Aya Nara

┏━━━━━━━━━┓
Silent Schemer
┗━━━━━━━━━┛

The young Nara looked over her shoulder towards the younger Hyuuga, and smiled weakly. She felt her cousin squeeze, so she returned it. She forced herself to put on a brave smile, but it came out more weak and fake. She nodded to him.

"Are you okay, too, Logan?" She asked, her voice shook a little bit. She avoided looking at the gore all over the ground, and tried to ignore the smell of fresh blood in the air. But the pressure of death still lingered in the air. She looked back to Shikarama as he said they should go get something to eat, and rest. If anything, these two deserved it the most. The only thing she did was serve as a distraction, nothing else. She looked over to the village, and saw herself standing not too far off. She blinked, before rubbing her eyes, to make sure she was really seeing this. Maybe she lost more chakra than she thought. The exact replica of her began to talk to them, saying it was good that they didn't die. And something about the chuunin exams? Aya wasn't sure if she was ready for it yet. The other Aya looked at her and smile, tipped her head and walked off. Before Aya could do anything about it, she lost sight of the person who stole her identity. This could mean bad things in the future, but that wasn't her main concern at this very moment. She sighed, and looked back to the two boys in front of her.

"N-Now someone just stole my identity..." She whispered quietly. Her eyes, which were normally warm and filled with life, seemed more scared and frightened. "Y-Yeah. Let's go..." She said before letting them lead her to wherever they wanted to go.

"Just turn your tears to roses."

It turned out that Loki didn't have the ability to raise the dead like he claimed. That gift was from another relative that the God of Mischeif had. So he had brothers!? and if so were they as evil and merciless as Loki or much worse. "Brothers? Are they aligned with chaos as well? Tell us!." The Phoenix asked. He needed to know if this "Chaos" was planning on bringing backup to this world, or was it just simply, defeat the big boss and all was well again. Reiko delayed the horrific death he planned on inflicting in order to get his answer. But Loki's now didn't even have the strength to speak another sentence. Too much blood being lost, and no backup at the moment; he was going to die alone and join the ones that he killed. The Phoenix was silent for a few seconds before the eyes of Reiko returned to their original crimson color, and his tone was back to normal. Part of him wanted the God of Mischeif eliminated phoenix-style, but maybe it was because he had already became powerless that Reiko released his tk hold on the god. He was already finished. That didn't mean he dropped his guard. If Loki tried to do what he did to Lilith, he would find himself erased before he would make contact with Reiko. The only question that remained after everything was over was...what next?

".....Now what?"

"!"

Was it another trick Loki was planning? Did he fake his death momentarily to get in another cheap shot? Reiko's free hand grabbed the trident now pointing at the throat of Loki as he saw his eyes glow with a emerald green tint. The Phoenix jumped back when he saw the emerald projectile being launched from his mouth. It wasn't exactly clear what Loki was up to; his body was now white as light from the heavens. But when the light was seen as the top of the village, there was an overload of fear inside of Reiko. "Everything's... disappearing!" he warned them. The entire village was being wiped off the map; as if Hidden Time wasn't already annihilated! They had to get out of there fast or else it was going to be game over for them. But as the speed everything was blinking out, Reiko was afraid he wouldn't be able to make it out alive. Unless he tapped into the full powers of the Phoenix. If Reiko could do that, then there was a chance he could transport them out of here. But that wasn't going to be necessary.

Because someone...something else did it for them.

The ryuugan eye instantly activated when he saw this....astronomical being before them. Was this Chaos? The one behind all of this? As for the power level Reiko received when he began to scan the being...hell the thing was limitless! In Reiko's time in his old planet...never has he faced such a being with so much power. Not even the demons that took over their planet...all of them combined didn't even belong in the same category of power as this being. The word "strong" was an understatement.

He was even stronger...even stronger than the Phoenix Force!

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

But luckily it was on their side, so it wasn't Chaos after all. It explained that their actions have earned the respect and as a result, their bodies would be given to them as a reward. And instantly, Reiko was not the five feet girl anymore that the group may have gotten used to. Instead he was transported back to his old body again. Thank...goodness. The switch as mentioned was so quick Reiko didn't notice till moments later when he found himself taller and more bulky. With Reiko back to normal once more that meant that the vessel he was in began to fall face first. That was until he quickly grabbed the back of the girl's shirt, catching her just in time. So now he had the girl and the trident of the god of mischeif.

