Leila only stood there in shock, looking back and forth between Lucky, Liam and Dream. Her primary urge was to stay here and fight, but she knew she would probably not be able to help much. Haucon's voice broke her out of her minor trance. "I promise I'll take care of him..." she nodded to Liam. "And you better come back for him." With that, she took off after the others, a tight hold on the cat if it were to try and get free to get back to its owner. She cooed and purred in its ear to calm it down even further, feeling its hair standing on end in slight anger. "How far do we have to go, Haucon?" she called to him; she didn't have the strength to fly anymore and carry the others, her hair hanging limp like it was tired itself.

Violet slowly walked forward, her own wings spreading, casting a dark shadow in front of her. If she were to take off now it would be sudden, giving Dream and Liam little time to react. "Do you mean apart from the fact it's the family business?" she asked, her cold voice dripping with sarcasm. "I thought you were intelligent Dream, without the darkness I can't survive. Animals kill constantly and yet I don't see you trying to turn them into Vegitarians," she replied her pace never slowing as she approached the two. They were barely thirty feet away when she asked, "Anything else you want to know? Or prehaps the angel - for lack of a better word - would like to speak?" she paused for a moment, turning to face Liam as she pulled her sunglasses from her pocket.

"Not far..." Haucon said to Leila looking concerned. She was looking a little worse for wear. "You don't have to fly, we'll just run ok? Can you do that?" he said, offering her his hand. ((sorry it's so short guys))

Leila nodded to him, gently placed Lucky inside the large shirt she was wearing, cradled him in the shirt and took Haucon's hand with her free one. He'll be safer and warmer there...as long as he doesn't try to jump out. "I hope Dream and Liam can deal with Violet themselves..." she said, more as an assurance to herself than anything, as she glanced back at them for one quick second.

"Most animals can't make intelligent decisions, and they need to do it. I've seen plenty of demons who don't kill. But if you strive to cause death, then I feel no regret in stopping you." He held his rod steady, awaiting a movement. "And I'm sure Liam agrees."

"I also need to kill you fool. If i did not I would starve within three days. Your ignorant of this world and its species. You should have just stayed where you were, go and 'save' people who actually care. If I recall correctly Liam was all set to destroy this world with me this morning, how can you even trust him?" she snarled, then suddenly dived forwards, her rapier aiming for the left side of his rib cage. She wasn't aiming to kill straight away, if either of them died instantly she wouldn't get her meal.

Liam lowered his head when Violet addressed him as an angel; the girl that he had only recently worked with for Steffan's purposes. "Are you truly that cold-hearted? Or is this dark Violet just a cover-up from who you really are?" he asked quietly, but loud enough for her to hear from the distance between them, "Do you really wish to fight us? Or are you simply following Steffan's orders?" he asked, finally raising his head to look at her with gray eyes.

Dream spun around the raiper, using the air for balance. It wasn't exactly a difficult maneuver, just a sidestep twirling motion, with his powers bringing him right around her. He stood behind her now, not attacking, just waiting and holding his rod in a defensive position. "I do trust him, because he changed. I personally felt his misery, and I understand how he could do what he had done."
"And if I recall, you were able to obtain energy from someone before without resorting to their death. Perhaps I am slightly ignorant of certain forms of the demon race, but I learn as I go along. Might I remind you that you are probably just as ignorant of my own race?"

Violet didn't react as Dream dodged her, in truth she'd expected him to and so she took a step forward before turning on heel to stare straight back at him. "I'll admit I know nothing of you, but i'm not really planning on visiting Popstar and changing the course of everyones lives there am I?" she snarled, tired of people trying to tell her what was right and wrong. She raised her voice as she replied to Liam, "I follow no ones orders anymore, I'm tired of having no control over my own existance. Human's are pathetic wastes and yet they get another chance when they die. I however, work myself to death and receive nothing," she hissed, her voice lowering to a deadly whisper. Taking a deep breath she spoke to Dream once more, "The energy is not enough, to feed without killing will sustain for a time, but it would not last. To continue to live that way would be to live like a Humming bird, constantly searching for energy," She didn't make another move towards him, instead probing her mind forward. She wouldn't quite dare enter but she could usually build up the pressure around a persons thoughts.

Holly watched the whole interaction with a feeling of helplessness. She still couldn't help but feel like she had brought this around in one way or another.
She followed them as they started off, catching sight of Leila's and Haucon's clasped hands. Another pang of guilt shot through her as she saw Leila's exaughsted face. She attempted to keep her face blank as she simply followed, with only the briefest glance backwards to Dream and Liam.
"Please... keep them safe." Holly prayed to her Lord.

Dream felt his mind being slowly stressed. He concentrated his mind on light, so as to make some sort of defense. "So, let's pretend for a minute that I think you're in the right. What is it that you would want me to do differently? From what I've heard so far, it sounds like you're just... jealous of the unfair advantages humans get. I'm not exactly a huge fan of most humans either, you know."

((I really have no idea what to post here... I'm much better at fight scenes than I am at running...))
She easily kept pace with Holly, before taking the other girls hand, a knowing smile on her lips. She may have only known the girl for a couple of hours, but she had a feeling she already knew what the Angel was thinking. "This isn't your fault, so stop blaming yourself, okay?"

As Violet sensed the light in his mind she grimanced and kept probing. As it was only her eyes that were sensitive she hoped she'd be alright for a time. "Differently? Simple really, I want you to leave. When your not around I don't have to draw attention to myself and risk getting killed." from the way she spoke she was obviously underestimating Dream and his friends. "Humans may get a lot of advantages but I would rather die then become human. Stupid, childish things that do nothing but eat, sleep and eat some more." she scoffed then took another swing at Dream. This time she aimed lower, trying to knock him off balance so she could hit him properly immeadiatly afterwards.

Haucon increased his speed, looking over his shoulder trying to make sure the others were keeping up. He was most worried about Leila because she still hadn't fully recovered. He rounded numerous corners, trying to put as much distance between themselves and danger as possible.

Holly blinked in surprise at Kihaku's words. She looked at her, startled, then relaxed her face into a smile. "Thanks, Kihaku."
Feeling a little more comforted, she allowed Kihaku to pull her along as they followed the others.
