From 50 paces, gun beats sword. From 20 paces, gun beats sword. From 5 paces, gun beats sword. In melee combat, gun beats sword.

Something's wrong then computer wise. @jello: The one time gun doesn't beat sword is when the number of bullets in its chamber equals zero. The one chance sword has to be advantageous. Too situational for swords. Gun rules all.
