Embergaze had done it, he had killed the eagle.
Spadestripe couldn't help but feel sense of slight forgiving towards the bird. She glanced to Smokepaw, who had poked his head out of the bush. Despite her earlier orders and the battle still raging on, she motioned for him to come over. Smokepaw obeyed, padding over and sitting next to her, looming over Blade's body.]
"It's over."
[She stated, forgetting of Talon still remaining there. Her mind had been racing, sleep restless, of when Splint's ally would return to kill her or her litter. But now, here he lay. Dead, killed by the claws and fangs of her son's mentor. She stole a sideways glance to the tom.]
Galestar could not have chosen anyone better.
"What happened to the eagle?"
[Spadestripe glanced to her son.]
"He was killed, Smokepaw."
[Smokepaw was silent, staring at the still body of Blade.]
"Why are we near it, then? There's still a fight going on."
"We're going to pray for Blade."
[Smokepaw turned, looking at his mother oddly.]
"What?"
"You heard me. We all have different intentions, but nature and codes bind us all together. We're going to help Blade find his way back to his friend...where they can be together."
[Smokepaw nodded hesitantly.]
"You must pray for every being in nature that does not succeed in survival. It is the way in which we must live...Blade, may you have steady walking, swift flight and endless hunting where you will walk. We bless you on your path to the beyond worlds."
[Spadestripe noticed that Smokepaw mumbled, trying to keep up with what she was saying.]
"I'll teach you the prayer one day..."
[Smokepaw nodded, and the two pressed their noses to the bird at the same time, almost transferring the good hopes of afterlife for the emotionally-scarred eagle.]
[Smokepaw glanced over to the fighting, forgetting of his mother's earlier warnings. He gasped upon seeing Talon going for Reedwhisker.]
"You can't hurt him! Dicefoot wouldn't let you!"
[The newly-apprenticed tom yowled, jumping to his paws and dashing towards the scene. Spadestripe was taken aback.]
"Smokepaw, get back here!"
[She called, getting to her paws.]

His hackles rose, making him look almost as bit as the fox as he crouched down and snarled at him.]
"This is going to be one of the best days of my life, getting a mutt to rip and tear all for myself!"
[A raging gleam of battle lit up his emerald eyes as he charged towards Trot from the side while he was grooming himself. He used his front paws to swipe Trot's back legs from underneath, then lowered his head as he used his forward momentum to headbutt Trot's flank, knocking the fox over onto his back to expose his belly. Without stopping, the ferocious ginger tom nimbly jumped onto the fox's belly to pin him down, opening his jaws and preparing to sink them into the fox's throat.]
(You can dodge it if you want, but it's supposed to knock Trot off balance and flip him onto his back, Eaglesoar using his huge size to his advantage blaugh ) ▂▂▂ ▂▂ ▂ ▂▂ ▂▂▂ ▂▂ ▂ ▂▂ ▂▂▂ ▂▂ ▂ ▂▂ ▂▂▂x x x

[I pouted, sadness and sympathy filling my eyes. I leaned closer to the SeaClan tom, looking up at him forlornly. I may've came across as falling for his lines, but on the inside, I was laughing. Oh, he's so funny! i can't believe he said that! What a line! But I played along anyway, just to entertain myself. Reaching out slowly, I lifted my paw and placed it on his sleek chest, feeling his heart thump against my grey paw]
"I must say I feel the same, dear. Whenever I see someone as handsome as you, I break a little inside"
[I took my paw off, and glanced away, eyes closing, as if I was in actual pain. I wasn't lying when I said he was handsome, and I wasn't going to deny it. He was. Some may say we would make a great pair. Both stunningly attractive, smooth and kind, yet fierce fighters at the same time. But maybe that was why I only thought of Ravenwing as a friend, nothing more. Besides the whole different Clan thing, he was exactly the same as me, vain. But I needed someone to keep me grounded, to remind me the world wasn't all about me. [He muttered into her ear, brushing his nose lightly against her cheek as he moved away with a sorrowful and forlorn expression on his face that just begged for sympathy.
Then, the beasts struck.
Yowls of pain and rage filled the air in a second, and Ravenwing's eyes widened as he realised what was happening. His ears flattened and he hissed at the oncoming snakes, warning them to stay back.]
"Snakes!"
[He gasped in shock and fear, immediately planting himself between Willowheart and the snakes, hissing savagely and warning the snakes to back off. It was a complete change from his previously docile and charming personality. This was Ravenwing the warrior, protecting a she-cat and putting his life on the line.]

