"What....? Why... but you said..." Starlight whimpered as she moved over to her brother. She couldn't understand why they had been told of others that might be like a family, yet are told that it might put them into danger. It was confusing and very much upsetting to the small female African Wild Dog."It'll be all right, Starlight. We'll find somewhere to go, even if it can't be with Kaiko and her friends." he barked softly to his sister, pulling her close to him with one front paw. He then looked up at Kaiko, clearly not happy that she'd said about the "family" and then turned around, saying that it would be a bad idea; even if it wasn't in those words. He didn't say anything more to Kaiko, nosing his sister onto his back and getting up, ready to walk away; to find a safe place for the both of them like he'd first intended, before meeting Kaiko.

Kaiko stared at them for a few short seconds. "If you wish to come along despite the danger, the offer still stands. I simply do not wish any harm to come to either of you because I invited you along." She said cheerfully.

Ghostclaw stopped and looked over his shoulder. "I've seen horrible things, as has Starlight, even though she never should have seen them. We've gotten out of a tight squeeze with those poachers. Whatever you're dealing with may be bad, but I think that I can protect my sister. Even if that means sacrificing my life to save her. I'm not going to let anyone hurt her, ever" he said, his tone somewhat grumbling, due to him speaking, yet again, in human=speak so that Starlight couldn't understand what was being said. He didn't want to scare her and he didn't want anyone else to scare or threaten his sister either. "I'll also have yours and anyone else's backs if they, and you have mine."

Kaiko stared at Ghostclaw for a second or two, before speaking in human tongue. "Alright. I promise I'll do everything I can to protect you both, and I'll convince my sister to, too. If it comes down to it, though, I need you to promise me you'll take your sister and run when me or my sister tell you to. The person who's after us wants us, not you, so if you run then you can get away before she turns her attention off of us. Can we agree on this?" She looked at him with a serious gaze; which is extremely unusual for Kaiko. She cares about others a lot, though, so she's always serious when it comes to others' safety.

"All right. If you tell us to leave, we'll do just that. I have heightened senses, so I may be able to sense these people you're talking about, a good while before they're on top of us. Would that be useful to you? Now, don't think that I'm always able to sense things, since I didn't sense the poachers before they got my family..." Ghostclaw said, and sighed, his ears lowering at the last bit. "Lead the way, please."Starlight was very upset that her brother wasn't letting her understand him. She didn't know what he was saying that he apparently did not want her to her, but it was annoying that she was keeping things from her. "Why won't you let me understand you? Mama said not to talk behind other animals' backs because it's not nice... I'm a big pup... I'm not afraid." she yipped, then tugged at her brother's ear to try getting him to talk to her; yet she got nothing out of her brother. 'Stubborn...' she thought, frowning in a dog-like way.{ooc: Please forgive the tiny post. I have a killer headache at the moment, so my posts will be far from what I typically can do.}

Kaiko cleared her throat, and spoke so Starlight could understand. "I don't exactly know where they are... We got separated. I'm sure they're looking for me now, though. Maybe if we can find out where we are I'll be able to find them..." She sighed, and stood up. She suddenly remembered something. The twin's psychic ability. 'Perhaps...' She thought to herself. 'Hello? Can anyone hear me?' She thought loudly. She didn't expect any response, so she continued walking. "We were just talking about how cute you are." She adorned an innocent grin.