"Thank you."

The Phoenix wanted to ask it questions, such as the identity of chaos, did loki have backup on the way, but more importantly, who it was. But it said that it couldn't ask questions. It told the group that it did enough by stepping in this event and as a result, the "tables are off balance?". What did it mean by the tables being off balance? Were they supposed to die here? And just as quick as the transformation back to their old bodies occurred, so did the transportation of the group to Hidden Leaf.

He wasn't sure about the rest of the group but Reiko arrived at the entrance of Hidden Leaf, where he was...speechless about everything that just happened. He looked down to see the girl coming back to reality as her eyes squinted. Reiko told the girl to run along and she did so without hesitation. Now that the kid was safe, the same question rose again....now what?

"We did it..." he would have told whoever was by him, and if not, he would have just sad it aloud before finding the nearest tree or wall and slump himself back down. With everything that just happened, it overrid his excitement of being back in his own body again, including the exhaustion. "We should get you to a doctor Lilith." he would have advised, once again if she was with him.

“ Son of ah-” Mashira's eyes snapped open to such a strange sight before her eyes. She was now standing in the buzzing village of Hidden Leaf, being surrounded by Reiko, Lilith, and annoying towns people. She couldn't explain how they got here however a part of her did not even want to question it. As she turned her head back towards her two companions she couldn't help but to notice they where in their original bodies. With wide eyes she quickly lifted her arms up in front of her. ' No more fur,..' She thought while a grin slowly spread across her face. She then quickly turned her head to the left side and saw a lack of tail. Least to say the child couldn't have been happier at this point. “ Where back to our normal self's! No more s**t being stuck in my fur!” She said while throwing her left arm in to the air. It was a bit strange being back in to a human flash state as she was starting to get use to having fur. Now everything just seemed colder then normal and even the slight winds in Hidden Leaf made the hair on her arms stick up.

As she turned towards her team mates she couldn't help but to grin when seeing that both of them had returned to their normal bodies. It was a shame that Reiko had turned back in to his manly self as she was looking toward to having a kid her age with her power. ' Ah well, more freakish looks for me' She thought with a shrug of her shoulders. She then turned towards Lilith, seeing that the now proper demon queen was alive, but injured. The demon woman certainly over did herself in the battle compared to herself but in some way it made more sense. Chaos was always fun however when in the end it was always just fun and games compared to true destruction. After all, compared to Loki's children he was almost nothing but a laughing riot. he had his bag of tricks and was given tales of bravery and some quest of horror however his offspring made him look weak. ' It was a good thing we didn't face them. Might have abandon these guys for my lord.' She thought while glancing down at the pendent she wore which was a medal shape of Fenrir.

“ I'll heal her,” Mashira finally said after a few seconds of watching the two. “ I haven't used medical jutsu in years but show me your wounds and I'll guarantee that no scar will be left. unless you want to go for that bamph look?” She asked while walking over towards Lillith with the same childish grin on her face. “ Can't blame ya want them.” She simply said before glancing over towards Reiko who was slumped over at the nearest tree. He didn't seem to have any injuries but she could have been wrong. It was hard to tell at there was some interesting smells within the village of Hidden Leaf. Some where very familour to her nose however most of the smells where annoying and smelled of children who where being in some kind of teen age lust made. Least to say her nose was wishing their slaughter.

There Lilith laid, her Akatsuki hood covering her face from anyone around her. Lilith''s eyes slowly opened and what she saw was something that she couldn't explain. A blue sky, and sunlight, peace and tranquility. Where was she? The last thing she remembered was the fight with Loki. He summoned a giant cloud to cover the village, and force it to rain the amber looking substance that almost caused her demise. She lifted her hand to her forehead and closed her eyes once more. She replayed all of the events that just took place. She could remember Loki impaling his horns in to her, piercing right through her. She reached her uninjured arm over to feel the wound. She winced when she touched the large open wound that blood was still slowly spilling from. The rest was a bit hazy. She remembered placing her hand around Loki's throat and squeezing. But after that she couldn't make out the rest of what was happened there. All she knew was Loki was dead, they were successful.

