"Maara? She is doing better..." Trina said, eyes thoughtful. "No, that woman hasn't come back. The man I took to the hospital disappeared though, the healers were frantic. Nothing I can do about that though...just keeping her safe, keeping her happy." Trina smiled, taking another sip of water. "Thanks again for helping me on that...." She nodded.

"It's no trouble," Arlen said, swallowing some milk. "The peopl here are my family now." Arlen said, and then paused and added, "Well... most of them at least."

Lily pulled out of her thoughts suddenly, blinking. She looked around, slightly confused, then shook herself. Looking down to her plate, the teen realized that at some point, she'd finished her meal, and looked between Arlen and Trina, trying to decipher what it was they were talking about.

Trina smiled at Lily, who seemed to be sleepy. "Sleepy Lily?" She asked, taking a sip of water. She was tired herself, but for very different reasons.

Arlen set his own empty plate down and kissed Lily's cheek. "Delicious as always, honey."

"Yeah... sleepy. That must me it." Lily agreed with a smile, then looked to Arlen, kissing his temple as she stood. "Glad you thought so... I think I'm going to head up to bed once I do the dishes, okay?"

Trina stood up quickly. "No, I'll do dishes Lily. That I can do." She gathered them up, seemingly proud to be able to be useful for once. "Least I can do."

"I'll probably be up soon," Arlen said, standing to clear his dishes at least.

"Okay... thank you both." Lily murmured, smiling. "Goodnight. Love you Arlen." Then she headed up, yawning a bit. She managed to make it to their room, but before she could reach the bed, she needed to lay down. And so it was that she ended up curled into a ball on the floor, sleeping soundly.

"Night Lily!" Trina happily carried the rest in, setting them in the sink. She didn't touch the knobs to turn it on, the tap just started by itself. She was smiling. "I'll take care of it Arlen." She said.

"Are you sure?" Arlen asked, setting the dishes into the sink carefully, a bit cautious of the self starting tap. "I'd be glad to help."

Ukaia came back downstairs. She and jake had finished the room. And she'd tucked him into the nice fresh bed. since he'd fallen asleep. She streched a bit an sighed

"Sure I am. I never get to help out around here...I'm horrible at it. But dishes I can do." She gave smile, pouring dish soap. "And if you won't let me, I'll grudge you..." She laughed, starting the dishes.

"Alright," Arlen said, stepping out of the way. "I'll leave you to your work," he added before stepping back out to the bar. "Hey Ukaia," he greeted the catgirl as he walked over to the couch.
