Feline felt more embarrassed than ever over her previous outburst. She wasn’t anything anymore, she was just a whole lot of nothing and her desperateness to reclaim her old glory days didn’t sit pretty on her at all.

Her eye’s darted from the potion and back to Panda as he sat down in a chair and looked at her acidly.

Holding on to her last shreds of dignity, which was rough to do considering her robe was torn open and she was covered in oil, she looked Panda in the eye and purrrred with a slight growl at the end. “That is my name, if you truly care. Most here have called me Feline, but…” she sighed and looked down again, “Never mind, I guess my actions up until this point haven’t warranted much courtesy from you.”
Glancing at the potion again, she could see the energies settling themselves down. Panda was right, a little time in the moon would set things right.

Feline looked back at Panda when he asked about what she was thinking when she tried to break into his study, “That was the plan,” She paused looking down fiddling with her torn robe, “Not a very good one I suppose, but I wasn’t thinking so clearly when I came up with it.” She laughed half heartedly trying to lighten the mood. Panda did not seem amused.

A soft knock on the door signaled her rescue.

((pretends she got this in before Panda did his.... sweatdrop ))

"Oh. An' my last names Honda." She looked at the girl. "So, 'Lexi, how long ya been playing?"

((Haha okay XD))

"Playing?" She thought a moment. "Oh, you mean the violin, right? Duh!" She smacked herself lightly in the forehead. "Sorry, I'm kinda slow like that sometimes. You mean, just now or how many years total?"

As Coline reached to open the door, Lorika bounded out from her hiding spot and down the corridor towards them, beaming.

"Nice to see you, Captain," she smiled, coming up beside him "And nice to see you again, Coline."

She followed Jessie, who followed Coline, inside through the single door, and her eyes did an automatic appraisal of what the scene in the room from behind Jessie's shoulder. Feline was still in there - goodness! In her tired state she hadn't noticed what a mess the woman was in! Just what had she been doing?

As the couple branched off to the side she caught Panda's eye for the first time. A flash of understanding passed between them, as it had back in the clearing, and her smile couldn't help but widen for him. The man stood up, but before she could do anything else she had to fix dear Feline up. She approached the woman and laid a hand on one of the tears on the shoulder....

[Reparation]

...and every rip was soon repaired, as good as new. She nodded, satisfied, before moving just past her to stand between Panda and the potion cabinet.

...and you will be lonesome.

After everyone was ushered inside of his study again, panda gave a sigh. " so what is it....that you all wanted?" He said uncomfortably, grabbing the potion from the table and holding it in his hands. " I assume that the reason must be important, or most of you wouldn't be here." he said, glancing at lorika as she smiled, feeling a bit better.

((ill take that as a 'he's still passed out on the beach' Lorika))

The feeling of being dragged was past; as were all other sensations besides the pounding of his head. man...what happened...is this what a hangover feels like? Xeiashi thought randomly before he recalled. Oh yeah...the crash...the cramps...god those hurt now...Best see where I'm at, no? he slowly thought as he pushed past his mind-blowing pain to find his muscle control. first...one... he thought as he cracked open a salt-encrusted eye.

"AAAH! ITS BURNS!!!" he shouted as his eye exploded into pain. Before the echoes faded he was sitting up, albet unsteadily, and cleaning the salt from his eyes. That finished, his mind went back to its previous subject; the aftereffects of his cramp. "Gah...knew it" he murmered as he pulled himself to a crouch, then later pushed himself up. After a moment's heavy breathing to recover from the worst of the aches, he slowly turned around to find an obviously manmade structure. "Better than nothin..." he muttered to nobody as he began the slow, painful walk to the building.

While he walked, he became preoccupied with the loss of his precious book...to heck with his raft. Needless to say, he was quite content with shambling along as he mourned the loss of his signed copy of 'Pendragon 10: the Soldiers of Halla'. ((good book actually)) This was interrupted by a step, followed quickly by a fall and then another mild concussion.

"Urg...not...again..." he gasped past the pain, newly renewed. It, thankfully, left within minutes; soon Xeiashi had climbed the stairs and was roaming aimlessly through the halls, looking for somebody...anybody... He risked a short call, as his throat was burning from residual saltwater, "Haaallooooo?" This was tailed by a fit of coughing and hacking more audible than the shout.

