Seph snickered "Well I dont see you complaining about the idea of being forced to have a buffet full of delicious food. my only worry with that is Chobi getting impateient having to wait outside while we eat. Tough no getting ideas about recruiting Alpha either as he gets himself in enough trouble as is just doing his own thing, Makes me wonder how his kids turned out without all his bad habbits"

Hebal applauded pleased to see everyone was making progress resulting in her accidentally flinging her plate towards Aethys who ducked and dropped his own to get out the way. "Oooh opps, sorry there but I think we can do it all again. Good job Jeckhart... at least you cant make a mistake like that" she mumbled feeling her cheeks turn red.

Aethys turned around following the noise of the laughter coming from Alpha and Mu "Well its fine. it was pretty funny I guess and especially for anyone spectating. Besides. I work ina circus, had worse near misses than that in my time here" he assured her.

Runide hesitated looking around for something she thought would appeal more to Zadina this time "Well really it would be a good idea to simply try them all but for the sake of speed and your wallets how about.... this game" she eventually decided "now this one we all can play. It's called hungry chocobo an the idea is when turned on the plasic chobobo there opens and closes its mouth and moves and stuff and you have to throw the balls into them.

Amane paused poking the chocobo head wondering what made the game work "Well ok this could be a team work thing to try and get a prize since theres three rather than one of us though where do the balls come out of" she wondered failing to notice the tubes.

Oassu nodded "Yes it's been fine here, Entia made us very comfortable and provided us with a small breakfast" he said knowing his stomach wasn't full yet before listening to Nares and sensing an opportunity to make a profit at the meeting.

Gil shrugged "Some people might not be able to make a costume, I know I'm not one for arts and crafts and some folks might just want to participate and not be here for the contest so can't really bash folks who take store costumes" he said missing the sight of Takeo.

Itaka nodded "Well she'd be like that anywhere we go to eat but we'll get the chocobo's some greens somewhere before we go in, besides she'll have Annabell for company" he said applauding as the gymnasts formed a human pyramid on the move.

Jeckhart smiled "You needn't be embarassed Hebal we're hardly experts with this and I may have not made that mistake but you span your plate for longer than I did" he said trying to cheer her up a bit

Zadina nodded "I see, well that seems alright I suppose and it's not too far away so shouldn't be especially difficult I imagine" he said nodding happily to himself "I wonder do we get a prize for this one as well?" he asked.

Hayate nodded "Yeah, I am a bit hungry if I am honest but thats not because of location but I have been in far worse places over the winter than this" he politely told Nares shuffling slightly further away from her as she spread her wings out. Something else to discuss I take it?"

Asule nodded "Well yes I still wanted to talk to you. Well more the princess and her fiance than yourselves. Our arrangement still stands with no problems so worry not about that. I actually have something for you" she told them holding out a small tube allowing Felina to take it from her.

Felina paused looking at the liquid in side before cautiously taking the top off and taking a small sniff "Umm thanks but what is this? No offence but based on the smell I dont think this is something we should consume?" she wondered.

"You are somewhat correct. You do not need to consume it now but sometime in the near future you will need it. Your next adventure on your journey is going to be in a difficult environment but it is also necessary if the pair of you are serious in what you seek" Asule explained half expecting her predictions to be shrugged off or taken negatively.

Hitomi turned her head looking at the two man dragon a moment "Nope I didnt see anything and it would be kinda rude to lift the costume up an see" she whispered stepping aside for them laughing to see Hotaru entering a match of roaring back anf forth for half a minute. "Well yeah thats definately Takeo doing the roaring part nor Ranmaru not that Ranmaru ever does these kinda things anyway the spoil sport he can be sometimes"

Satoshi smirked joining in with Hotaru pretty sure she wasnt mistaken "Thats true Ranmaru can be pretty stiff when he wants to be though he'll probably be watching somewhere in the crowd at least. Though I like those costumes too" she added pointing to one makeshift dragon costume that seemed to be made from a combination of random household items attatched to a giant quilt.

Seph shook her head "Nah Zadina is more energetic than he looks or realises from hiding behind all those fancy books and spells. He could climb up there on his own with the right push or a little bit of encouragement. And if he couldn't do it Hebal, Felina and Hayate are also probably light enough to go on top without breaking any shoulders" she snickered. "You never know when a human pyramid might save your life" she joked.

Hebal gasped and shook her head "Oh no waay, I dont need a trampoline to jump well and its more fun to learn new skills anyway.Plus an act isnt special if your naturally good at it. You wouldn't see the fire demons walking across hot coal and breathing fire" she pointed out thinking Jeckhart was better suited.

Aethys shrugged "Well I guess though I am sure they could find some other way to show off your jumping abilities. Probably got pretty good balence too if my experience with viera proves anything so maybe a high wire would be a good idea. Then should you lose your balence you wont have to worry about a nasty fall"

Runide said nothing her concentration entirely focues on the game, determined that the group would win one prize at least and began frantically grabbing all the balls and throwing them at the mechanical mouth all at once.

Amane laughed at her behaviour surprised their friend wasn't getting tired out "Woah easy there, if you throw them all at once they will knock eachother away. Though yeah this game is clearly designed so tall people have a much bigger advabtage" she concluded.

Oassu frowned "Well yeah the wings are kind of indicative of good spirit at least" he said shrugging "We'll take good care of it and hopefully not need it too much" he said glancing at the liquid "Perhaps someone else can tell us more about what it does but thank you" he said bowing politely

Gil nodded "Right we should get going but let's go see your folks before we leave the parade entirely after all Enkidu seemed comfortable leaving to see them" he grunted preparing to say goodbye to Hitomi and her sister "I think it's nice how this brings families together so much, it's a brief time when business is poor but that's good, wars tend to be put on hold where it's worshipped, sure a few conflicts are ongoing but most folks lose the will to fight at this time" he said.

