Seph shook her head slightly "Yeah she's definitely getting a bit too attached to me so maybe wherever we go next there might be somewhere safe to keep her a while so we can go about her business. Will have to get used to periods of separation again don't ya think?" she contemplated expecting Itaka's opinion. "But relax, the door is fine as she didn't hit it that hard. So lets just relax and have a meal and you can show me where you like to hang out and stuff afterwards. Gotta be some cool hidden places around here."

Hebal scratched her head in thought a moment "Come to think of it, I'm sure you could give his brother your regards himself. I mean if your both in the clan I am sure theres a file on everyone who is a member. Could have a dig around right" she told Jeckhart.

Alpha chuckled shaking his head "Don't think its that easy, would have more luck accessing the entire database of registered demons. At least people know where that's located. The clan I bet would have much tighter security than that. Keep your eyes peeled for the kids by the way. Hopefully they are still near the wheel."

Amane giggled seeing Zadina bouncing "I guess you sometimes get a little homesick being away all the time? I know I am not ready to go home to my forest just yet. Though when was the last time you saw your uncle at the dragon festival?"

Runide blinked allowing her eyes to readjust to the sunlight "It is hot and sweaty here anyway yes but its cooler in the evening when most the visitors are about. Plus we also have to travel up north to the really cold areas. It's real funny because when we went up north there were these viera with white fur. They seemed completely baffled by the entire show like they had never seen a demon before."

Oassu groaned "That's an experience I'd rather forget, was lucky back then to get back down alive" he muttered rubbing his head at the memory before glancing at Corella "You should meet our friend Mari, she's good at taming cute creatures like she's got a little fairy pet from the big flower patch in the forest." he said.

Enkidu grunted in disgust at the humiliating costume "Well despite what Enkidu thinks I think it's quite cute, if he's not careful I'll get him one of those outfits" he said petting Miyu.

Itaka nodded "Sure if you like though I don't really come to this place much, you've basically seen my private getaway already" he said "Though yeah would think she'd be used to you being away when she gets left on the airship" he muttered "Though there will probably be stables at the restaurant though I doubt anyone could really steal Chobi if they tried" he chuckled imagining Chobi dumping thieves off her back in the sky.

Jeckhart shrugged "We are pretty sizable and some of us are on very secret operations there's no guarantee I'd be able to find him without good reason" he said "Though I wouldn't know his name and if he is a higher rank than me I probably wouldn't get his information" he said.

Zadina scratched his chin "Perhaps...20....to 50 years...it's hard to remember really" he frowned in thought "Though white furred viera sound really pretty I've never heard of any like that before" he said intrigued.

Corella mumbled a small "ooh" hearing the mention of a fairy "Oh the sprites? I like those little people and the flowers they live in are so pretty but theres only been a few occasions when I have seen them. They are pretty mischievous but its them that make the giant flowers glow at night so bright you can see them from the palace windows"

"She's right actually. I should really show you that. Or since its the dragon festival maybe we should head over there and see the flowers for ourselves. They would make a great view of the fireworks and a soft seat as well" Felina suggested to Oassu only just aware it wasn't something he had the chance to see on his last visit.

Nares sighed listening for a moment to the warnings of Nal telling them to veer off in another direction briefly for a fiend being nearby "Well I must admit there is nothing that can compare that I have seen so far. Might want to keep quiet about her having one of those though, some people would get pissed if they knew you tampered with the sprites. But sure if your friend is in the area and I am also, she's more than welcome to give me a shout"

Yuki grinned glad her dogs dress sense was getting such praise "Oh yes well I am sure I can find a spare one. I made a few for Aelo but she didn't want them and if they don't fit then I am sure I can get a few friends who would size him up for you" she offered.

"She tried to give one to Ikota here but she couldn't get any small enough for him in such short notice.... thank god" Yuudai quietly added to Satoshi under his breath.

Satoshi on the other hand smirked mischievously "Well next time you will have more than enough time to get Ikota fitted and he'll be fully grown too so will only need to make the one dragon suit for him" she told her mum to wind her brother up. "So long as your cooking for the festival is as good as always, you make all the costumes you want. Gil I know fish isn't your favourite food at all but you should at least try mums, I think it might convert you a little"

Hebal scratched her head "Isnt that pretty much like a basic skill for demons in this world anyway since most just like to blend into society. Silly Aethys trying to be a moogle when a normal viera would be way easier. Though I must say that in hindsight, I don't think I have ever seen a demon take an unattractive looking alternative form" she pondered suddenly.

Alpha shrugged "Well yeah, if you could have any influence over your appearance you would want to make yourself look as presentable as you could right? Only the strongest of demons can have that much control on their appearance though" he answered staring at the wheel a good few minutes "Nope they clearly aren't here not on the ride or the queue so lets move on" he frowned.

Seph shook her head gripping her tail "It's nothing really, some stupid overexcited spectator just ran across my tail and wasn't a light weight fellow" she explained "But hey Im not against chocobos being tied up outside of places, I am just saying a stable is a nice surprise of an addition. Lack of one isn't a deal breaker. One day we'll probably be camping with her so definitely no stable"

"That's still a long time to be away even if it was really only 5 years. A lot of people get home sick after being away for only a month or so... but in viera years your looking at about 15 years if comparing to humans so its gotta be more like half that for you elves... I think. Maths isn't my strongest. I think you live 10 times longer than viera" Amane recalled.

