never..."

Yumi Nara

Yumi passed the blur of trees with amazing speed. Yumi was fast; she always was. Her mother always said she learned to run before she learned to walk. Yumi sat down on the swing with her lunch. She reluctantly pulled it out and started eating, thinking about the stupid teenagers. The fact that someone came bundling in while Yumi was trying to get help. Even though it seemed impossible for someone that hurt to get into the middle of the forest and magically find them, it was rude. Yumi knew people couldn't control being injured, but stumbling into the woods? Quite stupid indeed.

Yumi devoured her sushi and rice quickly, for she was far more hungry then she had thought. She sighed and crossed her arms. What should she do? Go shopping, train, socialize, or maybe search for Rina....

Yumi snapepd out of the thought. She needed to train, but she had to enjoy her childhood while she could. Yumi took the pack and walked into the house, leaving her backpack on the counter so her mother could pack another snack. Yumi never went hungry in the house with her mom around. Yumi ran upstairs to her room. She pushed aside the journal and used a kunai to cut the string strap. She spewed water on the paper bomb trap. She then opened up what she had been undoing traps for: her money chest. It was a worth bank. With the three locks and so many traps, not even her mom had been able to get into it. Yumi pulled out a bundle of cash. She wrote in her checkbook that she was withdrawing 100 yen for shopping and socializing. She put her check book down, tied the rest of her money and check book down, re-locked the chest and two outer-chests, put the keys on the table for a moment, and re-set the traps. Yumi then put the cash in her backpocket and buttoned the pocket. She then took the keys and put them around her neck. It was time to experience the other side of being a ninja.

"Never..."

Yumi Nara

Yumi walked into the town, looking side to side. Lots of smells flooded the air. Ramen and candy pierced the plastic smell of rubber balls and toys. Chitter chatter filled the air with sound. Yumi felt herself lost in her own sense, the outside world filling her in. Yumi couldn't tell she was walking or moving, everything flooding her sense. She had never been in town. She'd always trained, socialized in her clan, or gone to school. Uchihas walked in the streets, talking in lines of three of eachother, while Hyugas walked in much longer chains of teenagers. Yumi smiled as children swallowed their ice creams whole, while mothers scolded them as they got brain freezes. She passed the biggest crowd of people and heard rapid footsteps fill the air. Yumi turned around to see, and Rina appeared in front of her. Yumi smiled. "How are you, Rina?"

Rina was wearing a uniform and messenger bag. She looked like the mailman's apprentice. She probably was. Jobs were common for kids who shopped alot. Rina definently did. She looked a little annoyed. "Busy. Here, you got a letter." Rina passed Yumi a letter and left hurriedly. Yumi opened the letter. It was from her teacher. It read, "Well, I just heard that students learn faster if they learn in other villages,"The signature was sloppy. Yumi shrugged and headed home.

"WHAT? NO WAY!" Yumi's mom crossed her arms. There was no changing her opinion. However, Yumi presented Mom the letter, which she read and sighed. After another three hour argument, her mother gave in.Yumi packed all of her stuff. She was going to experience a new side of being a ninja. It wasn't socializing and shopping, but traveling and exploring was important.

"...give up."

Rook 'Riichi' Ryuujin
╔═════════════════════╗
Go ahead
╚═════════════════════╝

Rook watched the entire scene unfold. It was amusing for him, but also he grew inpatient to get on with his training and get stronger. He sat back, his arms folded neatly over each other, his scythe was neatly tucked away on his back. It was hardly noticeable. It was his trusted weapon, something he loved and held dear to him. He was fairly good at hiding in among his clothing, and therefor not many people noticed it. Maybe a Byuakugan user might find in with their eyes, but someone had to have sharp eyes. The young Ryuujin simply stood back and watched as Aya failed epically at her jutsu, and soon got it. She seemed to be a beginner for sure. The boy watched as Logan and Shikarama began to help some other boy who had stumbled into the training ground. They placed him next to the tree, and hopefully got everything patched up. He said he had been mangled by Monkeys, and Rook couldn't help but think he must have found his family. The boy chuckled darkly, which his body was itching for a fight. He was becoming more and more anxious to start a fight, but his usual dark smirk was present, giving him the chilled dark look. He continued to wait on them, thinking of some jutsu he might want to leaarn, something that would interest him, something he would want. But nothing came to mind at the moment. He guessed he would learn as he got on and on with it. He couldn't help but smirk more, thinking he could take on anyone there, and wished they could get on with the training. After Aya had completed her jutsu, her cousin turned to him with glance, and he couldn't help but feel a small shiver of excitement. Maybe now they could get things going. He nodded to Shikarama as he suggested they started. Rook immediatly got to his feet and quickly prepared himself for a fight. Even if they weren't ready, he was. And he was itching for a fight.

