I nod with a polite smile as I stand up on two legs and take the basket of food and move it so that I'm holding it against my hip with one hand. "That's a beautifully interesting name," I respond with my smile still. "I'm Desta," I hold out my free hand. "It's nice to meet you."

I fetch myself some wine, and see if there was anyone else who wanted to share food with me. In peticular, I look for Tellat, since we were supposed to be splitting a drink and a meal on the roof before all of this meeting the Cloaks business.

My smile widens when Senythra recognizes where I'm from. "Most definitely," I respond cheerfully and then laugh softly when she addresses Shi'ita. I decide though to allow him to respond to that statement at some point. "Where are you from? If I may ask," I ask in curiosity.

Desta:
Haseem," Senythra replies. "The most diverse of the Great Nations. Even more than Aytig, the conglomerate of city-states founded by the outcasts of the other Great Nations."
She says this almost proudly, as if she was a major player in Haseem. Her words almost seem rehearsed, as if she's been wanting to say them for years.

Jasmine:
"That'd be nice," Tellat says. "But I am hungry...and thirsty...Can we get Sen...Sena...Senai...Can we get her and go to the roof?"
Her tongue is hanging out as she pants a bit.

I fight every urge in me to roll my eyes at her great pride in the place where her "outcasts" even considered me an outcast and simply smile as best I can as I debate whether or not to tell her that I lived there awhile... Knowing that I didn't have the greatest reputation there... "Well, it's definitely an interesting place," I say as I run my hand through my hair a bit nervously, trying to maintain my smile. "So, uh... What did you do in Haseem?" I ask curiously.

I suddenly feel relief when I realize she probably wouldn't recognize my reputation or who I was, but I look to her with a bit of sadness as I realize she didn't even get to have a life like I did, no matter how crappy it was... "I'm sorry..." I say softly. "I lost my family three years ago when the Elexiandre destroyed everything..." I suddenly tense when I grasp the fact that almost no one knew that about me... I was always just the street rat from Aytig...

Shi'ita listens to Senythra, as she seems proud of where she's from, but his expression remains transfixed. "I ... came from Haseem myself." he says after a while. "I ... only had my friend there. But... she... disappeared years ago...and then recently, they took us to Gastil."

Desta & Shi'ita:
Senythra nods solemnly to both stories.
"Well, if you'll excuse me, Jasmine and Tellat will be waiting for me," she says.
She turns and begins to walk away.

Jasmine:
"Yes, a forest would be fun!" Tellat says. "Then we can run around!"

Selphie:
"Actually, I was thinking about that," Zazigh replies. "Eleixandre convoys are necessary for the survival of Gastil, as the Czarists refuse to help them, and if the Eleixandre were to attack the Czarist towns, the Czar himself would lead an army against Gastil, the sheer power of which would crush Gastil within an hour. The whole facility would be leveled like nothing. So we can either crash a convoy, causing Gastil to lose out on weeks' worth of supplies, and possibly cause a chain reaction that would destroy it, or we can appeal to the Czarists for help."
