He winced hard...he felt a hard backlash of his chakra moving however the hell it wanted. He didn't have it in him to keep doing this...thats what it was...he needed a break for a moment.
And so he lay there...a good 10 or 15 minutes would pass without hime ven stiring. The heat of the sun beaming down on him over and over. He couldn't even bare to cover his face. Felt kind of good actually. He was just tired mostly. Learning the chakra flow and then the actual jusu was something that was tiring in and of itself. He couldn't take much of it now...no...he was just tired. He would be fine after a bit of time.
He wished he had taken another drink from the water...but he didn't want it now. Backwash was nasty. He sat up afte ra while and looked to the boy. His face was blank and his eyes were teh same. He blinked a few times and soon crossed his arms. He took a moment ot contemplate a few things as he applied the jutsu once more.

amazin what a few minutes of laying down ont he job cold do for a person. He felt revitalized as a fresh batch of chakra, albiet small, rushed through his body and to perform the alloted task. he pumped the chakra through his body into the boy and let it flow deeply and quickly. A sigh left his lips as he laid there for a moment and looked up to the sky. He disabled the genjutsu and only focused on the clouds for a moment. He was taking breaks now, inbetween each attempt to try and give his body time to work itself back into being ok. he felt his body twinge every now and then but nothing major.
After the few moments had passed, he sat back up and looked to the boy again. His body was almost use to it...he knew it. He could feel it. he soon worked and began to apply the chakra again.

Looking on for a moment. He could tell that he didn't have anything again. It was there...but it wasn't. He couldn't feel the same feeling as before. Maybe he wasn't doing something right. Maybe he was getting something wrong. He began to trace his steps in his mind...really work his way through the steps as he went along with it. He couldn't really figure what he was doing wrong or right but he knew it was there...somewhere. He couldn't figure out what though.
Sighing for a bit, he took his break as he had ordained hismelf to do. He was only in need of a little bit mroe before he'd have this jutsu down. He had to get something out of it...something concreet. He looked up tot he boy Shin once more and smiled as he applied the jutsu once more.

Another backlash. He winced in pain but kept his mouth shut as before. Damn he was pushing his body too hard but he was almost done. He kenw he was getting closer to perfecting this jutsu. Why was it causing him such trouble...was genjutsu just really not his forte? He couldn't really understand what was wrong with this. He looked up for a moment and groaned as he let his mind flow along this jutsu for a moment.
He tried to think abou all the things she told him before she left. He couldn't let the cat's words pass out of his mind or else he'd loose the essences of this jutsu...thats when he realized it. She hadn't really told him that much about the jutsu. He knew most of it from books. She just told him how to implement it...lot of help that did him. He couldn't really fathom this now...he simply sat up and looked over to the boy again. His eyes were a bit more darker...he was getting tired both mentally and physically. This jutsu was starting to beat him but not completly. He knew he was on the verge. he just had to to finish it...yes...if he could finish it then he'd be fine.

Close....so close to another backlash but not this time. His chakra was almost out of control but he felt it move back into order as he focused to prevent it. He was getting sick of this damn thing. Why was his chakra moving in such weird wasys. Was he really pushing his body too hard? Was it really rebelling against him?
Without letting it rest, he moved his chakra again to try and cover this jutsu.

He was hit with a good solid blow, but that one didn't last long. The next few didn't even find themselves trying to creep into his head. He wouldn't have know, at the time, if anyone was trying to hit him if he didn't see Roy concentraiting so hard. "You ok...?" He tilted his head slightly. He pulled out a rice ball from his pouch where he got the water from. "Maybe you should eat this... it'll last you a few more trys... eh?" He handed it over to him.

Finally, that was it. Roy had it. It was the flow of chakra at the point of impact upon the oppoenents mind. he had it all planned out in his mind. He figured it out at that exact moment. The flow and the exact executin were what were needed. He got it, the basics of the Narakumi no Jutsu. He began to laugh as he laid back down but stopped half way down. He had the general concept perfectly now but he still needed a little more practice before he could call it a day. just a bit more.
He released the genjutsu on the boy and smiled widly. He was happy to finally have grasped the jutsu and soon began to apply it again using his newfound knowledge.

And another failure. his body was giving out on him. That was his problem. he could feel it. But he just had to keep going. A few more tries and he'd be ok with the jutsu. he was mroe or less trying out different renditions and variations he could think of about htis jutsu before he stoped for the day. A sigh left his lips as he sat there, sweat dripping from his brow. He was having problems with his chakra now but he had to finish. He looked up and sighed as he applied it again.

It was going better now. Another theory was checked and put to bed in his mind so he could use it for later usage with other jutsu. He had to get this to understand things. He began to try different avenue of chakra through his body to get his movement of chakra just right. He wanted different avenue for his chakra to travel through in case he fought someone, like the Hyuuga, that could cut off chakra to certain body parts or certain chakra nodes. If he had alternate routes he could call up instantly, he'd be fine.
After disableing the genjutsu, he began to try some of hte new routes.

Well that didn't work. Maybe another pathway would work just as well. He was getting to the end of hsi rope. He felt his body beginning ot give out. His vision was blury, maybe that was it. Maybe he was just too tired to try this anymore...maybe but he wouldn't listen too damn stubborn. He sighed deeply and took a long, slow, deep breath. He looked up and sighed a moment as he blinked and smiled agin. His body would hold, he knew it would. It was only a little more befor ehe'd stop. He'd quite soon.

nope...he was out. he couldn't take anymore. Or rather, maybe it's better to say he couldn't MAKE anymore. His chakra was spent and he was too damn tired to try and makemore chakra. he felt his body give way a bit and he laid down on the ground and sighed. His chest was pushing up and down at a spiradic but quick rate. he soon calmed it as he laid there...looking ot the two boys and took the rice ball. He bit into it and chewed it...It was dry. The sun would do that to a ball of rice. he sighed, "Oy...got...anymore...water?" he laughed softly to himself.
he had done it. He had learned the jutsu.

Shinku settled down into a cross-legged position and stuffed the rice ball back into his pouch, pulling out another water bottle and tossing it to Roy. "There you go... you sure you dont want a rice ball? I have a couple..." He smiled a bit, glad it was over. He wiped the rest of the sweat from his face and drank what was left of the other water bottle. "I need to get a refill soon... it's too hot out here..."

Roy just smiled as he lay there. he soon stood up, slowly and wobbly. he was almost out of it. Looking to katare, he arched a brow. the boy had said he wanted t talk to Roy about something but he hadn't said a word about it...maybe he didn't really need to talk to him about anything. With a shrug, Roy turned toward the exit of the platue..."Well...if you'll excuse me...I need to go rest at home...You guys have fun killing each other...or whatever it is you hyperactive b*****d do..." he laughed a bit and began to walk off, limping from tiredness. He waved a good by and thanked them for the water.

Shinku nodded and waved as Roy left. It had been somewhat fun... despite the fact that he was thrown into his nightmares every so often... but it was fine now... "So Katare... anything you need to talk on the matter...?"
