I took it out at work..just haven't put one back in to let it rest. it looked like I had pink eye, literally. I'll replace it soon enough before work. I'm glad to be able to help you out some. means alot that you even trust me with that kind of stuff.

I really don't see how you can do this. If I don't get enough sleep, I can barely function. I'd fall asleep doing anything. xp
It is something that has been bothering me for some time. I have many friends who do not even understand why I still see him and why he is still my prom date. They just don't understand and sometimes I fear neither do I.

Hope. that's the reason I see. the hope that he'll work up the courage to give you that first kiss, that he'll come out of his shell and prove to be the person you want to be with. and just like Nailah, you don't want to hurt him. so you stay there, hoping things will get better. but after six months, I'd say that it might be best to look around, see thos that might really desire your company, the ones that aren't going to shy away from things like the soft kisses a boyfriend should be able and willing to give you.
again I speak form my own experience. there was a girl in my homeroom that had a big crush on me. but by the time she worked up the nerve to tell me, she had to move after a short time. she was so nervous about my reaction, about what might happen..that what might have been a great thing slipped to the wayside. but it was for the best, I think. if I had more time with her, other things that happened may not have.
Sometimes, the best thing is to let them go. but that's not my choice, it's yours. and I know you don't like that kind of thing, and that you hold on to that hope. but I'd say if after prom, he hasn't even kissed you..I'd begin to question things.

I guess I already have. There is another who is more than willing to be with me. I kept putting him off to give Scott a chance to come out of his shell. So far that hasn't happened. I think I will wait until prom and then if nothing has happened, tell him the honest truth. The relationship isn't going anywhere. It's stopping us both from moving on and it would be better to just end it. I know someone will bring him out, I just don't think that person is me. I don't want to hurt him but then I htought that maybe he doesn't want to hurt me either. Maybe he feels the same way but wants to be chivalrous and let me decide I've had enough so he can agree and 'spare' my feelings.

But I'd say you have the right idea. and I wish you the best of luck..I really do. and I'll always be here for you no matter what for anything I can give you..advice, a friendly ear...a shoulder to cry on if you ever need.
