"Not if I promised you he wouldn't. Yoru, I went without anyone in my life for seven years. How stubborn do you think I could be when I believe I'm right?" he smiled softly and pulled back to look Yoru in the eye, arms still around him. "I promise you, I would find a way to do things for you."

"That is not necessary. I cannot even say for sure if he could come back and take over. It is like I said before. I have to find out first and it may take years."

Nathan kissed the top of his head, then moved back and took his hand. "Shall we go back to mine and start packing again?"
Then he frowned. "Yoru... if Mao came back and we were in your flat... would he know it was yours?"

Then he glanced at his hand as it twinged at him. "Guess an ice pack or something would be be-"
"Are you coming to see me, or not? I will not wait forever, Nathan, and if you do not care then you will not be given a choice!"
The voice snapped in his mind, making him sigh.
"Looks like I'm being summoned. If you go home I'll fly to meet with him and agree to the Training Program..." Nathan murmured, kissing Yoru's forehead. "So you want to meet me at my home - though please do feed yourself if I happen to take a long time to get back."

Nathan left the shop and went outside so he could fly in secret, out of sight of humans. The 'meeting' took a couple of hours, wherein Nathan's reflexes were tested. He barely passed muster, but was told he'd be picked up at dawn the next morning.
He appeared in his flat with bruises just forming on his face. "I'm back..."

"I will be picked up at dawn... they did not mention whether or not they know that I'll be moving into yours by then. I am apparently a little slow and hesitant..." he shrugged, going to Yoru and holding him. He smiled as he winced: the other man's chest was pressing into a bruise or two. "Are you alright?"

"Why do you ask? Do I look like I am not?" Yoru seemed only like his normal self. Indifferent about most things. He tended to speak in a monotone voice that was suiting for a man such as himself.
