Garin pulled the knife out of the man's chest, and wiped it off on the corpse's clothes. Then he walked over to pick out his bow and put it back on his back. He was trying to calm himself so that his vampire features would go away.

Aquaria watched Garin silently, still crying. "Garin...so..sorry," she managed to choke out before collapsing onto the ground.

Garin looked back to her when he heard her fall. He may have appeared angry, but he was really scared out of his mind. He ran over to her and flipped her onto her back. He panickedly checked her pulse to made sure she still had one.

Aquaria felt Garin pick her up, but she was far too weak to say anything. She hated to worry him, but she had to conserve her strength. Her body went limp, though she remained conscious, for now.

Finding that there was nothing obviously wrong with her, Garin lifted her up in his arms and began to walk back to the hotel room with her. She would have been able to feel him shaking. Once they got inside the room, Garin carefully placed her on the bed and put her knife on the table next to her.

Aquaria ignored the pain of the wounds left from her wings and tried to sleep. As she drifted off, she heard someone saying "Never again! Are you trying to kill us both?" Aquaria recongnized the voice, but she could tell it wasn't Garin talking.

Once Aquaria was settled, Garin walked over to a chair and sat down while he waited for Aquaria to recover.

Aquaria found that she could not sleep and tried to roll over to hide the fact that she was crying again.

Garin could smell tears and looked over to Aquaria. He silently stood up and moved to the bed. He reached out to gently pet her hair.

"Shh.." Garin tried to soothe her. He just wanted for her to get better. He sat down next to her and continued to pet her hair.

"Aquaria, I'll only be upset if you don't rest. Now please," Garin murmured to her.

"But you-I could have-done it myself," Aquaria insisted, stronger now. Suddenly she remembered Garin's injury. "Your shoulder...?"

"Yeah, it's got a hole in it," Garin said, like it didn't bother him at all.