Lilith slowly sat up and opened her eyes. She knew where she was, it was Hidden Leaf Village. This was weird, it was just like how she ended up in Hidden Blood after leaving the village, and now she was in Hidden Leaf. She slowly rose to her feet a bit woozy from the blood loss, and the strange teleportation. She took a step forward before collapsing down to her knees, her uninjured arm helping hold her up. His stab did more damage than she thought. She was too careless against a god. She shouldn't have placed him as beaten until he was no longer breathing. But then something beautiful fell from the concealment of her robes hood. Her black hair was back. It appeared defeating Loki did return her back to her original state. While she was admiring having her raven black hair back, she heard to familiar voices. It was Mashira and Reiko. She lifted her head to see the two Shinobi's that helped her greatly in the battle against chaos. Reiko was back in his form, no longer a tiny girl. She was sure he was as pleased to be back to normal as she was. She didn't speak up when he mentioned a doctor. He was probably right. She could prevent any further bleeding, but it wouldn't fix the gaping hole in her chest, or relieve the pain she was feeling. She just stared at Reiko as he seemed to be a little spent leaning over against a tree. Then she looked over to Mashira, who was back to her young girl form. How fortunate for Lilith, Mashira had medical jutsu skills. She didn't like taking help from others, but since they all just battled together getting healed by her wouldn't be out of the question.

Lilith pulled back her hood revealing her face. She didn't quite know it yet, but chaos had one last little trick for her. The other two were changed back in to their original forms and appearance, she had hers altered. She looked older now, her face resembling someone who was in their mid twenties opposed to her last form who looked like a girl that was no older then twelve. She was slightly taller now, but only by a couple of inches. Her black hair now pin straight, instead of before when it was slightly wavy. And her body shape matched the age her face showed, looking more like an adult. But for those who looked at her, the initail thing they would notice was her skin tone and eyes. Though her eye color didn't change, around her eyes was a dark black shadow that appeared to be splashed on to her eyes in no apparent pattern. Also the whites of her eyes were gone, replaced with a shiny dark black color. Then there was her skin, it was a light ashy grey color. She Mashira and Reiko would be able to notice, but she hasn't seen any of these differences yet since she was more focused on getting her wounds mended. She removed her robe and lowered her shirt down, slightly past the wound that Loki gave her. That's when she noticed her odd skin color, and the wound. The blood that was coming from the wound was a dark black, and around the wound her skin looked like it was a stone that had been cracked. That's when she held her hand out to look at it. Her skin color was different. Was she not returned to her normal form entirely? This was just great, now she was stuck in this form. She wasn't sure how it looked, she just hoped it wasn't hideous. She looked up to see Mashira and Reiko's face to see how they reacted. It would help her to gauge her new appearance.

She just stared at them for a moment before snapping out of her trance. Her trance was snapped by the pain coming from her wound. This needed to be taken care of. "Mashira, if you could do me the favor and close this up I would appreciate it." The sooner she could get the wound patched up the sooner she could get back on her feet and moving again. Besides she needed to find a way to see her appearance, and see if there was any other changes she didn't know about.....

Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius

Shikarama could see that Logan had been tired by all of this as well. As he shut off his Byakugan, the Hyuuga's chakra faded down. He had stepped towards them both as they spoke, silent, hands at his sides. Aya looked to him, smiling weakly with a nod. "Are you okay, too, Logan?" She asked with a shaky voice. Logan lightly nodded in response, "I am fine. It was by sheer fortune that we survived. Had the Anbu not shown up, given his resistance to our attacks, and what he was about to do, we had no chance of winning, ourselves." Aya brought her gaze back to Shikarama. Shikarama then turned his gaze for a moment to Karaoke, whom he hadn't seen since the academy. She had picked up her, hat with a sigh upon her seemingly faceless face. She turned to him and Aya, her eyes seeming to scan them over, particularly Aya. Shikarama's own eyes grew wide then, as before them Her form changed, shifted into that of Aya's. Aya herself looked that way just after it happened, surprised as well, rubbing her eyes. It wasn't even a transformation jutsu, but an actual change. She closed her eyes, walking towards and past them all. Shikarama was about to ask how she did that, when she spoke instead. "Good to know that you didn't die back there.. cause I have a feeling that I want to fight most of you in the exams..But its good to see that a lot of you will be a challenge. I thought there wasn't a good fight left in this world." He looked down at the mention of the exams, the ones he hadn't quite been up to the task to complete. His eyes glanced to the blue-eyed Logan, whom had passed it despite the odds. He shook his head, forcing these thoughts out. He looked to Karaoke in her Aya form, as she smiled to Aya, tilting her head, and walking from them. Her hand ran through the brim of her hair, and with a smile she licked her lips. "Good luck.. I doubt that next time we meet we will be compadres. However opponents trying to gain the next rank..of ninja hood...." Aya sighed, looking back to Shikarama and Logan. It was quite an answer that she gave. "N-Now someone just stole my identity..." Shikarama placed his hand from hers to her shoulder, noticing the fear in her expression. "It's going to be Alright, Aya. I know whom that really is. I know her chakra as well. If anything bad comes of it, I will help you deal with it." He turned and began to lead the both of them away from the damage. It was best to find somewhere to eat first. Holding Aya's shoulder, he lead her towards a grill restaurant. He could hear Logan following behind them.

Logan Hyuuga, the Blue Byakugan
((Appearance: He has very large blue Byakugan eyes which appear to lack pupils. He wears a cloak, pants, gloves, a shirt, four scarfs, and a mask. they are all black and made of special materials. These clothes make it so only his eyes can be seen.))
Logan looked between Aya, Shikarama, and Karaoke. As Karaoke looked to Aya, she copied her appearance, her form shifting visibly, not through a transformation jutsu, but some other means, but noticeably transforming. She looked back to them as she walked past. She said to them all, "Good to know that you didn't die back there.. cause I have a feeling that I want to fight most of you in the exams..But its good to see that a lot of you will be a challenge. I thought there wasn't a good fight left in this world." Her hand running through her hair, Karaoke smiled to her "Good luck.. I doubt that next time we meet we will be compadres. However opponents trying to gain the next rank..of ninja hood...." Aya then looked to Logan, smiling weakly. As he came in close to them, she asked him, "Are you okay, too, Logan?" Logan nodded to her gently. "I am fine. It was by sheer fortune that we survived. Had the Anbu not shown up, given his resistance to our attacks, and what he was about to do, we had no chance of winning, ourselves." Aya then turned her gaze to Karaoke, following her as she spoke and walked to and from them. She turned back to Shikarama and Logan, appearing nervous and frightened. She told them with a shaky voice, "N-Now someone just stole my identity..." Shikarama attempted to comfort her, "It's going to be Alright, Aya. I know whom that really is. I know her chakra as well. If anything bad comes of it, I will help you deal with it." She moved to follow Shikarama as he place a hand on her shoulder, "Y-Yeah. Let's go..." Logan moved to follow them, seeing a grill restaurant up ahead.

“ Healing is always fun. ” Mashira said with a grin on her face, actually being excited about doing medical work again. It had been so long she helped people, or tortured them with the use of medical jutsu. Being a kage had taken that fun privilege away from her as she was forced to handle paper work instead of handling bodies. It was a true annoyance to have ones passion taken away from them because of another dying. As she turned back to face Lilith her eyes suddenly grew wide with fascination. it was not from the wounds she saw as blood did not effect her anymore, but of the other girls appearance now. She looked different then before, in a way that she could not describe. There was still a humanoid appearance of the woman however something was a bit off. She almost appeared as if she was carved from stone, and then it was slowly destroyed over the years, having cracks appear. Her eyes held a reddish color in them, much like hers but in a more adult manner and her lips where as blue as a person who stood in ice. ' Like our own weeping angel,' She thought while tilting her head to the right side a bit.

