I actually think that outfit is quite nice. It's got a fiery flair to it, methinks. Looks like she'll start jumping up and down, dancing in circles with a caravan troupe, and then cast some spells later for amazement, in a world where magicians are rare, and feared by some, but adored by most. 3nodding

One thing I really miss about the kimonos is the obi. The back-bow has been gone ever since avatar system 2.0 For example: Right after avatar system 2.0 came out Before They definitely need to fix that...

Hey yeah... I never noticed that. Maybe I'm thinking I'm missing something, and I'm subconciously thinking about the obi. XD

*ponder* We could make it a sort of deathmatch jumble. *laugh* Everyone (picks a specific font color and then...) plays two characters a piece and roleplays a fight of some sort, and we vote at the end for which one we liked the most. I'll provide edits as the prize, just like for the Harry Potter guessing game thread.
Or we could just do a Battle Royale sort of thing, only medieval, using Gaia's map as the game map. (I have this horrible urge to name it "Battle Royale with Cheese.") Either the survivor wins the prize or the best roleplay (again, everyone votes) wins the prize regardless of whether they lived or died.
Or we could just set up a "just for kicks" roleplay with no real aim and no voting/prizes.

Yeah, something like that would work, Meri. But... Where's the cheese come from? Is it squeeze cheese in a can? X3

You can set up a mmo-style role play, where there's a common goal, to make it to a certain place or collect a certain item. That way people can role play entirely by themselves or interact with other characters if they want to.
If you want to give out a prize, you can just give it out to the person who made the most entertaining story with their role play.

"Royale with cheese" is something from the movie, "Pulp Fiction." X3 When I think of the word "medieval," the 13th century fights with flashbacks from that movie due to a certain scene. *heh*
I think we'd better set it up so that the winner is just the person who has the most votes when it's all over. If we set it up so that the survivor wins, we might end up with a few fights over whether a person should have survived a situation or not. XD

Miriam The Bat: Ooh, I like that better. Interaction completely optional. *ponders what the Common Goal would be*

I can see it now:
"*stabs you in the back*"
"*dodges*"
"You can't dodge that! I stabbed you!"
"Yes I can"
"No you can't! *stabs you again!*"
"*dodges* *counter-strikes* *cuts your head off*"
"Hey! You can't do that! GODMODER!"
"Dead guys can't talk!"

Well as long as the RPers are halfway intelligent, like the RPers I know, then we shouldn't have any fights at all. I mean, heck, I purposely have my character get fatally wounded sometimes, for the love of creating story. XD

Ah, but in Battle Royale, the object is to kill everyone. XD You can't avoid fights. Let's go with the MMO idea instead. I guess it'll be a pretty standard "quest for the shiny" storyline. *trots off to make new thread*

Common goal brainstorming:
- Finding/creating an item/creature/location that heals or grants immortailty. E.G. The philosophers stone, the phoneix, the fountain of youth. This could be for personal gain or to heal someone important to the character, like a sick sibbling.
- Hunting monsters for cash, with the ultimate goal of defeating the lord of these monsters and bringing peace to the world.
- Searching for engagment gifts for a beautiful princess/prince, e.g. Bamboo princess.

You might want to add some character profile requirements to this RP to prevent godmoding. Such as: No holy blood (you're not allowed to be decended from a god or goddess), no being the "absolute best" at something, and a required physical weakness.
I've seen so many RP's where the characters are pathetically Mary Sue. Which is why I usually keep out of role plays.

I usually treat my character as human, in respects to weaknesses, etc.
Might also want to put that you can't be part every animal that comes to mind and then some.
I still have no idea how a fairy would get it on with a fox. o_O
Edit -> In reference to my 'human weaknesses', if my character gets shot in the head, he's probably going to be dead in the next 5 seconds. If he drinks a green vial for no reason, his insides will probably start to dissolve really soon. If he scratches himself on some evil plant thorn... If it's magical, something bad might happen. If it's just evil, then whoopie. Put a bandage on it. XD
