Alpha smiled guessing Jeckhart was disappointed "Nah the clan has some pretty strict rules which isnt appealing to a lot of demons and if it makes you feel better I dont think anyone could drag Psy away from his little clinic so not just the clan there. But times have changed, as has my lifestyle... dont have to worry about signle parenting anymore" he concluded not wanting to go further into his more settled past.

"Well if I were to make a suggestion. A few more luxurious hideouts in holiday hotspots would certainly get the number of recruits up" Aethys joked before Jeckhart could comment further on how settled Alpha was.

Hebal meanwhile bounced up behind the men talking "Hiya, that was pretty fun, no wonder you have so many performers at this place. You sure I cant get any of you to try some of the cool stuff?" she asked almost panting "It's surprisingly big exercise too"

Seph smirked watching Itaka's response "Dont get too impressed, he's only about 11th or 12th in line to the throne. Was against the whole demon war so stayed pretty neutral the whole time. Would help anyone who actually needed it or if you looked interesting enough. Probably how he ended up being a gatekeeper though is probably incredibly bored".

Runide happily licked her lips at the thought "Well that sounds good but I would still want to chase stuff and go down to the pond or lake and catch them myself but I bet they wouldnt let you do that in case you fell in or something"

"I am sure they arent that restrictive. I'm going to make sure my future guardians aren't too restrictive like that. I want to be a really capable person even if with loads of protectors just like princess Felina only with less magical talent" Amane predicted hopefully drawn to the flashing red lights of one game and its music.

Oassu nodded "Seems somewhat fair I imagine though I still wouldn't mind a little island for me an Felina ourselves" he chuckled smiling at the thought "Don't suppose the Great Dragon would be kind enough to bestow that gift upon me though" he said watching Corella dance with the centaurs seemingly unaware her friends had stopped.

Gil emitted a small "Aww" seeing Hotaru boast "Yes you are" he said in agreement ignoring the trailing costume caused by Hitomi not being in the back "Still something important to talk about?" he asked sighing "Hopefully not a big mission" he muttered glancing at Satoshi.

Jeckhart frowned "That would be a blatant sign of sloth" he muttered quietly before jumping as Hebal surprised him "Well I think I'll be ok Hebal, if it's enough to tire you out I think I'd pass out from that activity" he said.

Itaka rolled his eyes "Out of 72 that's pretty impressive, surprised the demon king didn't denounce him and take his title for not following but yeah that probably bought him some favour with the denizens of this world" he said watching Annabell kweh at a large chocobo float passing by.

Zadina giggled "Well if you asked they would probably build you a private pond with fish to chase" he said frowning as they approached the arcade "Are you sure you want to go in there Miss Amane, it's awfully dark and unusual" he said warily.

Felina laughed shaking her head "As much as the great dragon can try to get people certain gifts. I think the island might be too ambitious and my dad probably wouldn't be willing to gift anyone an island either unless he had a very good reason for it. Will just have to save up for that little luxury.

"Your little island idea is all well and good but you know, depending on the size of the island that will leave you with next to no social life since any interaction with the world would require a boat or an airship. Even Elorin would struggle to buy a reasonable sized island with a tiny amount of ihabitants" Hayate pointed out

"Heh or maybe thats the iea, to try and get away from us lot and the pressure of keeping up appearences" Nares laughed watching Entia shuffle away to join Corella suddenly feeling out of place. "Oh yeah, forgot to mention. some of the centuars have invited us to go hunt with them shortly if your all up for it"

Satoshi laughed patting the dragons head earning a grumpy shake off from Hotaru. "No clue what thats about. Any ideas? Hopefully its not work related or me getting in trouble for anything to do with my travel papers" she asked imitating Hotaru's movement.

"Hehe don't encourage her too much or she'll be boasting for the rest of the month" Hitomi warned them thinking it would save her sanity a while longer. "No I dont know what it was about. I guess thats why its private but as far as I know Ranmaru approved his part of the travel papers so thats one less thing to worry about"

Seph paused licking her lips "Well some got out when we did. Hundreds of demons tried to force their way out into this world that day, would make sense if it was the stronger ones who broke out the final gate to be properly sealed. They sure put him on a leash being a gate keeper though since they can only travel so far away from the gate itself in both worlds and the demon world has more settlements close to that gate than in this world" she shrugged managing to pinch a cake from a tray using her tail while the holder was distracted by giving them out to the kids.

Hebal cheered happy to finally have some participants "Well that means that none of us have tried it before so hopefully we wont smash all the plates. If they are even smashable that is" she wondered bouncing up grabbing herself a large pink pole half the size of her"

Aethys couldnt help but snicker when Jeckhart wasn't looking regarding his sudden change of decision "nah these are just heavy plastic ones designed for being dropped thousands of times otherwise this would cost a fortune" he assured her taking a blue one. "Well I guess we just have to balence it to start and then put a spin on it..." he planned out cautiously setting the plate in place.

Runide shook her head "Pff the ghost train isn't scary. My dad made that one and let me come up with some ideas for it though its out of order right now. For some reason something fried in there last night so he'll be busy with that post festival. "Oh wait Amane try this one since your here. If you put 1 gil in here it starts a game. Basically you have to whack as many stuffed moles as you can in the time limit" she explained putting the money in the machine for her and handing over the fluffy hammer to go with the game.