"Oh,yes. Let's begin, shall we? Teams? Or a free for all?"

Logan Hyuuga, the Blue Byakugan
((Appearance: He has very large blue Byakugan eyes which appear to lack pupils. He wears a cloak, pants, gloves, a shirt, four scarfs, and a mask. they are all black and made of special materials. These clothes make it so only his eyes can be seen.))
Logan remained watching, as Aya took up the will of training that Yumi had abandoned. She eyed Shikarama's movements, taking in every detail, as Logan himself had. She moved back, gathering her chakra into her shadow, along with her focus. Forming a series of hand seals, she began to direct her shadow. It swiveled and contorted, before rising off the ground, splitting into a series of tendrils. As they raised, the tendrils, to her surprise, turned on her and bound her. She was held to the ground by them. Her hand seals had been broken, and she hummed in frustration, "Hmmmm...", As she dispelled the jutsu, the shadow dispersed. She got up, and began once again. "Who's up for round two?", she said, Forming the jutsu from her shadows once again. The second time appeared the charm, as not the tendril formed from her shadow flew straight out and into the tree. She raised her fist with excitement. Shikarama looked to her, first at her failure, and then, with a smile, at her success. He walked over to her, placing his hand on her back with pride, "Good job. So, shall we try sparring like was suggested earlier." He said as he patted her. Logan, and Shikarama as well, glanced to Rook, now sitting as he had watched the show played out before him. Logan had indeed seen the scythe on his back, while his Byakugan had been active earlier. He seemed to smile and laugh over something, as to what, they knew not. Rook nodded to Shikarama's words, which greatly shifted his attention. He stood up, apparently itching to go, as he asked them. "Oh,yes. Let's begin, shall we? Teams? Or a free for all?", Shikarama crossed his arms as he thought about it, while Logan stepped closer to Aya and Shikarama, listening in for his suggestion. Shikarama then said, "It shall be two on two, I and Logan, vs. You and Aya." He glanced to Aya for her approval, as Logan followed his gaze to her, "Will that be alright with you?" Both Shikarama and Logan would have liked to test their abilities against opponents closer to their level.

Aya Nara

┏━━━━━━━━━┓
Silent Schemer
┗━━━━━━━━━┛

Aya was proud that was had been able to pull that off, she was happy she could at least get that one down, now all she needed to do was pull off one more. She was just an overall happy person. She was still glowing over the fact that she was quite close to finally having all her clan jutsus. She was happy to be getting stronger, maybe it was a good thing that she was getting more and more excited. Motivation and excitement were never a bad thing. Sometimes it was a good thing. The girl watched as Yumi somehow found a way to leave them all, and went off on her own. She was feeling great about herself. But she was feeling a tad bit nervous going into a battle with the three males, as she was much smaller and more fragile than they were. Logan might be smaller than her, but he was strong for his age. Shikarama might be smarter than her, and Rook defiantly gave off the vibe of being violent and strong. She just feared that she might get in the way of powerful attack and find herself in the afterlife. It was a frightening thought, but she didn't let that hinder her good mood. She continued on like nothing was bothering her, as she smiled toward Shikarama. He had suggested they each split up into groups, and fight each other in teams. She nodded, Logan and Shikarama vs Rook and her. They would be damn near evenly matched. The girl looked over at the intimidating male, as he smiled a toothy grin at her. Rook agreed, as she could see he was excited for this fight. Even if he was trying to keep his cool manner on, she could see as clear as day that he wanted to fight, and he wanted to fight badly. Aya nodded to her cousin, while walking over to the side of the clearing, she too was in the mood to hit something. Her new partner followed her as she smiled sweetly at him, as he gave a slightly flirty smile back. She looked at Shikarama and Logan and nodded. She was ready, and she was ready to get this battle going, as she could practically Rook shivering with excitement.

"These pairs are fine. Shall we get this started?" she asked in a sweet tone. Her hair hung to her knees and blew in the wind, while Aya was getting ready, so was Rook.

Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius

As Yumi had left, and Aya finished her test of her shadow techniques. Shikarama, having made the suggestion to spar, glanced to Rook, alongside Logan loked to the sitting rook, whom simply watched in amusement. Unlike Logan, Shiakrama had taken no notice of Rook's scythe. Given it's difficulty to bee seen, it was rather natural. He smiled, and laughed as he looked on at the happenings. He seemed excited now to hear that they would begin the fight. He stood up, clearly prepared to fight. "Oh,yes. Let's begin, shall we? Teams? Or a free for all?", Rook asked. Shikarama ran the possibilities through his mind carefully, crossing his arms. A free for all would be quite chaotic, and it would likely get someone hurt, particularly Aya. She was, after all, the least experienced of them. As for teams, it would be best to make it even. He didn't know what Rook was capable of, but he knew he was pretty strong. So, as Logan moved closer to Aya and him, he decided on the best idea, in this case, was, "It shall be two on two, I and Logan, vs. You and Aya." he realized he was using bad grammar, but it didn't matter too much to him. Shikarama and Logan looked to Aya now, for her approval, "Will that be alright with you?" the pride on Aya's face showed readily as they looked to her. She smiled to Shikarama, nodding. Her gaze shifted to Rook, and he smiled. It was clear he approved. Aya looked to Shikarama again, nodding, and began to walk. She headed to Rook's side of the clearing. "These pairs are fine. Shall we get this started?" She asked sweetly, letting the gentle wind in the air run through her hair. Shikarama nodded, as he began to step back, moving to the other side of the clearing. He turned to face them, his hands moving to his cloak, preparing his strategy on him and in his mind. "Yes, it is perfect." Logan moved in front of him, taking a defensive stance towards Rook and Aya. Shikarama tossed the kunai and shuriken in his hands into the air in front of him and Logan. He quickly formed a seal. "Wind-style: Multi-pronged Trap" A large wall of wind formed, taking a hold of the weapons and it flew forward, propelling all of them towards the two. He did hold back, keeping them from going at lethal velocities.

Rook 'Riichi' Ryuujin
╔═════════════════════╗
Go ahead
╚═════════════════════╝

Rook was excited beyond belief, but it only seemed like he was anxious to get started with the fight and train. He kept his cool and made sure he didn't show anything emotion he wasn't suppose to. The young Nara standing next to him was formulating plans, and was trying to find a way to ether trap them, or distract them. Meanwhile, Rook was thinking of going with the plan of attack and forcing them against a wall, or a hard place. Rook's casual smirk widened, as he was finally able to fight with his favorite weapon again. He shifted his weight to his right foot, and grabbed something off his back that had been tucked away under his jacket. He pulled out handle of the scythe, as the large blade appeared, shining in the light. It was designed strictly so it could be tucked away in small places, and oh did he ever loved his scythe. He heard the young girl give a slight gasp at how sharp and sturdy it seemed. And she was right, it was sharp and sturdy. He looked over to the other two and smiled. He glanced at Aya as she glanced at him. From what he could see, Aya was planning something. He would protect her if need be, and he would also let her do the planning, as he carefully watched her body language for any signs of signals or something. It was the best way, because the two were almost opposites. Rook grabbed the scythe's handle at the mid-way point, and watched as Shikarama made a jutsu and sent many projectiles at them. The Ryuujin smirked more, the heated feeling of battle was boiling in his blood. He licked his lip a bit, before feeling the rush of wind. This wind user was up against a fire user, which was never a good match up. The boy let the sharp object fly past him, as he and his partner did all they could to dodge them. Rook used his scythe to deflect most of them, but he ended up with a cut on his shoulder, while Aya ended up with a cut on her cheek and side. The wounds weren't deep, but hey, they weren't trying to kill each other. Rook and Aya waited till the attack was almost finished, before Rook made his move. He dashed forward, his scythe raised to help deflect, and immediately brought the two into a heated session of taijutsu. He quickly lashed out at them, while trying his best to dodge and block. His partner had also joined in, her slick graceful movement made her harder to hit. Rook swung his scythe at Logan, aiming for his back, While Aya hooked her foot just around Shikarama, and she pushed on the center of his back, in attempts to trip him.

Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius

Rook looked on with excitement, pulling his scythe out as Shikarama's attack came. Aya gasped as she looked to his scythe, in apparent amazement. Rook kept glancing to her. And then the attack had come in. Though rook might not have been aware of it, some of the objects aimed him weren't aimed at them, but at their shadows. Attached to each kunai and shuriken were strings, but more importantly, those aimed at their shadows were chakra metal, channeled with chakra. They, if they tocuhed their shadows, would completely and utterly paralyze them for a short period. ((A post)) Logan, meanwhile, slowly stepped further from Shikarama, getting closer to his opponents. Shikarama formed a handseal, concentrating his chakra in his shadow, and sending it outwards, splitting it among the tiny shadows left by the strings attached to the weapons. These all moved towards Rook and Aya.

Aya Nara

┏━━━━━━━━━┓
Silent Schemer
┗━━━━━━━━━┛

Aya's mind was working overtime, looking for some way to think of a plan. She was wary of their fighting styles, as well as how they could attack. She and her partner somehow had to get rid of the shadows, and render the shadow unusable. Then they could pick them off one by one. Hopefully the young Nara could pull something off. The girl looked down, and noticed their shadows were long, which she was sure Shikarama would take advantage of. She looked at Rook, and looked him up and down. Just from his posture and fighting style, she could see he was indeed a fire user. This could come in handy in many ways. The girl bit her bottom lip slightly, she began to wreck her brain. The first attack Shikarama threw at them, she knew he was going to try and trap them in their shadows, so Aya had to somehow get communicate with Rook and figure out something. She sighed, and watched him. His moved held power, as he kept moving in, like he was more of a taijutsu user. But she knew she had to keep them at mid-range because of Logan. But since the Nara clan was mainly for mid-range, that kept them at the long range, and Aya didn't have any jutsu that would help her with the long range. Maybe Rook did, but she wasn't sure. But she needed him right now, and she also didn't want the other two knowing their signals. But truth be told, they didn't have any signals. This annoyed Aya greatly, but she had to deal with it right now, they had better things to do. Shikarama's attack kept coming, and she needed to get rid of the annoying trap based jutsu, but this also meant she wouldn't be able to use clan justu, but at this moment, it was a sacrifice she had to make. The attack went right for her partner, and in order to get her plan into action, she had to make sure Rook could get it started. A few flying objects went towards Rook, but Aya pushed him out of the way at the last second, and her shadow got caught instead, a few objects cutting into her, but she only flinched a bit. Rook gave her a questioning look, before she yelled at him.

"Fire!"

-------------------------
Immediately Rook caught on to her plan and smirked. He began to preform hand signs and looked at the flying objects at them. He was prepared, and quickly began to center his chakra. Soon, a small flicker could be seen around the ground in which they were fighting, and soon it formed a ring around them. A large ring of fire hung around them, as heat began to rise from the ground, the grass began to dry out and burn at their feet, as Rook simply burned the entire area. He made sure no harm came to his partner, as he smirked. The air became more dense with smoke, making it harder to breath. He heard Aya begin to cough, but disregarded it as the smoke began to liter the area. The smoke made the visibility level slower, as it also made it much harder to breath. But Rook was accustom to these kinds of conditions, as he was from the Flame. But Aya on the other hand, she just kept coughing. She was in the hold of the possession, and couldn't cover her mouth to stop the invasion of smoke. But the effects of that jusu were released when the smoke became dense enough to block out the sun. The burning wood of trees and grass was thick. The fire kept everything warm, as Rook could use the fire to his advantage. And if Shikarama used another wind jutsu, it would magnify his fire. Rook held onto his scythe more, as he quickly began to move through the smoke. He knew where Aya was because of her coughing, it would take a few minutes for her to recover, but it was better if you stayed back and though of more plans. Rook on the other hand, he lifted up his scythe, and aimed for Logan once again. He knew something was up with this quite child, and if they could knock him out, the better. He shifted a bit, and ran the large blade between the two, and quickly lashed out at Logan, forcing him back to the fire ring barrier. The heat kept him warm, as he was getting stronger with all the warmth around them

