Impact: If the possibilities are put up for you to view that means you have to add your own response time to the machine's sensor speed instead of one or the other. That's all I mean.

KeNsHiNo5o: Yeah, its fine by me. You diudn't say your equip move was uninterruptible or anything though you did technically perform 3 moves in one turn. A reaction, an action and then another action, unless the draining of heat is simultaneous to the eqiup move, of course.

WHEN IS THIS DAY!?

Of course, but the sensors aren't just a flash still of what's happening, they are right here right now opperation at the speed of light, it's the processing which will take only a fraction of a second for any competent futuristic AI and by the time the human brain registers what's happening the chooses are already narrowed down.

It's a rather interesting set up.

September 19th!

There's a website, too. http://www.talklikeapirate.com/

I did 3 actions, yes, but they all happen roughly at the same time. My machine attempts to run in equiliberium, if he's overflowing with energy, he uses fire, if he's using a lot, he's using ice or cooling techniques. As the magnetics are working, he's gathering energy for them. If he wanted to, he could use his reserve batteries, but it's better to save them for when they're needed. Yah.

"It's a rather interesting set up."

Nihil: Thanks.

I think I'm going to win both my matches by default, too. But I'm not gonna say anything this time. If they come late before Round 2, I don't care.

@Kenshino: Wow, that's pretty neat. I considered using something like a machine, but I decided that my overall strategy for this thing would be to keep everything really simple. Afterall, the less there is for players to scrutinize, the harder it is to deal a really strong attack.

In a fight a fraction of a second can make a lot of difference.

Of course if you're also assuming that your AI is infallible and can predict each movement w/o fail then you're going too far. Should be some room for error at least when encountering techniques never seen before. But now I'm in the hypothetical and this conversation doesn't really have anything to do with his post anymore. lol

Ken, I use the same set up for all of my tech based characters.

It's just a sad fact that I'll never get to use Gammnon, mmm 50 cal gauss machine gun, power armour, shoulder mounted 40mm grenade launcher and an sophiscated sensor package.

It's only a shame that I couldn't add a system like the Doms for his feet.

Yeah, I don't think I'd mind later on... But for an easy win in the first round, I'd love the opportunity for
a) Some practice, so I can derust myself from the lack of fights I've had recently.
And b) To make a name for myself, and generate some excitement around my character. Y'know, pack in a few spectators.

A fraction of a second was a little too large for computation speeds, but I mean really really fast, and it's not infallable what it would do is start off with a wide selection of what the person would do, as the person moves that slection is narrowed down. The process becomes further narrowed down the longer the person keeps doing one thing.

It's three entities in one. It's mechanical-organic, organic, and has a soul-thing whisping around. The organic and soul-thing haven't exactly come into full-play yet.

"Of course if you're also assuming that your AI is infallible and can predict each movement w/o fail then you're going too far. Should be some room for error at least when encountering techniques never seen before."

Chaos: It's not all relying on a machine. There's an organic thing that can think for itself in the mix. Yup. It takes in whatever is analyzed and can make decisions based on it. It's like have an extra pair of eyes all over one's body which give information based on where it thinks things are going.

" But now I'm in the hypothetical and this conversation doesn't really have anything to do with his post anymore."

Chaos: Hah. Yeah, but it's gotten OOC active again. Hurrah!

Some guy showed up in my first match and said that the spectators were randomly imploding with screams of agony for no apparent reason.

She had no chance..(Cursed emoticons..>_> I can't do a crying text fave without it turning into an emoticon..)

XDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!

Wow.

/me nods.

After a point, there's still a bunch of things someone could do, so you really just have to think of what looks/sounds logical. My character didn't know Arian may have a gun on him, but he knew that Arian would be coming from that side. Knowing this, he hops, so if he is hit in his side, the blow isn't felt as much as he's already going along with it. Instead, a gun was pull out, so he revised his strategy accordingly.