Amane jumped back in fear watching the glowing yellow machine jump to life "Umm ok.... those are moles I take it?" she wondered not having seen the creatures popping out the holes before "Umm ok I'll try my best and..." she trailed off concentrating on the task at hand.

Oassu sighed glad that the issue had been handed quietly "Well it makes sense this isn't a holiday for them after all just business as usual" he said moving closer to Felina for warmth "Still Corella might not mind staying to hunt seeing how she is enjoying her time so far" he chuckled watching her dance.

Gil smiled "Certainly like making scarves don't you" he said nudging Satoshi gently "Still it looks nice though I don't think it's so bad for the kid to be hyper on the day of the Dragon festival after all, it's an exciting time" he said.

Itaka chuckled nudging Seph seeing her larceny "Cheeky, maybe I should have hired you for the thieves guild" he said spotting one kid with a cupcake giving Seph a curious look having spotted her theft "We're going out for something to eat so don't ruin your appetite, though I doubt that's possible knowing your stomach" he smirked patting her tummy.

Jeckhart frowned taking his own pole and watching Aethys "I'm surprised there's such a tame act in your circus, especially considering how everything else is so high-scale compared to a regular circus" he said stooping to collect a plastic plate before attempting to copy Aethys' moves and place it on the end.

Zadina remained silent not willing to mention the ghost train again before seeing the others were mid game. "Wow what a violent game...those poor moles" he said frowning slightly before attempting to help by pointing out some moles as they came up.

Satoshi nodded "Hey everyone appreciates a good scarf. They look cool and keep you warm at the same time" she defended herself not mentioning she didn't have the time to make all the presents that she wanted to. "And don't worry about the present. Mum may be a little nosey at times but she wouldnt go opening up my presents thank god."

Hitomi shook her head "Your mother isn't that bad I don't think. Really nice despite the odd choice of career and Satoshi makes great scarves. Makes really nice clothes too so if you every need to retire theres a good money making plan and..." she cut herself off keeping a close eye on her sister. "hey Hotaru get back over here and stop trying to scare that cat" she scolded gesturing for her to come closer into sight. "So did she make you a scarf too Gil, for the festival?"

Hayate snickered glancing at Corella "Her hunting? Nah she cant even deal with seeing a mouse having its tail stepped on let alone a fiend being impaled on one of those spears over there. Maybe she should get herself some more training from somewhere safer"

Nares nodded "Pretty much they have their own holidays. Corella would probably prefer to do family and party things. I know I would even if it means spending all night trying not to get a headache from my noisy easily excited son" she added jokingly.

Felina smiled hugging Oassu "So long as they know about the fireworks being set off at the temple otherwise they might panic like crazy here and get mad" the thought suddenly occured to her. We ought to let them know that. Oh and dear, you'll probably be expected to meet a few people close to the family no doubt" she warned.

Seph paused thinking it over a moment "Well as much as I would like a buffet... I wouldn't mind what type of food we eat so long as I spent the day of the festival dining with you as corny as that probably sounded to you" she answered nuzzling his shoulder. "Yeah Alpha is one of those people who when you think you have 'em all worked out and then bam, they drop something new and unexpected on you. He still does that from time to time even with me"

Hebal nodded her head having dropped another "Uhuh definately harder than it looks but I will keep trying. Would be super cool to learn a new skill while here" she agreed holding her breath a moment with her latest attempt hoping it would continue spinning and not topple over. "..... oh lookie, I think I did it. This is so cool she exclaimed almost jumping up and throwing her plate off balence.

Aethys gave Hebal a nod afraid giving her some form of applause would screw up his own attempts "Well done, your a fast learner for sure" he joked having counted just how many plates she had gone through in the past minute.

Runide shook her head waving the mallet above her head "He may have many arms but theres only one of these so if he was using other things to whack them with then he would totally be cheating" she tutted peeking in the hole wondering what Zadina was looking for. "The pries arent kept in their but it can be sweets and stuffed animals. Those are just the ones I have seen"

Amane meanwhile searched the sides of the machines wondering where the prizes came back "From the soun of it, would just be easier to play the sidestall games than one of these but I guess these are meant to be more fun than about the prizes cause I domt think theres any big ones."

Oassu nodded "Well I suppose that could be ok though what kind of people will be visiting?" he asked "I hope that doesn't mean the rest of the day is spent just secluded in the castle meeting officials" he grunted disapprovingly before waving hello to the newcomer.

Gil frowned "I don't know, you ninja can use fire jutsu right? Perhaps it's just a ninja who can concentrate enough to do that while holding up the costume." he suggested applauding the costume as it went past. "Though Satoshi made both these costumes as you can tell they sort of compliment each other" he said indicating the similar designs.

Itaka smiled petting Seph's horns "Well sure though whether he's good at pickpocketing or knows it in theory leaves me wondering" he said applauding as some gymnasts came past accompanying the band "Still we'll get you a buffet anything less probably wouldn't satisfy you" he joked.

Jeckhart frowned as he tentatively managed to get one plate spinning shakily for 4 seconds before it fell with a shake of the pole he sighed before applauding Hebal's success "Well I'm counting that one at least but you seem to have really mastered it Hebal" he said with genuine surprise.

Zadina nodded "We got some good prizes at the sidestalls but I can see why this would be fun even if you don't win any prizes" he said looking around the other strange machines "What other interesting devices are there here?" he asked
