Naminé
Miss Memory Witch

User Image

Naminé was still in shock that Hikari had to go through something so... horrible. The petite blonde felt a bit bad for being rude to her in the beginning but then again Hikari had fought against them but she was able to come back. Just without the Darkness that had tainted her for so long. The Memory Witch-turned-ghost turned to look at Lakayna when the Dragoness informed them that someone else was approaching. Who? Naminé looked around but the darkness of the night made it difficult to see anyone. Besides, Jack had went to greet the person. Wait... now that she could see the figure... pink hair... "Marluxia?" Naminé gasped, her eyes widening as she took an involnutary step back. She stood stuck still, even when Marluxia spoke to her and Roxas and Axel. She couldn't answer him.

Lakayna struck up a conversation with him and Jack boldly told him what he believed Marluxia needed to do. Naminé jumped when she heard Sora's voice, she hadn't been aware that he'd made his way over to her. Her hand fell to her side and she looked at the spiyk brunette as he asked her who that guy was and to just give him a quick recap of what he'd forgotten at Castle Oblivion. "Th-that man is Marluxia." She told the brunette, her eyes flickering between Sora and her old Master. "He was Master over Castle Oblivion, and a member of Organization XIII. He was... my Master while I was at the Castle." Naminé said quietly, her eyes lowering to the ground before she looked back up at Sora. "He was the one who ordered me to mess with your memories and I did. To please him and because I was lonely. I'm sorry, Sora. But in the end, you defeated him. You... killed him."

Kairi

Princess of Heart

Kairi tensed up a little when Lakayna stated that someone else was approaching. Who could it be this time? The Princess, who was still holding Ari's hand, wondered if the brunette felt her tension. Jack said he'd see who it was, and he and Zero walked off. A moment later the crimsonette saw a pink haired man walking towards them. Who was he? He addressed Roxas, Axel, and Naminé asking them why they were here. Lakayna walked towards him, arms crossed, and asked him what he wanted. The Dragoness had called him Marluxia, so she either knew him or she had seen him in someone's past. Marluxia said something about "The Organization" so Kairi figured he must have been part of Organization XIII, a bad guy. Naminé's reaction confirmed that. Her Other took a step back and seemed frightened. Naminé, are you okay? Kairi asked her Nobody. The Princess grew worried. That man must have done something to Naminé.
The red head was right. Kairi heard as Sora came up next to the petite blonde, and heard her explain. Naminé told the brunette that Marluxia was the one who ordered her to mess with Sora's memories, but in the end Sora defeated him. Kairi felt sad. Poor Naminé was all alone and ordered to something like that. It must have been hard. But what Naminé and Sora had said also got Kairi thinking. Sora said he had forgotten. Is what had happen in this Castle Oblivion the reason she had forgotten Sora? Kairi remembered being alone on the islands and could remember Riku as clearly as if he was right there with her, and oh how she wished that was true. But Sora... At first she could see him as clearly as Riku. But after a bit his face, then his voice, faded away. She couldn't remember him at all, and the Princess was mad and sad at herself for not being able to. But even if she didn't remember him she still knew him, and wasn't going to give up. And just as she had slowly forgotten, Kairi slowly remembered again. That's when she heard Roxas for the first time, and heard Sora again. He sure didn't sound happy when he heard Kairi had forgotten his name. Thinking back now, the crimsonette was glad that Sora didn't know what else she didn't remember, because he would have been even more mad. But if it wasn't her fault for forgetting then the Keybearer couldn't be too upset with her. Kairi pulled herself out of her thoughts and sighed. There was still so much she didn't know.

We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

User ImageMarluxia sighed, then tried to talk to them each in turn. "You have the answers. The others, as far as I know, are still dead. Where would I get them?" He answered, then turned from Jack. "Namine, I did own you, but in the end that was no feat." he replied to Namine warily. "I Was killed by Sora, wasn't I? Yet....I'm not dead, and Sora doesn't remember.. But I know it." He said, and then clutched his head. "It hurts..." he said, and dropped to his knees. "HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?" He shouted at them. "WHY AM I HERE?" He had so, so many questions. And no answers. Each one that he had managed to get fulfilled, like was there more, or where he was, greater and greater questions seemed to pop up. He thought about interrogating them, but had no chance with their numbers alone, aside the fact that Sora had already murdered him once, and would surely do it again. And what would he do next? That was perhaps the greatest mystery. He had no future, no one to answer to, and no missions or anything. So how would he, the bad guy, do now? Axel and them, at least they were accepted. They had friends. Namine said that SHE was lonely, but who here really was?