The girl couldn't only blink a few times as the others new appearance sinked in her head, wanting to remember the new look of Lilith for later reference. Once she realized that she had been staring for too long the girl ended up walking over to the now gray skinned woman. She brought up both of her hands and placed them over the larger wound which was on the girls chest. It was strange that the wound wasn't fatal and the woman should have considered her self lucky to still be alive. ' Must be some demon healing power,' She thought before she forced her chakra in to her own hands. Both of her hands started to glow a light green color, waving around her finger tips and palms. She then forced that chakra in to the other woman's body, and watched with mild amusement as the wound was slowly starting to close. watching the skin layers slowly pile on each other was an interesting sight, but not as grand as seeing it reattach it's self to the flesh. It took her over five minuets before the wound was completely healed, causing her to take a step backwards, and started at the woman's body, wanting to make sure that there was nothing else needed to be done.

As she looked the girl started to circle her, wanting to intake everything. Once she did a full circle around the woman she ended up standing behind her. She then placed her hands on the female's shoulders and started to push down on a few pressure points, and using her fingers to massage around. “A few of your muscles are torn and bruised. If you don't massage them at least once in awhile then they will grow part and it will be a very annoying exspirence to get them out. Might as well help ya now before your 60 and wings are falling to the ******** ground.” She said while she pressed a few more points, not caring if the womans clothing was in the way. She figured it didn't matter as long as she didn't have armor around her body.

At least for Lilith, Mashira seemed excited to heal her. It was obvious as she approached Lilith with a big smile on her face because she was so excited. Lilith, who was kneeling down on the ground Stared at the girl as she moved closer and closer. She needed to gauge her response about her new look. And when Mashira's eyes grew wide, it was obvious she caught a glimpse of it. She wasn't sure what to make of Mashira's response; it appears she would just have to see her own appearance for herself to tell what she looked like. She just didn't want to look human anymore. She would almost prefer the angel look then looking like she used to. Before she looked young, like a twelve year old human girl. She would be much happier looking ugly to others, but in her eyes beautiful.

Mashira approached her and placed her hands over the wound. It was weird, she hasn't ever had someone help her with her injuries like this before. If she was ever injured in the past she would just let it heal naturally, or try and tend to the wounds the best she could herself. But this was a different injury. She was impaled during a battle against a god. It was so bad in pierced straight through her, leaving her unable to move her arm do to the location of the wound. So in this circumstance, she needed help. Though where the wound was wasn't fatal, if it healed incorrectly and she lost the ability to move her arm, well, she wouldn't be a good ninja with only one hand. She needed to be strong, stay strong, and get stronger if she was going to help make Akatsuki a great organization once again.

Lilith watched the process as Mashira began to heal the wound. It was strange to see. The girl was using her chakra to create a jutsu. But instead of expelling her chakra in an aggressive manner, she used it to heal wounds. It may sound strange, but it was something that Lilith has never seen before. Using a jutsu to heal and help out a stranger. Where she was from, most didn't use their chakra to help someone. Unless there was an ulterior motives of course. As she watched Mashira work her magic, she could feel the pain slowly leave her body. The cracks on her skin around the injury were slowly sealing, creating a smooth surface. The black blood that was flowing out of her was slowly coming to a stop, no longer leaking anymore blood. Whatever it was she was doing, it was working. She was skilled, it was healing so fast, and almost completely pain free. The large wound was now nothing more than a small pinhole until it was finally closed all the way. Lilith rolled her shoulder and attempted to move her arm but she could still feel some pain, though she didn't understand why. But of course Mashira knew why. She explained to her about her muscles and tendons. Lilith just nodded her head in agreement, as Mashira took care of that little problem. Lilith appreciated Mashira's attempts to heal her and help her out. She had to admit that she was more skilled then she could have imagined. Once Mashira was finished she pulled her shirt and cloak up, putting it back to normal and gave Mashira a quick smile.