Itaka raised an eyebrow "You think? Nah he may be energetic but I don't think he's athletic much or flexible, elves evolved from trees supposedly s'why you don't see many elf gymnasts out there I figure all stiff and tall" he chuckled.

Jeckhart scratched his chin "I'm not sure, a demon in human form could probably hide their traits and pass them off as a pretty amazing act in a human circus, I suppose that's what makes this one somewhat special" he said "Since it's performers go the extra distance to be challenging to demons" he said giving the dragon an uneasy glance.

Zadina frowned as one of Runide's balls knocked his out of the way "Yes it can do that when you throw frantically but I don't think all the balls are coming back to us" he commented thinking he was finding it harder to find a free ball amidst Runide's paws grabbing.

Asule nodded bowing back at Oassu and Felina "Yes someone will know its use. Not in your group but there will be connections you are yet to see. Apologies if you do not see this insight as particularly useful but it is forbidden to directly tell a person the future for that knowledge alone can be damaging to a person even if not intentional" she apologised seeing Felina's puzzled look.

"No no its fine thank you" Felina assured her putting the vial away from Cid's reach who didnt seem the least bit threatened by Asule reaching out to pet him. "Must be a really useful ability but a hard one to have also. I would blurt out all kinds of things if I could see things"

Hayate meanwhile shuffled further away from Asule suddenly aware of the fact that Nal was lurking around quietly behind him glad to have some distance between him and most of the centuars. "Not my idea of a fun job either. But with a group our size if we go by their friends and then theirs eventually we'll work out what it does. We're well travelled enough"

"Oh yeah that really surprised me you know, since he's only met my folks the once except for Yuudai who he has met twice. Didn't think he would be so trusting in such a short space of time" Satoshi admitted before turning to Hitomi "Ok we're going to be making tracks now. We'll be sure to meet up later on. Wouldn't do to not chill a little before I left again after all.... hey Hotaru. Come here a second" she addedon gesturing for the kid to come her way "Now you be a good kid and show your sister how a real dragon does things and you'll be sure to win the contest"

Hitomi smirked Hotaru simply nodding her head and roaring at them when she waved to show she understood the message "Yeah I will see you later. I mean I am going for a drink with Ranmaru later since he doesnt have any family and figured he would be a bit lonely so will probably be around when you talk later"

Seph nodded. "It's true but with elves being so secluded and many of them aren't overly adventurous, its only a handful of the most common ones that people ever see. Like Felina and Zadina. Where as say darker skinned ones like Hayate, so few leave the desert that most people forget they exist. But as far as demons go, eventually you'll see less and less of them to have much variation because we'll either go extinct here or end up breeding in with other species and thus becoming less demonic overtime" the thought suddenly occurred to her while she scratched her head. "That means if you and I were to have kids one day they might come out with no demon features at all"

Aethys couldn't help but snicker "It's ironic somewhat when you think about it. Many demons are pretty much exactly the same when it comes to other species. The majority of demons really don't like elves. They scare the lesser ones more than any other species. Garif were the ones that everyone feared the most but with them dying out so quickly they got overlooked post war according to the history books. It's pretty funny how each side writes completely different accounts on the same event"

Hebal paused stroking her ear "Well yeah I guess the whole war was portrayed differently from the opposing side. But apparently my flopping ear makes me look a bit lazy and somewhat.... I think one said airheaded which I am pretty sure is meant to be an insult"

Aethys shook his head "Well if they think that then they are the stupid ones. I know I sure aint stupid" he defended her pointing to his own ears "just ignore them" he added daring to try and lift the plate upwards so to flip it.

Runide shrugged entering another coin starting the music from the beginning "Who is Miss Seph? And actually there are some species of demon with hands, fingers and everything at the end of their tails so I wouldn't rule that out Zadina"

Amane shuddered thinking the image was of some extremely creepy looking demons "Miss Seph is one of Zadina's travel friends. She's a demon and has a tail which I think she can use to grip stuff. Though your friend with all the hands I bet would be good at this" she gasped concentrating on her throw.

Oassu chuckled watching Corella dance with the others "Well thats cute good to see she's enjoying her duties as an ambassador so much" he said petting Cid for his good behaviour "Are our horses still tied up at the entrance?" he asked Nares.

Gil chuckled "Well being in a costume means we are somewhat anonymous and he wasn't plus I'm pretty sure he has a different idea of what fun is" he said glancing back at Hotaru slightly worried "Well she didn't pass the ninja exams?" he sighed "Wouldn't that make her a target for bullying in a ninja village?" he asked

Itaka coughed slightly surprised at the mention of kids "We-well now heh they'd probably get a little longevity at least being a quarter demon but yeah it's likely demon genes will eventually be bred out of this world to the point no more physical alterations or disadvantages will exist anymore" he said somewhat uncertainly "Course genetics is hardly my thing demon genes might be dominant for all we know" he shrugged thinking he'd be disappointed if he was Seph's kid and never got wings.

Jeckhart nodded "It's a shame the Garif are struggling so, it's a wonder how they supposedly flourished years ago" he said trying to smile reassuringly "Well your ears look fine to me Hebal and you are an exceptionally progressive Viera considering their normal policy just to stay in their forests so you shouldn't pay much attention to what the others say anyway" he said.

Zadina nodded "Yeah Sir Gilgamesh would probably be excellent at this though that's quite cheating" he giggled "We might even be cheating right now by doing it all together" he said throwing more into the little chocobo mouth.
