Coruscant - Infirmary

Locolvictum noticed the guard that walked over, he eyed what Zara was given. But he made no sign of interest or contempt for the guard. "I am Locolvictum, High Lord of the Sith. Head of the division of Alchemy." He said, still smiling, "If you are going to be down here often, then you should learn to get along with me."

What he said was a semi threat depending on how you look at it. But it was meant to be friendly, but also as a warning. "The division has its primary facilities here in the lower levels."

Coruscant - Infirmary

Zara understood the implicit threat in his words, though it seemed to be lost on her. She got along just fine with most people, so long as she was treated with respect. Once that was broken, it didn't matter if you were a High Lord or a Tyro; she wasn't going to idly take abuse from anyone. But so far, this Locolvictum didn't appear the sort to invoke her anger unwarranted. Though she could always be mistaken.
Lay off the mute jokes, and I'm sure we'll get along just fine.
A small smirk graced her lips.
Though... I doubt I want to visit this particular area of your division again anytime soon.
Zara never did well in hospitals. Or anything that involved sitting still and waiting. She was already anxious to leave, ready to appear before the Emperor and apologize for her display, promise that she would train harder, and then go straight to doing that. She couldn't do anything here other than sit on a cot and wait for the medical droid to return with her test results.

Coruscant - Infirmary

"The infirmary?"
Locolvictum said, with a slight glance around. "This isn't mine, this is run by the army." He shrugged his shoulders and pointed towards the door.

"The division is down the hall and to the left." Locolvictum sighed, he felt bored. But he didn't show on his face.

"Well I don't know about you, but I have work to do. The attack in the dungeon probably caused a experiment to shut down. That means we either lost a Gundark or a very expensive prototype."
He said getting up, "I expect that our paths will cross again very soon."

Locolvictum then turned away from Zara and headed out of the infirmary; however, someone joined him before he reached the exit. It was a fully cloaked figure. The cloak was black, and slung across the figure's back was a long sniper rifle. The figure also wore a helmet with a hood over it.

The two of them walked out together without exchanging a single word.

Dxun-the jungles

Croix was traveling through the forest. Running from something. It was days since his last encounter with the Zekkeg. He left it alive but it left and hadn't been seen since. Croix was definitely not looking his greatest anymore either.
Croix had gone days with out sleep and was learning to live of the animals and vegetation the forest had to offer. One interesting thing he came to notice though was that the bugs that had latched to him not only fueled him, but also healed any wounds or problems he may have. With that knowledge, Croix felt invincible!
The thing Croix was running from now though was something new and different. Like a shadow.

Coruscant - Infirmary

Zara remained silent as she watched him leave.
That was a strange encounter. She had thought he said he had something for her, but apparently not. Or maybe it "wasn't important enough" like he said. Then what was his purpose for approaching her? She didn't know.
Whatever.
It probably didn't matter.
Not too long after Lolovictum had left, Zara's results were ready. She had recovered without a hitch and was in good health, aside from her being slightly underweight and anemic. But Zara knew that all of that would go away soon enough now that she was living at the temple and everything was provided for. She didn't have to steal to eat anymore.
Zara tried not to look too eager to leave when the doctor released her, but she was certain that the relief showed all over her face. She took the turbolift up and headed down the halls, making much haste to make up for her delay.

Tython - Aboard the Epoch Wren

Elyria could tell Eliza wasn't overly thrilled with the sudden "Call to Arms'...but she sensed the twi'lek would get into the thick of it after all her sedentary time on Tython...she was too used to adventure! The two woman talked while they waited for Corvin...and perhaps Davth. Eliza told her of her trip to Kalikori while Elyria spoke of her last mission...and gave her the details of the one to come......

Coruscant - Temple ---> Throne Room

Zara moved quickly down the halls of the temple, making no sound at all. Yet her fast pace became noticeably slower as she drew closer to the throne room.
She had not been able to speak with him after the fight due to her passing out, so she had no idea how displeased he was with her. She wondered in her head what her punishment was going to be. Scrubbing the floors of the temple by hand? Re-calibrating all of the combat droids? Such disciplinary measures would be considered mild by the Emperor's standards, so she could only assume that perhaps he may not be so merciful.
But as nervous as she felt about whatever punishment would be enacted, she knew it was far better for her to face him and admit to her mistakes rather than hide with her tail between her legs.
When she approached the massive door to the throne room, the guards already opened it without her having to do anything. Perhaps they had been expecting her for quite some time now.
Zara's eyes adjusted to the darkness as she cautiously took a few steps inside, not daring to come much closer to the throne.
You... wished to see me? she asked, quickly kneeling as soon as she realized she had forgotten to do so as she was addressing him.

Tython - Aboard the Epoch Wren

"Sorry for the delay!" Corvin said, whirling into the cockpit and sliding neatly into the pilots chair. "Had a few things to wrap up before takeoff. What did I miss?"

"Well, after you rushed me to get this bird ready, Elyria showed up, filled me in, and we still had plenty of time to talk about you behind your back. Where's that Togruta I heard you talking to over the com? Is he coming?"

"If he is, he'd better hurry..." Corvin said, looking out the window with a sense of unease. He cast his gaze in the direction of Elyria and wondered if that was his own premonition or if he was reacting to her fears for her mentor.

