I just don't like Twilight ^^
But yeah, Vampire Knight is similar to Twilight.
I would be fine with twilight if it weren't for the sparkliness, which is what Vampire Knight lacks (thank god)

DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD< *pokes* Read City of Bones :3 I forced twilight fans to read it and they love it 8D Jace is sexy AND an a*****e 8D And my fave pairing in the trilogy was the gay one D8 *rolls around* I'm not even a yaoi/shounen-ai fan! As for Twilight/Vampire Knight. I noticed that... but i tried reading twilight and I hated Bella's mary-sue-ish attitude. I only read the book for Alice and Jasper DX THEY NEED THEIR OWN DAMN BOOK.

i can say i'm one of those people that has gone along with the haters without even reading it biggrin but it doesn't seem like something i would read anyway, so don't tell me to read it *likes action, fantasy, sci-fi, and humour*
ooo, sexy [funny] assholes in fiction are the best biggrin
good i'm not the only one who noticed |D i only read Vampire Knight when a new book shows up at the local library.

City of Bones, eh? That sounds pretty good. I read the Twilight books, and own the first 3 books. I like them. They're not my favorite books by far, but they're entertaining. *shrugs*
I don't agree with either side of the argument. Yes, they're good, but they're nothing to take to serious. When I read Twilight, I'm entertained the same way as when I read fanfiction written by a bored teenager. At the same time, they aren't horrible books. At least its got a somewhat stable storyline: 1st - boy likes girl; 2nd - boy leaves girl and she starts to like boy #2; 3rd - girl must choose between boys; 4th (which I haven't read except for the first page or two) - girl gets married to boy.
Believe me, I've read books that can't even handle THAT.
For those who think that Twilight is the worse book they've ever read, you are really lucky. That must mean that I've read some pretty horrible books in my time.