Jutsus used

Logan had begun to move forward, after Shikarama released his attack. Rook quickly dodged alongside Aya, trying to block the attacks. Aya eventually tackled Rook, saving him, while having her shadow captured. Shikara had sent his shadow after the two. Rook, however, had something prepared. He smiled, preforming a series of hand seals. Suddenly a cirlce of earth around them lit up, covered by flames. Smoke rapidly rose, filling the area. Shikarama moved in, away from the flames behind him. This wasn't good. He didn't have any jutsu that could effectively combat the, and the smoke had canceled out the original shadows he made. He would have to begin the jutsu anew. He was force to cover himself, though, to ease his breathing. Logan wasn't as hindered do to his mask. Logan activated his Perfect Byakugan then, concentrating on the battle. He would deal with this technique. He formed handseals, as Rook came close, Logan released his jutsu. He brought a hand over his mask, Starch Syrup Capture Field He sprayed a large burst of sticky blue liquid at him, blocking his attempt to slash Logan. He would be forced back by the spray, and if it caught him, he would be immobilized. Logan then quickly turned around, He continued to spray the water-based liquid. It flowed out over the fire, as her turned around, spraying it in a rising arc to douse the flames. It also would mean they couldn't just run out of the area, as the syrup blocked them, and would stick to them if they tried to run or walk across it. It also reduced, the smoke in the air, as it began to wane. Logan then quickly took another defensive stance.

Aya Nara

┏━━━━━━━━━┓
Silent Schemer
┗━━━━━━━━━┛

Aya coughed till her lung hurt, the burning and smog filled her lung, making it so hard to breath. She was able to drop to her hands and knees when the smoke covered up the shadows and clutched her throat to stop anymore smoke from invading her small body. She continued to cough, and soon decided to lay on the ground. All the grass had burned away, revealing the hard earth underneath. She was able to get a small relief from the smoke as there was some air near the ground. She closed her eyes as they watered, and tried to breath through her mouth instead of her nose, as it burned from the smoke. She was having a rough time and just hoped Rook had enough sense to take out Logan first. Aya's body burned from the smoke, as she was now blinded, and her sense of smell was no longer useable. She layed there, and tried to open her eyes and see any feet from under the smoke. The smoke was slowly disappearing, as she heard the sounds of fire being killed by water. She sighed, she would get fresh air soon. She saw where they were standing, and wondered if she could somehow get them from where she was. But at the moment, she felt heavy, like a rock was sitting on her. The girl tried to sit up, but her arms and legs gave out on her. Great, here she was, laying on the battle field, dying. She fell backwards, and didn't feel anything after that.

The girl could feel herself floating, like she hovered in the air, but she could feel the wind beating at her back, and she smiled as the pain went away. Her lung felt normal, instead of the burning she had just experienced a few moments ago. It was bliss as she gracefully began to float. She could feel deep inside, she was no longer in the same dimension as the others, but she didn't care a that moment. She was able to breath without any pain, her body was listening to her. She just wanted to drift, but something made her want to get back to the field. What if she really was dying, what if she was going to? What happened if she gave into this blissful feeling? What if she didn't fight back? The feeling began to slowly ease into a sense of comfort, as well as being watched. Her comfort zone was being penetrated as she could not open her eyes and look around to see what was looking at her. The young Nara soon shifted so she could land on something. But as soon as she did, she felt herself slip through the surface of the water, and then the floating feeling was back. In water, it would make it hard for one to breath, but Aya found it oddly easy. She was breathing air in the blue abyss. Something that was completely unusual for anyone. The girl continued to wait for something to happen, before the questions began to cloud her thought once again. Something was about to happen. Aya soon felt something reaching out to her, but once again, she couldn't open her eyes. She was a simple rag doll for them to do whatever they pleased. The girl didn't know what to do, she had no clue what was going on. Put then, as she was lifted up from the water, and soon her body was able to move. She opened her eyes to see she was on top of a hand statue thing, as the hand cupped her in it's palm. She was grateful. She no longer had to feel the pressure of the water. But everything other than her or the statue was black, shadows. She blinked and wondered where she was.

"Where am i?" The girl asked. The shadows shifted once again, and soon she could large figures in the dark. But she could only see one more clearly than the others. A strange looking figure with something that looked much like a bird headgear on, and was looking straight at her. For some odd reason, she felt like they were judging her. But this one specific figure seemed to be guiding her through all this confusion. Aya wondered who this person was, and when she could finally figure out what was going on. A loud, but soft voice began to radiate from the figure with the bird mask, and it was speaking directly at her.

