While sleeping she had an awful dream:
Maxine slowly woke up and realized something was missing. She walked down the stairs seeing Shadow on the ground his head almost completely severed. She gasps and her knees hit the ground next to him. She sighed and began to sob.
Maxine woke crying. She curled in her bed and kept sobbing.

Aurora put the book back thinking what should she do to make shadow her dad happy until the day comes.. she could not think so she put her music on and started to sing to it hoping that no one was really around to hear

Maxine got up slowly and cleaned her face. She then decided she needed a shower. She took a quick one and then put on a blue skort and a black blouse. As she walked down the stairs to the kitchen she tried to hide the emotions running through her. She got out a bottle of blood and took a swig of it and then sat down on the floor and began to sob again.

Aurora got up from her seat as she started to get hungry and began to walk to the kitchen herself as she was singing.. when she got there she seen maxine sitting on the floor "maxine...?.... are ..you okie?" she asked as she walked to get a cup a blood

By navigating from the markings he had been shown, Carlos found his way to the kitchen, which inside made him almost gleeful that he actually was able to use them. It took him a moment to snap out of his own glee and notice there was another person in the kitchen, one he hadn't met yet. Negative emotions were eminating from her, so his nose would tell him even through the cologne and wet dog fragrence. It wasn't unusual for someone else to be here he guessed to himself, since he was the newcomer of the crowd. He hardly even notice Aurora passing by him to find out if there was something wrong with the person, and probably attempt to comfort her. Since he knew when to not indrude, without making much of a sound, he headed over to find something to eat.

aurora turned smelling wet dog "knight? .. hay knight would you like somthing to eat " she said looking for somthing for him to eat

Carlos bolted up straight, hearing the name Knight called out.
'Uh oh.' He thought to himself, sniffing the air to remind him of his own smell. 'Wait... I know what to say.'
Turning from the fridge that he was apparently beginning to search through, he faced towards Aurora, ensuring a steady pose. "That your... dog's name?" He asked, forcing the third word through his mouth.

Maxine to another swig of the blood from the bottle and sighed, "I had a dream. A dream not to be forgotten. Shadow was dead. His head almost completely dismembered."
She wiped the tears but they just kept coming. She couldn't control it.

Carlos turned to look towards Maxine curiously. A third person forseeing death? How could this be coincidence?! However, he couldn't just keep ignoring negative feelings eminating. He decided to abandon his quest for food to move over to the table and sit opposite Maxine. He didn't know her, but he knew he'd rather help.
"I hope you won't worry over it too badly, friend. I'm sure there are many people here who will protect Shadow, and everyone else living here. Nobodies alone, even if they feel they are. Try not to worry over it, everything will work out fine, even if something happens." He said calmingly, trying to reassure her.

aurora stop and turned to knight "Holy crap..d...did he just talk!!!" she though to herself but then she droped her cup ..."d...dead..... " she looked at knight too much was happening at one time... Aurora run out of the kitchen going to the dinning room breathing heavly "no.... not again.... people.... dead from my last dream.. and dad was one of them....... im not going to let it happen... i make sure dad never dies... but .. i i take his place... i makre sure" she said sitting down putting her hands over her head

Carlos sighed, exasperated. He clearly wasn't Knight, his wolf form, but somehow Aurora was thinking he was, and had run off with the same waves as the girl infront of him. Fear and despair was rank in the house, almost as if he had brought it in with him for the two days he had currently stopped. He looked towards Maxine, hoping her moved had improved somewhat so he could chase after Aurora to try and calm her.

Maxine stood slowly, her mind wandering and running. Her mood was dark and depressing. She went to the garden in which Shadow and her began courting ignoring any presence near her. She didn't like this. She didnt like it one bit.
She shook her head and sat down on the bench they had both sat on a few nights ago. She then thought, 'could aurora have had a similiar dream? if so, could this mean something?'

"come on aurora let just have a good time with dad and everyone.. there no good just sitting here crying about it" she said to herself laying back on the chair looking up "so... what can i do?..... my birthday is in two month and i can plan stuff out... i think.." she said putting her arm over her eyes

Carlos studied her as she passed him, not fazed by her complete ignorance to him, but sympathetic for what she was going through. He wouldn't be able to understand the vastness of it all, that he knew, but he could tell how much it hurt purely from the negativity of the atmosphere. Something was at work here. Something unnatural, and at the same time, daunting. Someone had to act before whatever was beginning to set the pieces of their plan in motion had the chance, but what good could a newcomer do?
Either way, for now, he had more pressing matters at hand. Aurora, Shadow and the woman were all having dreams, seemingly recurrent, of disasters happening. All of them was suggesting that Shadow would inevitably suffer. But who, or what would cause it? It was time to get as much information as he could. He may be new, but he had experience at leading a pack, and therefore investigating threats to his friends and allies. He would start by chasing Aurora and calming her, if that was anyway to begin in the first place. He got himself up from the chair, sniffed at the air and begun to follow her scent.

When Maxine finishedth ebottle of blood she stood up and took a deep breath. She closed her eyes and tried to relax but when closing her eyes all she saw was Shadow's body. She winced at the pain of it. She tried to shake it off then decided to go see if Aurora was alright.