Runide paused stopping briefly to scratch her ear "Well... viera as a whole are seen as attractive to every other species anyway. The male ones Im not sure about but definitely the females, who are more willing to travel about and talk to others. But isn't that your mum over there?"

Oassu nodded happy he could relax with Felina later "Well Sophia is a young little thing but she seems to get along ok with everyone now, hopefully Mari's taught her some nice behaviour instead of whatever horrible education tonberries get normally" he said wondering why tonberries were so angry.

Gil shook his head politely "I'm sure anything you cook will be fine" he said waving a hand dismissively "But if you have an alternative I certainly won't turn it down" he said happy to know there was an alternative "Still normally I don't really celebrate the festival, normally I'm travelling or fighting and I don't really have anyone cept for Enkidu to celebrate with" he shrugged.

Jeckhart nodded "Well some demons join us from childhood and so we train them in basic magic like that so they can blend in easier" he explained "Besides some struggle with it like Aethys" he added quietly.

Itaka nodded "Sure just in case we don't get in we might need to settle for tying them up though I hear you can buy special portable chocobo shelters for camping if you have them" he said steering Annabelle towards the other edge of town.

Zadina frowned "Surprised you know stuff like that, would think you'd be too young to be interested in girls and boys" he teased the kitten "Still lets not talk about that, it's not nice to remind an elf how old they are" he giggled following Runide's finger to spy Hebal and the others "Yes that's Miss Hebal and the others, they must've finished saying goodbye to Miss Mu." he said

Nares raised her eyebrow slightly "Well that's... interesting. Training tonberries to play nice is one thing but you cant change thousands of years of their nature which unfortunately is that of a fiend who is very easily offended and holds grudges. I have once but Dysocu straight up ordered me to get rid of it which meant weeks of finding wild ones to introduce it to"

"Sophia has been pretty good so far actually. Don't think she has even seen a knife near her to even know what to do with it which is a good thing though I will admit some of our group still aren't comfortable being near her. Mari does a good job" Felina explained.

Hayate grunted batting away a nearby insect that had been irritating him while it flew around his head "Even Dysocu has to draw the line somewhere in terms or what pet fiends people can have. Its a good thing he doesn't know that Sophia has been in the palace"

Ikara eventually nodded back before letting out a sigh and reporting back to Satoshi. "He says to tell you that it sounds dull and you should make more effort to celebrate in future so if your still around next year to come earlier and you can both catch the festival dinner. Must have done something right for the early invitation."

"Why of course. Ikara truth be told feels a little bad that he cant understand a word you are saying which to him means he has to try three times as hard to get to know you better. Might be a slight exaggeration but that's basically it" Yuki pointed out to them.

Seph laughed "well eventually they will just tire themselves out. Just be thankful she hasn't got massively close to Hebal or else we would be surrounded by explosions of energy everywhere we look. None of us would get some sleep" she joked trying not to laugh at the stable boys outfit "Well nice to see the restaurant is in full festival spirits. Heh if the staff are in costume too then I bet some of them will be feeling silly inside" she whispered.

Alpha scratched his head "Makes sense for them to wait though my kids decided on humans and elves pretty quickly so made it easy for me being able to be human myself. Leave it too long though and it gets harder to learn to do" he added wondering if Jeckhart chose to take a human form at some point in the past.

Hebal sighed happily releasing Amane from the hug "I am sure the view is lovely from up top... well theres so much desert there will be miles and miles of landscape to look at. I could probably jump up to get a good idea but no need. I can see plenty on the airship. Now... how about you young ladies? Did you enjoy the wheel too?" she asked Amane and Ruinde.

Runide shrugged "Well its ok but I have been on it lots of times so the wheel itself isn't that interesting to me but the view is nice I guess meow" she sighed more aware of the fact that her friends would be leaving soon.

Amane on the other hand nodded "Oh yes its really lovely at the top of the wheel. I bet its even more spectacular when the circus is in a location more colourful than this place though. But if you have come to get us... does that mean that its time for us to go to Yithra now?"

Gil nodded somewhat more nervous at the thought of eating fish that was highly poisonous "Well I'm sure it'll be tasty enough" he said thinking he'd stick to the Yakitori during the meal "Though it's nice to know I'll get the luxury of a meal cooked by a professionally trained chef" he chuckled "Not often I get to try that in my line of work" he said.

Oassu nodded "I think Mari would sooner destroy the palace gardens than leave Sophia alone, in fact that would probably be worse leaving a little tonberry to get scared and violent" he sighed "Though surely there's some pets that are acceptable for you to have that can go indoors like a cat or dog or moomba or something" he said surprised that she wasn't allowed any kind of indoor pet.

Itaka nodded "It's a family place so probably will have those costumes on, probably got a traditional menu as well to go with" he said dismounting Annabelle before talking to the stableboy about holding their pets. "Right time to leave Chobi for now, best give them the greens now to distract them while we sneak off for a meal" he said handing Annabelle's reins to the stableboy while she looked in curiously at a few other mounts including several chocobos and a few horses in the stables.

Zadina hopped on the spot still excited "Ooh I wonder what Uncle Ellie has got me" he said barely preventing himself from doing a little dance "I just hope I don't get dragged into any royal proceedings when we return, though it might not be so bad to act like a lord for once I suppose especially when my brother is away" he paused to wonder