Elyria looked over at Corvin with a warm smile " you can never tell what that one is up to...he's full of surprises she softly laughed ...but somehow...he gets the job done..if we could give him just a few more minutes...I've no doubt we will need his healing powers...whatever awaits..this is a do or die mission...we are entering the "Belly of the Beast" so to speak..." watching Corvin's face...her brow slightly furrowed "Corvin...are you sure...are you sure you want to do this?..it could... looking at her hands fidgeting in her lap... it could be a suicide mission..... she looked into his eyes..her own creased with worry

Coruscant - Temple ---> Throne Room
You... wished to see me? she asked, quickly kneeling as soon as she realized she had forgotten to do so as she was addressing him.

The Emperor sat quietly on his throne for a moment, contemplating what he wanted to tell her. On the one hand, she had just lost her first battle as a Sith right in front of him, but on the other, she showed such promise. The qualities that finally pushed him to trust her with this mission was that she was resourceful and intelligent, albeit a bit young.

Lord Rahl sat back and gazed out at his throne room before addressing Zara. The beautiful red columns and white marble walls still showed some damage from the recent fight with the Je'daii master Endar. The lush, red carpet covering the main walkway to the dais the throne sat atop was frayed and split in several places. It had taken so long to procure the red-streaked white marble alone, that Aiden knew it would be some time before his throne room was restored to it's previous glory. At least the statues of Darths Validus and Venia remained undamaged.

The Emperor's cloak swished as he made his way down the steps to where his charge awaited. "Rise, my child," he said, hiding his anger at the state of his throne room. He wasn't angry with Zara, he was angry at the Je'daii and didn't want to cause her undue fear. "I hope you have recovered well because I have a highly secret mission for us. Being that you show an aptitude for it, I'm assigning you to the S.I.D (Sith Intelligence Division) as an apprentice and your first mission is to help me infiltrate the Je'daii."

Tython - Aboard the Epoch Wren

Davth was panting as he boarded the Epoch Wren, he had his sack of belongings slung over his shoulder. "Alright...." he paused in an attempt to catch his breath "Lets get underway!" he shouted from the base of the loading ramp. The togruta brought himself to full height, adjusting his belongings on his shoulder he started to make his way to the bridge.

Coruscant -- Throne Room

Zara blinked twice and took a step backwards, unsure if she was hearing him correctly.
Was she being... rewarded? A few hours ago, she had just lost a battle in front of him. Surely he should be reprimanding her for that?
So he had brought her here for reasons completely the opposite of what she had assumed. As confused as she was, she wasn't about to question his decisions.
A promotion! And a secret operation to infiltrate the Je'aii?
Zara was intrigued.
Though she tried to hide her enthusiasm, an eager smirk flashed on her face for a moment before she forced her emotions down and maintained her usual cold, blank-faced demeanor.
I would be honored to assist you in this task. What must I do? she asked, leaning forward slightly as she was interested in learning what this mission entailed.

The emperor smiled as he felt her confusion. Placing his hands on her shoulders, he looked deep into her eyes, "This is not the Sith Empire of old. We may use violence and scare tactics on the masses to keep them in line, but we take care of our own. Like I told you before, we're a family." Gripping her shoulders a little tighter, he added, "Having said that, I still wouldn't make failing a habit if I were you."

Releasing her shoulders, Lord Rahl turned and started walking towards the massive windows behind the dais looking out over a bustling Coruscant. Of course Zara was expected to follow. "As you know, we have a Je'daii captive, but what you may not know is that he is the head of their order. They will do anything to get him back and I will do anything to find out where they're hiding so we can eradicate them once and for all. Your job will be to stage a fake jailbreak, making him think you're unsure the methods of the Sith are right and that you could possibly be converted. Hopefully you can get them to accept you, and have them show you where they are hiding. I have so far been unsuccessful in finding a way to mask my force signature or else I'd accompany you in disguise. For right now, I will be in direct command of a small fleet of destroyers monitoring you from far enough away as not to be easily detected. With your powers of telepathy, you and I should still be able to communicate at that distance. Now we just need to make sure the prisoner is in a state that he doesn't know what's going on until you two are outside the temple walls."

Epoch Wren - Departing Tython

"Looks like we're ready, then!" Corvin announced, and slowly retracted the landing pylons so that the Wren gracefully ascended, pivoted in place, and turned skyward. "You know, I really hate to say this..." Corvin said as the ship broke through the clouds and lifted above the atmosphere, the planet hovering silently them, silently but for the faint sounds of buttons chiming as he input coordinates. "But I've got a bad feeling about this!"

With that he pulled a lever, throwing the vessel into light speed amid a blur of stars.

Coruscant - Throne Room

Zara followed, looking out the same window at the bustling metropolis and flashing lights of the speeders whizzing past.
She nodded as she listened to his instructions, eyebrows raising slightly as he mentioned that the prisoner was the leader of the Je'daii but otherwise saying nothing until he was finished.
Tonight, I will visit the prisoner in his holding cell and bring him food and medical supplies for his injuries, make it seem as if I could get into a lot of trouble for being there. Perhaps... this would be enough to gain at least some of his trust.
It all seemed too easy. But all she could remember was how that man had shown her sympathy while she was assisting in his torture. She hoped gaining his trust wouldn't be much harder.
She wasn't entirely sure what he meant by his last sentence. If he was to be knocked out and unaware of what was going on, how was she to get him out of the temple on her own?
If he is to be unconscious until we leave the temple, I can lace the food with a sedative. But... how am I to get him out of there without anyone noticing?