Ghostclaw frowned some, not liking the fact that Kaiko didn't know where her friends and sister were. "You mean that you were separated and now you're a bit on the lost side?" he tried not to sound grouchy, but he knew that things might have gotten a bit tougher without knowing where the friends of Kaiko were at. "Do you have anything that may have belonged to any of them, anything that may have their scent? I wouldn't be able to use my hearing to find them that way, since I wouldn't know what to listen for; but I could probably use my nose." he said; well "barked", since he was using the universal animal tongue that was easiest for him to use.Starlight slumped over her brother's back, her front half on his head. "Are we gonna stay here forever, just talking about her friends, or are we gonna start helpin' her to find her friends?" she yipped, tugging at her brother's ear.{ooc: I'm so sorry that I haven't replied to this sooner, even though I have logged in. I haven't really been posting on much of anything because when I was online I wasn't really on for long; not long enough to post... I've been really busy and now that I'm going to be going to work I probably will not be able to post much after this. Again, I am so sorry that I didn't post this sooner... sad }

Kaiko paused, thinking, before shaking her head. "No, anything I have that their scent would be on, a scent we really don't want to follow would be on it as well." She let out a sigh. "Lets just ask some Humans where we are." She started walking towards the nearest Human.[ No worries! I understand~ ^ -^]

"Star... please don't tug on my ears. Your little pup teeth are sharp." Ghostclaw groaned as he used a paw to deter his sister from tugging his ears again. He then looked to Kaiko. "Oh... that'd be bad. I wouldn't want to mix any scents up and track the wrong people. And you'd have to ask them. I don't believe that an animal speaking to Humans would be too normal... I don't want to get caught by poachers again.""Sorry, Ghostclaw..." Starlight yipped, putting her paws on her brother's head and settling her little head on her white dappled paws.{ooc: All right. Kaiko nodded. "Just pretend you're my pets, okay?" She didn't wait for their answer; instead, she looked around to make it less alarming that she doesn't know where she is. Her and Katsuko had to do things like this a lot. She ruffled her hair a bit, then bent down. She dabbed her hands into the dirt around her. She rubbed some dirt onto both of her cheeks, then added some to her dress, socks, and shoes. She ruffled her hair again, getting dirt throughout it. Finally, she put her hands on the ground, and pushed down to give the impression of a fall.
She got up, and eyed Starlight and Ghostclaw. "Hmm, could you shake a little of the dirt off your bodies? To give the impression that you're someone's pet and not strays. Humans are picky."[ I appreciate you thinking of me c:] [ Also, I might add to this post, or if I don't I'll add it to one of the next few posts, to just use my other characters again and give SMN a little push. xD]

"Pets...?! I don't... fine..." Ghostclaw groaned as he stopped himself from complaining further about having to put up a front and act like a pet. He didn't really know if anyone would believe that someone had two African Wild Dogs as pets, but he guessed that it was worth a shot; he just hoped that nothing about the plan would go awry.Starlight rather relished the thought of being a pet, whatever it was, since she thought that it would help to find Kaiko's friends. "I don't mind being a pet!" she yipped, softly, her ears perked up and her tail a-wagging.{ooc: Sorry this is short. I have a killer headache: I have work all day tomorrow. I have to take someone else's shift because they apparently aren't going to be in. :/ Although, I get more money. XD}

Kaiko smiled at the two. She didn't say another word before she started walking. She cleared her throat, preparing to speak in the common Human language. She looked around as she walked for some Humans. She walked up to the first person she saw, and tugged timidly on their clothes. "E-Excuse me, sir..." She said in a polite, timid, and desperate tone. She waited for the man to respond and look at her before continuing.
"I-I got separated from my family, then got lost trying to find them again... We just came into town to buy some things, but I tripped and ended up alone... Could you please tell me where we are? Not even my doggies can tell." She asked in a desperate and innocent tone, while looking at the man with pleading eyes.[ Yay more money! So, I stopped here to give you a chance to be the stranger if you want to. :3]