[Mosstar's cold shiver filled her body. The sudden sights of beasts caused the elderly leader to panic silently. Snakes, badgers, foxes and eagles, this was the opposite of StarClan.]
It was hell.
[The jet black cat sprang away from the mouse, the mouse scurrying away. All the battles caught Mosstar's attention, not focusing. She regretted that as she bumped into Ravenwing, who seemed to be alarmed by the snakes as well. Mosstar felt like a fool, in the middle of the battle arena.] "My apologies." she apologized briefly, before dashing to the center of the Gathering.
[What happened to peace? What happened to StarClan's desperation of protecting all four clans? Could this be a punishment, symbolizing StarClan's anger? Mosstar simply didn't know, but she saw the irony behind the war. It seems there are more enemies being formed, all four clans simply forgetting that they were suppose to be fighting each other. It seems, they have no choice, but to be allies at the present.]
[Mosstar hissed at a couple of snakes, warning them to back off. One snake slithered back but the other risked the chance of entering the cat's presence. The sight of their scales only made Mosstar shiver more, simply disgusted by their appearance. How much she feared snake, only because they looked like worms to the leader. But that shouldn't be her excuse for backing away from this fight.]
[She unshed her claws, ready to spill the venomous blood. As the snake showed his fearful fangs, charing at the SeaClan leader, it missed. Foolish snake, they might be poisonous but are simply slow against a four legged animal like her. Mosstar laughed in amusement, as she clawed the snake across its scale covered body. The feeling caused Mosstar's fur to stand on its end.]

[Blaze began to shake with frustration as he stared Lavenderstar down. No matter how many times he ripped her throat out, pr tor her to bits she would continue to get back up and defend her warriors. why was she so determined? WHY!? In a fit of rage He lunged at her, snapping his jaws around her neck. Lavenderstar hissed, holding back a pained scream. In return her claws dug deep into his shoulders, burrowing deep into his bone. Both of them refused to let go of each other.] "Why cant you just stay down? You are asking to be killed again!" "NEVER! I refuse to curl up and die! I am Lavenderstar, leader of nightclan! If i even think of surrender i will have dishonored every one of my nightclan warriors who had fallen in battle or ever believed in me. I will not tarnish Nightclan's name just because my life is on the line. My warriors are FAR more important!!" [Blaze snarled in hatred for the black she cat. She spoke as if she had not taken the lives of his family. She spoke as if she was a being of justice.] "SHUT UP! I care less about your warriors and your honor! All I want is my beloved back!! But i can never see them again because of you and your stupid warriors!!" [Blaze threw her to the ground and tor viciously at her. Lavenderstar opened her mouth in a silent scream. She refused to cry out in pain and give Blaze the satisfaction he was looking for.] "I too have lost those i love Blaze, some of them this very night..."
[Trot looked up and smiled. His coat gleamed with a renewed beauty. Suddenly, out of the blue a brute of a cat flew down and tackled him to the ground. Trot gasped as his coat was once again stained with blood. Rage boiled up in side him.] "YOU... MONSTER!!" [Now on his back, the clever fox used all four limbs to knock the tom as hard as possible in the stomach and grabbed the cat by the muzzle with his fangs, his mouth much wider then the cat's. Eagalsoar would have gone flying if it weren't for the death grip he had on his face from the enraged fox.] "Dont ever touch me while i am cleaning my coat! Some of us like being presentable!"
[Dragonfire lept forth for wonder but missed as Wonder ran, quickly turning around to face the she cat.] "Oi! Stop running like a coward and get over here!" "No! You are crazy miss! I dont want you anywhere near me!" [Dragonfire tilted her head.] "no? No one has ever refused a challenge before? What are you scared?" "No, im just smart! Only a fool with a rock for a skull would accept any challenge ever given! Its called common sense, got any?" "No!.. well, yeah! But i also got not backing down in the face of danger, got any of that?" [The two glared at each other, traped in a standstill. Dragonfire was distracted by a horrible scream. She turned to see her sister Pheonixice morning over their fallen warriors.] "Pheonixice!" [In her state of distraction Wonder lept forth, seizing the seaclan warrior by the tail] "What happened to never backing down?" "Let go!"