"Thank you, you helped me more then you know." She slowly rose to her feet and stretched her arm out, testing its range of motion. It seemed to be one hundred percent. Her eyes locked with Mashira's for a moment as she just stared at her awkwardly for a few seconds before breaking the glance. She took a step away from her before putting the hood of her cloak up to cover her face. She bent over and picked up a sword, Jono's sword to be exact. She was happy she didn't lose it, he said he would be coming back for it eventually. She would have to keep it safe until then. She turned on her heel to face Mashira, the only part of her face that was revealed was the blue lips of hers. She cracked a half smile as she sheathed the sword and put it on her waist. "We all made a good team. I'm just glad we defeated Loki."

She had spent way to much time..fighting evil and not learning what she needed. She sat down for a moment reviewing her notes of the current situation that she was in.. or at least what she thought based on the small bit of investigation she had done. Chaos had came into the villages by using giant space crabs. however.. They had not seem to come from Drago. He looked like a vessel of Chaos.. to cause problems. Chaos was therefore not over. She wondered if the rest of the villages had plunged into this same problem. She let out a small sigh. As she finished walking through the house reviewing the notes. She couldn't udnerstand what was happening and why leaf had found him to be of any importance. It was probably due to past. Not her problem. Whats he needed to do was get stronger..and go home. She needed to report.. but it didn't matter. They hadn't sent for her.

"Eh I guess I need to get ready for the exams.."

She moaned. She had to learn to control the wind that she had chosen for her element. she simply sat at a tree and placed some targets. She knew that she couldn't control the wind..but she was a guide for it. However guiding the wind took extreme practice and know how. She even understood that siome wind attacks.. you couldn't even control. But that didn't matter. At least right now. She simply pointed towards the target and started to throw wind daggers at the trees. Each dagger would pierce the target not leaving an obvious dagger.. but it left a wound on the tree. The bark would break. The bark would crackle. The tree would split. She was developing a sense of style and flair with the attacks. She kept throwing the daggers faster and faster. Until she could do it with her eyes shut.

"I think I need to go to the federation.. Go to Hidden Wind. They can help me become even more in sync with the wind...It just feels strange depending on nature and not my fist... I don't understand how people use these ninjutsus.. when wall you need are your fist. But if it will make me better.."

she said to herself. she looked around to make sure nobody was around. Nobody was around. She left to go to the small place she was staying to gather her things. It was time for her to move on. She would go to Wind.. and develop her style even more..that way.. she could dominate the competition without even a thought. The wind was her way.. and she would mkae sure that she understood it completely.(X2)

Aya Nara

┏━━━━━━━━━┓
Silent Schemer
┗━━━━━━━━━┛

Aya looked up at Shikarama as he told her he knew who that woman was. She wasn't completely set to ease, but it was something she needed to heard. After what just happened, she was more quiet, and let her cousin guide her. She felt his hand on her shoulder, and walked with them. She heard Logan trailing after them, and didn't question it. she didn't mind the extra company. Aya put on a brave face and smiled, seemingly feeling better. If she was going to hang out with these two, she was going to have fun with it. She tried her best to stay away from horrible events like this, but she just couldn't keep the last bit of fear out of her system. Aya followed to a grill restaurant. She smiled to Shikarama, then to Logan. They were seated, and she looked out the window. Sure enough, there was damages everywhere. It would take months to recover form this, it could take years. This saddened the younger Nara, as she simply turned to the two of them. They had ordered, and the waitress brought the food. She watched the food grill and cook, and simply thought about things. She noticed this was out of her character, so she looked up at Shikarama.

"So I heard the Chunnin Exams are coming up soon. Thinking of entering again? Deep down, she knew he must feel bad for not getting it his first time, but she was confident that he could make it.

"Just turn your tears to roses."

It was still miserable, and the back streets where nearly completely empty. The cloaked figure knows that there are safety in numbers, and that a loner is caught or killed first. He was no ordinary loner, but if his identity was revealed before the completion of his plan.. Well then all of Leaf would be out to kill him, and there is only so much one person can do alone and out numbered. Making his way to the more populated streets the cloaked man merges and blends with the crowd. Due to the steady rainfall most the villagers where in cloaks, so this only allowed him to blend in better among the unknowing villages. The man walks and moves through the crowd towards the Hokage Building, though he moves with the crowds he is always going towards that massive building.

