So if my guy materialized a spirit it IS against the rules because, whtehr or not its a part of hima nd relies on his own mind to move, it still technically has a mind of its own as well, which dictates movements based on what my character's mind allows.
Eg. A spirit is materialize dthat has the shape of a golem(Just 'cause we're using golems). Said goelm can only exist and move if my guy, who is rendered immobile by materializing it, allows it to with his own mind. But because the spirit itself too has a mind, it is illegal.
At least that's what I think and why I won't be using it.

KeNsHiNo5o R4wr, Hey Omi. Is that what Clash meant? Hmm, I guess it makes sense, although I can see people saying that the things they make aren't living, breathing creature-things, even if they are... Being sentinent is also lumped with that. In a few, I'll make two sample posts, a good, and a bad. XD

Good Example Malin thrusted his palms together, and slowly, the arcane elements appeared to course through his flesh. Soon, stone began to fester upon the ground; some of the nearby arena walling even flicking off to join this odd creation. And, before long, in a quick flash of white light - a golem of stone was erected. "Alright, this match is over!" Mailin began moving his hands around, as though guiding this stone being; and, the golem followed in response, partially guided by his hands, and by his mind. Getting ready to smash his opponent. vrs..Bad Example Malin thrusted his palms together, and slowly, the arcane elements appeared to course through his flesh. Soon, stone began to fester upon the ground; some of the nearby arena walling even flicking off to join this odd creation. And, before long, in a quick flash of white light - a golem of stone was erected. "Master." The golem spoke, turning slowly with the creaking of stones to the mage known as Malin. "It is time, this match ends. Let us attack as one!" See the issue there? Another example, involving spirits. Good Example Kenchi grimaced; this battle was turning rather bitter. But, his arms began to shake violently - as his teeth gnashed together. His entire body seemed to be coursing with an odd "energy", revitalizing his meager, exhausted system.. and perhaps, empowering him? " Drawing on the power of your soul, Gin - my opponent will be CRUSHED!" The swordsman thought with a growl etching from his lips, as he slowly got to his feet. Obviously, a "soul" is a sentinent "being", but because in this case, it's technically a -part- of the fighter, it breaks no rules. Where as, in a much worse situation.. Bad Example Kenchi grimaced; this battle was turning rather bitter. But, his arms began to shake violently - as his teeth gnashed together. His entire body seemed to be coursing with an odd "energy", revitalizing his meager, exhausted system.. and perhaps, empowering him? Then, he bellowed out what appeared to be, a spirit. Undefined, but still, hovering over Kenchi's opponent. The spirit then whispered through the air, "Is this your opponent? Here, let me help you kill him." The issue there's obvious as well. Even if a spirit inside the character's body were to take control of him/empower him, that's not against the rules - as again, it's "part" of him, and would be the same as someone transforming & assuming an alternate ego. Hope that helps a tad. =P

/me nods.
Makes sense. I guess it's just sort of hard to explain without giving examples...Sort of.
Rah, so as long as my spirit stays inside, I should be fine from the DQ hand of Clash...
Er, Clash is the Dairy Queen!

Six hours until I win my match by default... Greck. I really can't get over this, can I? I guess it's not really so bad. Not getting a chance to fight, is better than getting killed, isn't it?
Maybe I just can't really place them in heirarchy. Both wins provide different advantages. One is risk-free, but also fame-free. The other is vice versa. Whatever.

Yanoe, I think that Clash said he allows 5 days for the first post...
Have you PMed them, yet? Anyways, Clash said he goes and PMs people who don't respond, too, giving them longer to respond...
I think the 3 day rule applies to later down the line, when some battles have ended already.

The three day rule only comes into effect after both participants have posted in the thread. Also the two players can change the time limit if they both mutually agree.

Oh, I know all of these things, though I appreciate the help. I actually just think the guy is a ghost. Several searches haven't yielded this guys actual existence, and he hasn't posted even though it's been two and a half days. and I was a day or two late anyways.

Certain "summons" and the like that have their own mind are allowed as long as they are directed by your character in the least. Things like clones, puppets, small demons and the like would likely be allowed because they are considered tools for your character rather than seperate people.
I've asked Clash about this before since one of my characters uses puppets. My main puppet does have a soul of it's own, but since my character uses it to battle with, it counts as a tool.

It depends. But, a "clone"/"puppet" could be considered alright, though small demons, totally depends on the context. A "small demon" could still be horrifically powerful in it's own rights, and be sentinet. =P
