Xi' followed Takara into the inn and watched the elderly gentleman come out and speak to them, then say he was the only one that worked there. After that, Takara handed him the key and Xi' examined it for a moment. Handing it to the clerk, he was a little puzzled why Takara had handed it to him in the first place. "Sir, where were you earlier, when this lady checked in?," he asked the old gentleman calmly, hoping to get some answers.

As he climbed an abandoned foundry, Jian looked out into the distance, sniffing out Runa's scent. Though he had trouble of finding it at first, he quickly locked onto it. "Glad I was always the better tracker..." Darting off in a blaze, he steadily moved out; leaping from building to building. Holding Kang's spear tightly in his grasp, he felt its powers coarsing throughout him. "Ah...So this is why his father gave it to him at such a young age...and no wounder I was not able to defeat him so...Well, no matter...What matters now is my new mission...saving his damn wife..."

I looked out and though I still didn't cry, my heart was weeping. I wanted Kang and no one else. I was worried about him, more so than for me. I just wanted to see him again....he is the most important thing in my life. I looked off to the wall. And looked up as I heard footsteps and saw the men came back. I sat there as one found my daggar and began to yell at me. I watched as another tied a piece of cloth around my mouth gagging me. The leader came up to me and grabbed my hair, my hair ribbon fell out as he began slaming my head back into the pole several times before pulling my hair so hard I was straining onto my knees. "I don't know how you did it, but you called your friends here, cause they are back", he said and slammed my head into the pole one last time before he released me and I fell back to the floor. I looked up at them my eyes half closed, Takara.....

"Hm..." As he pearched upon a tall smokestack, Jian gazed down upon a small building; eyes squinting due to the sun. "...Seems to be the right place, I suppose...No other choice...but to make a scene...Oh well...Never truly had a thing for subtlety."
Leaping his way down, Jian eventually made it to the bottom of the ground; rolling his neck about. Staring heavily upon the old building, he ruffled his brow, unsure of what this strange feeling he suddenly got. "Er...I don't like this...Something tells me not to go in here...Whatever...It is none of my concern..."

Then, without a second thought to the matter, he took the spear and thrusted it through the lock, swiftly following up with a strong kick.
The wood splintering into pieces, two men quickly rose to their feet; grabbing their swords in hand.
"Who the f**k are you!?!" One cried out; startled by the sudden uproar.
Another man furiously shouted out, "You're gonna pay for that, demon!!"
"Humans talk too much!!" Without a care in the world, he immediately lunged the spear forward once more, piercing the vulgar man through his chest. "Heh..."
The corpse still upon his spear, he then stabbed the blade into the ground, vaulting into the air. In doing so, He then instantly slid down, knocking the other man's feet from underneath him.
As the man fell towards the ground, Jian raised his hand into the air; claws fully extended. Instantly, his claws tore through his flesh; piercing directly through his spinal cord and out his stomach.
Tossing the limp body aside, Jian licked his fingers, drinking in the blood, but quickly spitting it back out. "Nasty...Tainted and impure..."
Looking around, he began to notice something. These two men were within uniform. They were also neatly dressed and they didn't look anything like bandits. He then began to look around the room. There were captive cells, in the way back, and several desks about. It was that exact moment when it occurred to him. "Oh, sh*t! This is the police station!"

I let out a moan unheard by all with the gag in my mounth. I looked around as if in a daze. "What should we do with her, her friends will be here soon", one of the guys said. "Teach her a lesson", the leader said, "But we let it be done in a slow and painful way. Senju, you have the poisen darts...". "Yes sir, here", he said tossing one to the leader. I watched him smile wickedly down at me, "Now anyone can find you, and it won't matter", he said and stuck the needle into my arm. I flinched and watched as he stood up and backed away. "Don't worry it will take some time to kill you, no one will ever know about it and you having a concession at its best won't remember it....bye", with that the men got up and left. I let my head fall forward, I was so out of it. My head was spinning, what had just happened....poisen....had they poisened me? I was confused as I sat there trying to recall but stopped thinking about it and looked off into space, my eyes remained glazed.

Takara couldnt stay there any longer, she ran out of the building while Xi was waiting for the clerk to explain what was going on. She stood out there looking around to try her best to sence where Runa was.
"Ugh, I know you are in trouble Runa, please call out give me a sign or something so I can find you." she whispered to herself for she was feeling guilty about leaving her this morning.."if anything happens to you, Runa, I'll never forgive myself."

Quickly igniting the entire station on fire, Jian immediately lungd out as the building was engulfed by raging flames. "Damn it...I can't believe that I spent all this time, wasting it on useless prey...Gah!! Where are you, Runa!?"
Bolting through the city, he quickly locked back onto the scent of Runa's. "Ah...This seems right...This time...Hope so, at least...No matter..." As he came to a halt, he suddenly came upon a little Inn. "Huh...Better this time not to just kill..."
Walking around to the back, he found a small wooden door. A basement door. "Well...Only one way to find out..." With that, Jian reached out and ripped the door off of its hinges.

I looked up my eyes coming back into focuse, "What was that", I tried to say but it sounded more like, "Mfffmfmfmff". I closed my eyes, Takara, help please....if they're back again.....please come and find me, I called out to her again. I was postitioned so I couldn't see the doors, but it didn't matter I could tell it wasn't Takara or anyone else that could help me, I knew though it was someone I knew but I was too tired to try to figure out who so I waited for him to walk into my line of vision.

"I had to leave for a few minutes to take care of business. It's odd that anyone would want to impersonate a clerk working here, odd indeed," the old man replied to Xi'. Xi' could tell he was telling the truth, but was puzzled about the same thing. Reaching into the bag on his waist, he pulled out a couple gold coins and tossed them on the counter. "Here, for your time," he said, the old man looked down at them and looked back at him. "Thank you, sir," the old man said to him, smiling.
Xi' nodded, then turned around saying, "Takar..", but he then noticed she had already walked outside and was gone.

MistyRose As I was standing out there, I sensed Runa calling out to me. I quickly ran out to the back end of the building and as I did this I thought I saw Kang, but how can that be for he was back in the desert with the others. "Runa, Im coming!!!" I yelled out and ran to the once closed basement door.
Remembering Kang's skills, he then placed a hand upon the blade of the spear. Quickly, he heated the blade so it glowed with a fiery blaze. Searching around the basement, he moved about with extreme caution.

Looking inside the basement I could tell that something indeed was wrong in there. "Runa are you in there?" I shouted as I carefully took a step down.

I could hear Takara, I smiled and began trying to call to her, "Mffffmff mfmfmf", was all that could be heard. I started moving around a bit too. I looked at the pole behind me, I remembered the noise it had made when my head was banged against it. I closed my eyes, oh well, i have to be found......a little pain is nothing, right...I then smacked my back against the pole. As noise rang out through the basement so did my head ring. I laid back against the pole. Ow....I thought.