That is when he saw her! The woman dressed differently from everyone else, to a point it was obvious to him. Yet, others were unaware of her presence at all. Those exotic tattoos, and the wolf-like mask are a few things that drew her out to him, but perhaps his eye was better trained to spot such things. Then his eyes fell on her indigo globes, and this sent a chill down his spine. It was almost as if he was staring down the perfect hunter, a great and powerful wolf that left nothing of its prey but a passing memory. The man felt a tingle down his back as he pressed on, knowing he wasn't her prey though her skills would be to his advantage. Unlike most of his clan, the male felt he embodied the ideals of the White Heron far greater than other, so what would the power of a wolf be to him.

Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius

Shikarama looked back to Aya, smiling with reassurance. He held his hand to her shoulder as he lead her into the resturant. He was glad that Aya was smiling again, after checking back on Logan trailing them. She smiled to them both as they reached it. He sat down, seeing Aya sit down near the window, and Logan sit down last. He could see the sadness forming again on the face of Aya, as she looked out of the destruction and death in various places throughout the village. It was a sad sight to behold, yet, the fact that the resturant was still going about it's work was proof enough that all was not lost. He gave Aya a silent smile of reassurance. The waitress came by for them to order. "We'll all have some green tea, three sets of pork rips, chicken legs, and chops." The waitress smiled to them and nodded. She brought the food in later and set it to cook in front of them, their tea before them. Logan seemed fairly introvertic. meanwhile Aya watched the food cook, quite unlike her. Then she looked up to him and ask him, "So I heard the Chunnin Exams are coming up soon. Thinking of entering again?" Shikarama took a sudden breathe before smiling to her for show and nodding. "Of course. I will take it, and I will pass it. I will prove that I am worthy of the title." He said as he gave her a thumbs up. He then asked her. "What about you? I am sure you've managed to develop your skills enough to give it a try." Their food was nearly done. Plates were brought to them and passed around by the waitress.

The rain was still falling, slowly but surely churning the dirt road into a muddy morass. Each step seemed to take a little more effort as the mud sucked at her feet. She didn't use any variant on the Water Walking skill, the use of chakra could well alert others to her presence before she was ready. No, better to endure the nuisance until the opportunity was at hand. Looking up to the sky, she couldn't see the stars. Not from the approaching dawn, but from the thick rainclouds blocking them from sight. A pity. A properly moonlit night would make things more enjoyable. No matter.

She continued to slip through the crowds, as noticeable as a wisp of smoke. This was as it should be, her presence undetectable for the nonce. A moment later, she came to a stop, letting her stealth lapse for a moment. Maintaining it wasn't a huge drain, but it was still a drain. By now, she had already made her way pretty deep into Hidden Leaf. The guards were largely posted at three main areas. One, the most obvious, was the village's borders. She'd already gotten pretty far past those, none of them could see her now, not from their normal vantage points. A pretty big lapse that was just begging to be abused. The other two locations were just as obvious. The local Council Meeting Hall, which was also home to the village's vaults, where the wealth and treasure was stored, and the Hokage's dwelling. She wasn't necessarily going to go to either of those, so there was little chance of a guard seeing her, outside of pure chance. So she didn't worry about a few moments spent uncloaked, who could see her?

She just had to think that, didn't she. As she had rounded a corner, she felt someone's attention on her, as obvious as a physical sensation. Turning, her gaze fixed on someone, someone who had spotted her. Her gaze narrowed as she realized she'd been spotted, even before having a chance to really cut loose and have some fun. But why hadn't they sounded the alarm? Oh, she could see now. Even in the rain, her vision was at least good enough to pick out the symbol on their hitai-ate, they were from Hidden Moon, not from Hidden Leaf. So, did that mean they were an intruder as well? Nonetheless, could she really just let someone who had seen her go?

She couldn't slip into the shadows without remaining spotted, this stranger had managed to find the weakness in her unique methoid of stealth. Once spotted, it was exceedingly difficult to hide again. True for other methods, but even more so for her own. All the more reason to find out if this stranger was an enemy. She certainly couldn't just ask if he was, nor could she attack in the open like this. The heavy rain might mask some of her activities, but an actual overt act of hostility was almost impossible to ignore. All the same, she needed to find out. She stalked forward, not bothering to try to circle around him, now that she'd been spotted. At the same time, however, a kunai slipped into her hand, though there was no clear indicator of where it had come from. Just like her. Now that she had drawn a weapon, how would he react? That was worth finding out.