((note: Xeiashi has, somehow, managed to avoid notice thus far...or rather he's too preoccupied to notice any voices or people...Actually, I'm just too lazy to remember who was in the vicinity of the main door))

Coline threw a quick glance over to the winged woman... creature inside the room, wary of her presence. She had only intended on disclosing this information to the Order's leaders, but she supposed it would only be a matter of time before everyone was informed; it wouldn't make that much of a difference if she heard of it now.

Taking a few paces forward the recruit lowered herself to a bow. "I'm here to report my findings." she began, slowly raising her head as she straightened herself. "I've already told the Professor and the Priestess this much, but the boy--Bapp was his name--fell into a deep pit inside a well-hidden cave at the western portion of the Isle. I was there when it happened, and from what I've gathered the ground from underneath his feet gave in, and that was what ushered the fall."

"With the Professor's help I was able to lower myself down into the pit in order to retrieve Bapp's body, but..." Her expression started to shift into one of discomfort. How was she supposed to explain something like this? "...but it wasn't there."

((*wonders what Feline would do without the High Priestess constantly fixing her up in one way or another* lol!!!!!))

User Image
Feline was forever grateful for the attention being taken off of her again. She was even more grateful for the kind gesture of the High Priestess putting her and her robes back to right.

The girl that was there when she had been caught was back again accompanied by the intimidating weapons instructor that Feline had often seen drilling students while she was flying around the temple complex. He seemed just as out of place in this Order as she did, visually wise that is, but they all seemed to easily accept him as their own.

The girl gave a wary glance her way. Feline was tired of not being trusted, but had to admit that she had done little today to earn the trust of people dedicated to this order. She hoped that she could change that, especially since she didn't think she'd be finding a way home very soon....if at all.
As the girl gave her report, Feline involuntarily cried out, "Bapp?!?", She then quickly covered her mouth and tried to fade into the background, "That poor boy." She whispered.

The last image she had of him was valiantly hanging on to the anchor of the boat as they were being driven back to the beach. She couldn't remember much after that...

The leaders - all three - exchanged glances.

"Is that true, Panda?" Lorika ventured, turning her body towards him in concern, hands clasped.

"I know this boy," Jessie said, stepping up beside Coline "He's... well. I suppose I can't make any sort of judgement of character. Coline, was there any sort of marking on the rocks? Any sign that he'd been there? Did the cave continue further past the drop point?"

"Jessie, don't interrogate her," the Priestess chastised "The poor girl has been through enough already today."

Jessie stiffened, his hand brushing against the girl's. "I am not interrogating. I'm trying to piece together what could have happened, to formulate a plan of action. And Coline doesn't mind," he finished - abruptly, but with a certain soft inflection.

"Or so you hope," Lorika replied sternly, indignant "Which reminds me! Where were you this morning when the Order was in chaos? In case you have not heard, I was assaulted in my bedchamber by a man who waltzed in off the street! What's the matter with you, Jessie? Don't we have any guards posted?"

"I was looking for Coline!" he answered, staring at her as if she'd lost her mind, but matching her aggression in tone.

She took a few steps forward, her eyes accusing, the flash of anger that had sparked inside her consuming her. "A missing recruit, no matter how valuable to you, is no excuse to go running off when the Order has fallen apart - when it needs protection more than ever; a figure present to keep things in check."

"Panda is perfectly capable of that," he answered coldly, glaring at her now. "I have other duties outside of the Order's concerns. Why should I be the one expected to-"

"Oh, you're right," she cried, throwing her hands up, a twinkle of spite in her eye "I completely forgot. The famous Captain Jessie Hawk, untouchable. Certainly now, anyway."

She advanced on him, undeterred by his horrified gaze - matching it with the ferocity of her own emotion. "You are bound to us for three more months, Captain, and shirking your duties is no way to keep your favour with the authorities."

Jessie's face seemed to have turned to stone during her little speech. Even his strands of loose hair seemed to be shocked into immobility.

"You seem to have overlooked the fact," he replied, voice low and even but through lips that were barely more than a tight line. "That performing the duties of a bouncer is not part of my job description, and that the Temple was no less protected today than on any regular day of the week, with nothing but a wilting flower to keep things from falling apart. You can't even keep yourself from falling apart. I don't know how you expect things to run smoothly for the rest of your charges."

Lorika's face turned bright red. She wanted to stop this now - things were going too far, she knew. But this is a woman whose emotions keep the reins. She would cry later for his breach of confidence, just as he now felt her betrayal tenfold on the matter of his contract, but for now she could do nothing but stay along for the ride as rage and indignation bubbled within. "Why you pompous-!"