"Finally, after much wait, we get to meet our champion." It said. aya was very confused. She was nothing close to being a champion of anything, much less have anything to do with these figures. "You have been chosen to carry on a great force. We are the Gods that have chosen you, Aya Nara, to be the
Black Alice. We will grant you only a small portion of the Black Alice's power for the meantime. Do not take this lightly. You have been chosen to ether destroy the world's balance, or put it back into place. It's your choice." The voice continued. All the poor Nara could do was nod and keep quiet. " My name is Thoth, the God of knowlege. I will come to your aid in times of need of knowledge. There are other Gods, such as Shu, the God of Stamina. Heru, the God of Swiftness. Amon, the God of strength. Aton, the God of power. Mehen, the God of Courage. We all make up the Black Alice, and it's your job to fullfill our wishes. Do not let us down, young one. This is all you need to know for now. Right now, we shall we by your side, and teach along the way. Now, go. You must survive." In that instant, Aya was forced back to the smoky field. "Shazam..."

With a jump start, Aya's body jerked and became limp once again. Power began to surge through her small frame, her entire body was on fire, but not giving any pain. She could feel her nerves spark alive, almost like a live wire had been cut. Sparks ran through her body, and her entire atire began to change. Her body was visually more stronger, as her whole aura changed, amitting power much like a wire as well. Aya opened her mouth a little, before whispering,
"Shazam..." Instantly, she was up. Just as Logan released the strange stickly liquid, she moved. Because of the power surging through her, her speed was magnified. At a super human speed, she was able to knock Rook to the side, completely avoiding the attack, as she then began to deal with Logan quickly. Just as the liquid was landing in the spot Rook used to be, she looped around, grabbing Logan by the front of his shirt, and threw him into the air. He would sail into the air, and become airborne. Aya smirked and looked up at Logan, several stories in the sky. He would be able to see a large majority of the village. This new power she had recieved was great, she couldn't wait to try it out. She swung her arm around, getting rid of the last of the smoke. Rook was just getting up off the ground when she could see him. He looked at her, slightly wide-eyed. She smirked, so this must be what power felt like. And Thoth said this was only a portion of the power. The girl looked to the side, looking right at her cousin.

Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius

Aya had concentrated as Shikarama's attack came in. She had pushed Rook out of the way of the worst of it, having her shadow caught by one of the kunai. Rook had then produced a fire circle around all of them, trapping them within it. The smoke and flames disabled his shadow hold. Shikarama stepped from the flames, covering his mouth with his sleeve. Rook had moved in, striking at Logan with his scythe. Meanwhile, Aya had been choking on the flames, he looked to her with worry, trying to think of something, when Logan acted. He formed swift handseals, placing a hand over his mask, and fired out a strange blue syrup at Rook, before quickly turning and putting out the flames. Logan then turned around towards his opponents, while Shikarama stayed in the back, gathering his chakra. As the smoke dispersed around the choking Aya, She fell the ground, though she was clearly breathing. Shikarama watched her cautiously. His eyes widened as her body jerked, and her chakra level sky-rocketed. Her clothes and her body had changed as well, along with her chakra signature, to the surprise of both. She whispered, "Shazam..." Her movements were insanely fast as she had gotten up and pushed rook out of the way of the syrup. Her hand grabbed ahold of Logan by the shirt and hurled him surprisingly high into the air. Logan managed to regain composure, but both Logan and Shikarama himself were greatly surprised by this show of strength and speed. With a swing of her arm, the remaining smoke dispersed. Shikarama met her eyes with his own surprised ones. He quickly formed a handseal. From his shadow, many tendrils rose up, and flew swiftly in differnt directions. One flew up to Logan, grabbing him and pulling him carefully back to the ground before releasing him. The others fired at Aya and Rook, moving to wrap around and bind them both. Logan, stepped forward, taking a second defensive stance, ready now for this new threat.

Rook 'Riichi' Ryuujin
╔═════════════════════╗
Go ahead
╚═════════════════════╝

Rook was surpsrised as hell, but probility not as surprised as their opponents. Aya had somehow gain a bunch of power and was beating the crap outta Logan. But he was sure she would use that power on something different, as she didn't want to hurt the two. Rook had been wrenched out of the way, and Logan was thrown in the air. Rook looked up at the flying Hyuuga, and whistled.

