Well I didn't mean for it to sound like I was yelling at anyone either... Cuz I have the tendancy to read things wrong and then say something before rereading or whatever. sweatdrop So the "LOVE AND PEACE!!!" thing I was just stating a simple slogan/catch phrase. ninja More like shouting it but still has the same effect. xD;

*Shrugs* I mean whatever I'm doing. If someone sees it as something else, I can't help that.

Iron Anne Kidd You mean to say he was sainted for killing Pagans?
Saint Patrick's Day may be widely celebrated, but Saint Patrick isn't special in having a feast day. Pretty much every saint you can think of has a feast day. There are the famous & celebrated ones like the ones for him, Valentine, & Nicholas. But there are also obscure feast days like the ones for Francis of Assisi, Joan of Arc, Anna, Elizabeth, Cecilia, Anthony, Jude, Christopher, John the Baptist, Joseph, Theresa, Vincent, Narcissus, Quintus, Simon, Perpetua, Agatha, Lucy, Anastatia, Lazarus, Caius, Firminus, & the other Saint Patricks, Valentines, & Nicholases that no one seems to notice because of the famous ones. That's barely even the tip of the iceburg. a - ara thats a lot o' saints X_x

It's barely any compared to the list I've found. But there are only 365 days in a year with an extra for Leap Year. They'll run out of days before they run out of saints. I merely chose saint names I either knew growing up or thought were really cool looking. There are a few saints per name on some of those, like Quintus & Narcissus.
Also, is it just me, or is it strange to anyone else that there are sainted men named Narcissus? Do you think one of them is the saint of the proud? xd Then again, that's not so surprising since there are saints for just about anything. Some of the odd things there are patron saints for are lost causes, television, stiff necks, those attacked by dogs, accountants, twitching, aircraft pilots, apple orchards, Italian architects, beekeepers, & women in labor. Most of that is just what I remembered & the first part of a veeery long list of patron saints.

I wouldn't be surprised if part of picking what saints are patrons for some of those things was the result of not having anything else to do.
By the way, there is a patron saint of the vain, but they're not one of the Narcissuses. Her name is Rose of Lima.

Ty Ty Look I was told about it by my sister when she was still in school ok? Saint Paticks day was started because of Pagan being killed! That shouldn't be too suprising now should it? And Sug chan they're right, this is a dabate not a fight or anything >_> You do realize that even if that did happen, that not all Christians believe in using that method of spreading the Gospel. Luke 9:5 ( King James Version ) 5And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.