Aya and Shikarama looked to one another. Their closeness was clearer then even family. He acted to comfort her. It was a strangely alien thing for Logan to see. Family for him, was much more distant. Most of his family wasn't nearly as receptive. He had been allowed to learn the secrets of the Hyuuga clan, as a member, with a Byakugan as strong as anyone else's. He was technically of the main branch. Yet it was this branch that he felt a deep separation with in particular. Even now though, it felt like he was the one trailing along after Aya and Shikarama. Through everything, however, with the damage to the hidden leaf, all of them would have to work together. Aya smiled to Shikarama, and Shikarama, after glancing to Logan, he smiled back at her, trying to comfort her the best he could. They entered the restaurant, and Aya sat down near the window, Shikarama sitting next to her. Logan sat down across from them, near the edge. Shikarama ordered for them all, as the waitress showed up. "We'll all have some green tea, three sets of pork rips, chicken legs, and chops." The waitress placed the food on their table's grill and then set the tea in front of each of them. The food began to cook, and the scent of roasting meat filled the air, mixing with that of their tea. Aya just watched the food for a moment, surprisingly timid. Then she looked up to them, trying the break this spell. She asked Shikarama about the Chunin exams, that were coming up again soon. "So I heard the Chunnin Exams are coming up soon. Thinking of entering again?" Logan had gotten through them, achieving chunin, if barely. Shikarama, despite his clear attributes and talent, hadn't quite made it. Shikarama took a quick breathe before answering, "Of course. I will take it, and I will pass it. I will prove that I am worthy of the title." He said, with a reassuring confidence. Shikarama asked her, "What about you? I am sure you've managed to develop your skills enough to give it a try." Plates were then brought out to the three, as the food was almost prepared. Logan had yet to touch his tea, meanwhile.

If it wasn't the heavy cloud cover, then surely the light pollution would be the cause of being unable to see the stars in the night sky. It was a shame, seeing as being from Hidden Moon, the cloaked figure loved the bright moon lit nights opposed to the cloudy, rainy ones. As for the muddy streets, the cloaked man's heavy boots didn't sink an inch into them since he was trying to not leave a trace of his existence in the village. He was easily unnoticed due to being able to blend in. If it hadn't been so rainy then his cloak wouldn't fool anyone, so it was secretly a blessing to him. He knew the patrol routes, for the most part, and knew that as long as he kept from the walls then his chances of being spotted before his designated target were slim. It seemed that the village had gotten sloppy in its defense, so long as you got past the walls and avoiding the Kage building and the council's meeting hall, as the streets were largely not patrolled. Unfortunately for him, the man had to go to at least one of them, if not both to find what he was looking for.

His gaze still locked onto the this woman as he carefully walks towards her. He didn't need to call attention to himself and seeing as she had no visible hitai-ate or other markings to determine her village of origin and service. Clearly she wasn't from Hidden Leaf as she didn't raise an alarm seeing the cloaked Moon ninja. Could it be she was a power rouge hunter, who used her deadly skills as that of a mercenary. Was she the Hidden Leaf's secret assassin? It would seem that none on the streets seems to even pay her mind, as if she was a ghost only haunting Katsurou's mind. Even as the seemingly peerless predator draws a kunai and moved cautiously towards him with it in hand. Of course the male didn't reach for the long blade on his back, doing so would give him away as well as give the message that he wished to fight. Instead the male calmly walked up to her and took the blade of that kunai quickly with his left hand, which is covered in a clawed gauntlet made of a black metal. The male leans in close so that his lips are inches from her ear, a dangerous act towards a woman that has drawn a weapon on him already. "I am not your opponent, unless your an assassin for this village. If not then I have a mission to see through and can't risk you alarming a guard before I finish it." The whispered statement was ended by him squeezing his clawed gauntlet so that one of the bladed 'fingers' tapped the woman's hand.