"Whoa! He flew!" Rook commented with a chuckle. The boy looked around, and saw Shikarama was making a handsign, and knew he was going to try and do something with their shadows, but Rook wasn't going to give him time. The young Ryuujin quickly gripped onto his scythe, and began to loop around the older Nara. Aya stayed were she was, thinking up a different plan just in case Rook couldn't finish the job. Aya and Rook were trying to work together, but they weren't communicating as well as they should have been. Maybe it was because they were so different, and Rook was so use to make the choices and fomulating plans. Maybe now was a good time to get serious. Rook ran as fast as he could, and kept his eye on Shikarama. He smirked as he raised his scythe, ready to strike down. His scythe gleemed in the sun light, and it cut the air easily. The boy aimed for the Nara's shoulder, he could do some serious damage if it connected. Rook managed to look over his shoulder a slip second before his attack on Shikarama, and noticed Aya had been trapped in his Shadow Sewing technique, and one of the dark tendrils had stabbed her in the shoulder, making her bleed badly, as the wound was fairly deep. It didn't seemed to effect Aya much, for this od power seemed to be keeping her away from most fatal harm. Rook wondered what would happen after the fight and she had lost too much blood. But he would worry about that later, right now, he had to focus on taking out these two, so that he could get Aya to get medical treatment.

As the fight went on, Logan releaseing his jutsu, to stop Rook and put out the fire, Aya, had fainted for a few moment, having seemingly choked on the smoke around them. The next moment, however, she had recovered, her chakra rising to implausible levels, at her speaking the word, "Shazam...". What had happened. His Perfected Byakugan eyes had scanned all that occured. Her chakra he repressed itself temporarily, moving inwards, becoming unstable. Her signature seemed to shift to that of multiple ones, as if several different chakra flowed through her. As She got up with those words, not only had her chakra grown stronger and shifted, but her clothing, and her appearance had changed as well. Her body was visibly stronger. She suddenly moved at him at speed far beyond what she should be able to, pushing Rook out of the way of his attack. The next moment she had reached him while he was still shocked by the event. She grabbed his shirt and tossed him high into the air. He shifted quickly, righting himself as he looked down the two before beginning to fall. Whatever power she had now displayed, he would have to prepare for it. It was Clear Shikarama was just as surprised by Aya's transformation. Aya dispersed the remaining smoke around them, allowing Shikaram to breathe easier. He had taken this chance to both go on the offense and help Logan. Forming hanseals, Shikarama used his shadow sewing technique. He raised a large swarm of tendrils. One flew out to Logan, gripping him and pulling him down safely. The others flew out at Rook and Aya, lacking in the force of their movement, apparently intending not to do any physical harm. Rook, meanwhile, had been amazed by Logan's ascent, saying, "Whoa! He flew!", laughing out loud. As Logan landed, Rook had moved in on Shikarama, slashing down on him with his scythe. Meanwhile, Shikarama's tendrils accidentally injured Aya when she panicked, accidentally running into them, despite their lack of force. Shikarama didn't have much time to think, as he dispelled his jutsu, and ducked, dodge rolling out of the way. Out from behind Shikarama Logan had taken a stance and turned quickly while Rook was at the end of his swing. Logan directed two quick strikes to chakra points in the arm holding his scythe. Aya Nara

┏━━━━━━━━━┓
Silent Schemer
┗━━━━━━━━━┛

Aya had been plotting more, thinking of ways to both trap and immobilize them both. But she knew better. She had to focus more on Logan, for he was the more dangerous foe. He could kill them if he wanted to, but she was positive he wasn't like that. He was sure that Logan wouldn't so much as put them in any danger. The girl began to think of something they could use against him, like a weapon. But the only weapons that had on them was the usual ninja tools, and Rook's scythe. But nether of them would do it. She looked at Logan, as he was watching them just as carefully. Shikarama had used his Shadows sewing to try and bound them both together, but luckily Rook was able to avoid the attack. Aya wondered what was the extent of this new power she held, maybe it could save her from pain. The girl wanted to try it, so she shifted herself to the side, and took one of the tendrils to the shoulder, piecing into it. She didn't flinch, for it felt a bit odd, but it didn't hurt. It gave an odd sensation, feeling much like a needle was going through her. She shrugged, before Shikarama let go of the jutsu. The shadows fell to the ground, resuming their original position. Aya looked around the clearing, she was wondering where she could find a place to talk and create a plan with Rook. they could hide within all the forest area, and plan together. Aya nodded to herself, before seeing Logan was getting ready to take down her partner already. She sighed, this would be the third time she would have to save him from attacks. She shook any remaining shadows off, and raced to go save her partner. When she was close enough, she grabbed onto the back of Rook's cloak, before wrenching him away. She dashed into a bush, and moved through the trees and bushes, rustling as much as she could to throw off their trail. Rook did the same, before letting Aya pick a spot. From there, the two could see what Logan and Shikarama where doing, and make a plan.(x2)