Ghostclaw did not want to get near any humans, at least, none that were not like Kaiko. Yet he knew that someone may have seen Kaiko's sister and her friends, so they had to try. He padded after Kaiko, really not liking the idea of being near humans, all on account of what happened to the rest of the pack that he and Starlight had come from.Starlight curled up on her brother's back, putting her front legs half around Ghostclaw's neck so that she'd not fall off.The man jumped a little as he felt someone tugging his sleeve and heard a young girl speaking to him. He turned and looked at the girl and the two African Wild Dogs that he was assuming were her pets. How the girl got the two canines as pets, he did not know, nor was he going to ask; it seemed too strange to him. As he listened to Kaiko he frowned, feeling sympathy for the young girl. "I'm really sorry to hear that," he said, honestly. “You’re on the outskirts of town. There’s that huge mansion over that-a-way. I don’t go that way, not normally, since I don’t feel comfortable around places that big.” He said. “Anyway, I hope that will help you figure out where you are. And I hope that you can find your friends. Oh, nice dogs by the way.” The man then turned and walked away, going in the direction of a shop that wasn’t too far off.{ooc: It doesn't matter to me. I can play the stranger. And sorry for the wait; work has been a bit of a pain in the butt for me. confused It's wearing me out, but I'll get used to it, eventually.}

Kaiko smiled softly, "Thank you very much, mister!" She called out as he walked off, cheerfully. She turned to Starlight and Ghostclaw, and knelt down. She cleared her throat and spoke in her native Dragon tongue again, whispering, "When we got separated we were at a huge mansion, that belongs to one of the people we were traveling with. She's pretty scary, but she's still a friend. Anyway, that mansion the man spoke about might be it; I never saw it from the outside, though, so I can't really tell if it's the right one..." She frowned as she remembered that last thing.Katsuko succeeded in transforming into just her wings. The wings looked to be attached to both of her elbows and ankles. She jumped up into the air, using the earth to give her a little boost. Once she got her balance, though the wind made it tough, she looked around. As she realized how big the land was, she stared in awe, looking around the entire landscapeMasato pushed Yuzuki's hands away, to interrupt her healing, knowing that if she tried anymore she'd exhaust herself. It's too bad of a wound to heal that easily. He slowly stood up, being careful not to hurt himself, so as not to get scolded by Yuzuki again, then went over to Kyumia. He waved his hand in a shooing movement towards Raiko.
"If you keep pulling them out like that you're going to cause permanent damage. Let me take care of it." He waved his hand through the air and collected the water from it, until his hands were surrounded in a sufficient amount of water. He held his hands out towards Kyumia's wings, palms facing down. The water flowed onto Kyumia's wings, surrounding them with water. The water seemed to be soaked up into the wounds the glass pieces caused, also seeming to soak up the fresh blood that stained her pure white wings.
The visible water slowly and gently pulled the glass pieces out, using the water to make sure it doesn't cause any permanent damage."Yuzuki, heal the flesh around her wounds." He stated, even though he knew Yuzuki was inexperienced at healing wings; that's why he only asked for her to heal the flesh. At this point Akira and Sora would probably have found their way out here. Once Yuzuki has healed the flesh around Kyumia's wounds, he would use the water he left in her wounds to heal her wings the rest of the way, but in a way so that it seems as though Yuzuki's the one who actually did the healing.Mizuki sighed at Masato's intervention, rolling her blind eyes. Though, the entire time since she lost her blindfold she had been specifically making sure no one could actually see the parts of her face that were covered by the bandages. In her mind it was better to let them think the way her face looked in her demon form was the way they actually looked.
Uninterested in the situation she walked over to the edge of the hill, which was, in fact, the edge of the cliff. The path down the hill was the only way down; the mansion was on top of a huge hill that was more like a mountain. At the front there was a huge cliff-side, but the back was a big open field, with various decorations and stuff that looked like it hadn't been touched in decades. There were obviously dozens of acres in front of the mansion before the town meets the land. Behind the mansion was many more acres, as well; if one were to look, the entire mansion is covered by a massive amount of land, most of which looks untouched for decades.
The wind blew hard against Mizuki as she stood at the edge of the cliff, her hair flowed along with it, the ponytails keeping it up in neat pigtails seeming to be seamlessly slowly flowing out of her hair and into the wind. She simply stood there, though, unmoving as she started getting lost in thought; mostly thinking about her family and the prophecy.