[As Talon was about to struck Reedwhisker he could hear the distant mew's of a small apprentice. He turned to see Smokepaw rushing towards him. The tyrant grinned darkly as he struck and seized the small cat under his talons.] "Why hello there little one. My how much you have grown. Weren't you one of the new borns Fester was hiding from me? Raven told me all about you, see sees all. I was so sad when i heard that you and your mother went missing, i never got a chance to visit you, that bird brained medicine eagle wouldn't let me. heheheheh" [Talon glared down upon the small cat, noticing some scratches on his back leg.] "Well look what we have here, your first scar! Its kind of small though, i can fix that." [Slowly Talon took one of his claws and traced it along the claw mark, softly at first but slowly increasing pressure.]

[ Songpaw was flung into a bush and was quite dazed.
She lay motionless on the ground... in shock.
She gained conciousness and started to feel her wounds. The apprentice felt pain and something hot trickle down her head.. ]
What is this?!?
[ As soon as the apprentice looked down, she saw a red puddle that she had lay next to. ]
" B-BLOOD!!! "
[ Songpaw yowled. She got onto her feet.. and stood.. scared to do anything else. ]
Is ready for ANYTHING.

[ Cherrydrop looked around where Galestar was. Since she was confused on who to attack first, she headed over to him. ]
[ She charged over to Talon as he was going to attack Smokepaw. ]
" HEY DUNG-BRAIN! You know, you should go attack something your brain level. Maybe that little bug over there! "
[ Cherrydrop flung herself onto the eagle, and attempted to break Smokepaw free by shoving the eagle off the apprentice.]

[Eaglesoar was in a perfect position to end this wretched fox's life, when the fox suddenly kicked him hard in the stomach with all four legs like pistons. He coughed as he felt himself winded, air rushing out of his lungs, when a jawful of sharp teeth clamped around his muzzle, almost unbearably painful. He would have yelped in pain if his muzzle hadn't been clamped shut by the fox's jaws, leaving him dangling helplessly in the air. He tried to scratch at the fox's lips and neck to get him to let go, but nothing worked.
At that moment, he saw Lavenderstar getting torn and ripped at from the corner of his eye. Renewed rage filled his eyes again...
How DARE that wretched fleabag hurt Lavenderstar? HE'LL PAY!!
His lips pulled back into a snarl as he opened his muzzle very slightly and clamped his teeth around Trot's tongue, knowing that it would hurt A LOT.]

[The nightclan leader's words fuiled the hansom fox's ears. She had lost loved ones, but had she lost a mate, or her kits.] "I think NOT! You have not felt the pain i have!" [He bit into her soft underbelly, intending to claim her life once and for all. Lavenderstar bit down on her lip, refusing to cry out, even for help. Her warriors were busy fighting, she did not want to distract them from helping the other warriors. She could feel her life draining, at this point she dint know how many lives of hers had been claimed, starclan probably was beginning to wonder about her pop in hellos.] Give me another chance Starclan. I cant leave them now, not like this... [The Nobel leaders heart stopped, leaving her still body silent. Blaze continued to rip at her, not convinced that she was dead for real.] "Get up you mangy she cat!! I will not fall for this act again!"
[Trot was about to crush the cat's head when a sudden pain shot through his entire body. Screaming he let go of the cat.] "YEAOW!!!! wh dhu du du dahu!!" (why did you do that) [The tod looked to see that his toung was dripping crimson blood. He snarled complaining about how he could no longer clean his precious coat without getting it bloody, bot to those who could hear it sounded nothing like gibberish. He rushed towards the tom in a fit of rage, determined to get his pound of flesh.]

[Talon let out an angry sheik as Cherry drop interrupted his little chat with the apprentice.] "Get off you stupid cat!" [Extending his large wings he threw the she cat off. A pair of eagles blocked her want to the tyrant as they towered over her.] "If you wish to see Talon you will have to go through us, trust us, we are fairly thick. hehe" [The first eagle stomped on Cherrydrop's tail, preventing her escape while the second one readied his talons, wanting to tare her apart.]

[When the fox snarled and started to bark randomly at him, Eaglesoar spared a second to c**k his head to one side, staring at the fox with a quizzical expression. That moment, however, quickly ended as the maddened fox charged towards him, fangs flashing and dangerous. Meeting Trot head on, he charged at the fox and at the very last second he dived to trip the fox so that it would land on its face. Without wasting a moment, he climbed on top of the fallen fox's back, twisting his head around to try and sink his teeth into the fox's throat.
In front of him, the immoving black shape of his leader lay by the fox's paws, still ripping and tearing into his noble leader's body.]