Lakayna took a step back, barely surpressing a threatening growl she felt rising in her throat. "Will you relax?" she said firmly. Still, Lakayna couldn't help but be on the defensive. Marluxia seemed unpredictable, and if he tried anything Lakayna wouldn't hesitate to attack.

Sora’s brow furrowed slightly as Naminé explained to him that Marluxia was the master of Castle Oblivion, and had been the one that had commanded her to wipe his memory. He didn’t hold that against her one bit, though he was a little upset that his memory of that adventure had never been replaced. But he knew the girl was busy with other things, so he wasn’t going to demand it back. Just as long as she told him what he needed to know when he needed to know it, like right now. He glanced over at the pinkette as Naminé continued to explain the past. She stated that he’d killed the Organization member, which didn’t surprise him at first. He’d kind of figured that either he or Riku had gotten rid of him at some point. But then he put together that he was a mere thirty feet away from someone he’d killed. That made him swallow hard. Great, this wouldn’t end well.
”Thanks, Naminé,” he told her, still not looking at her. He didn’t trust Marluxia at all, now knowing what he’d done. The man could do anything at any second, which he proved to be correct just then.

Jack stared at the pinkette incredulously as he told him that he did in fact have the answers. Jack just shook his head. The man was mental to believe that he knew a thing. The skeleton just knew about Halloween and Christmas, and a couple things about Sora and his travels. That was it. So he personally didn’t know anything about Marluxia. It was apparent the others knew, but this wasn’t the time for that. However, Jack was actually slightly startled when Marluxia started shouting his questions.
”Well, throwing a tantrum won’t solve anyth--” Jack began, but was interrupted by Sora storming to his side. His Keyblade was out. So, he was an enemy. He’d guessed as much from Lakayna’s reaction and Naminé’s frightened expression when she’d seen him. But why?
”Look,” Sora began, his voice tense, ”I don’t know what’s going on or why any of you Nobodies are back here, so don’t even try to get answers out of us. So leave.” He knew he was being harsh, but he also knew that Naminé was horrified by the Organization member. Besides, the safety of his friends were at stake, and he wasn’t going to risk it. If Marluxia had been the master of Castle Oblivion, he had to be strong. So having him lurking in the shadows was really dangerous. Sora’d rather be rude than stupid.

User ImageMarly growled. Now that wasn't that kind. Even he had murdered, but right now he was in no mood to do so. He didn't know what he was in the mood to do in the first place. His objectives were unclear to even himself now. "I can't leave. Where would I go? Castle Oblivion is destroyed, and there is no place in any of the worlds for us Nobodies. And there never will be. Am I'm no master of anything, except maybe my garden. If you must know, that was Superior who ruled us like his pet abominations. Is there nothing I can say to get you to trust me?" He asked, desperately.

Sora heard Marluxia’s growl and tensed up. He was half expecting him to attack, since he already had more than enough against him. But he didn’t, just glared at him. The pinkette then stated that he had no where to go. Wasn’t that always the case with Nobodies? But Roxas, Naminé, and Axel had all found a place. Even Alexander had, even if his only real friend was Hikari. There was no way in Hades that Sora was going to let Marluxia join their crowd, though. He didn’t remember, but he knew he’d done nothing bad dark things to Naminé and himself. He wished that he had those memories so he’d know what to look out for, but he’d just have to rely on what he knew about Nobodies and Organization XIII for now.
”Then go find someplace,” he remarked, still not budging an inch from where he stood. ”Just not here. I may not remember what you did, but the others do. And we don’t want to have to deal with you again.” Again, harsh. But necessary. He wasn’t going to take any chances.

Jack watched the exchange between Sora and Marluxia. It was obvious there was a lot of tension between the two. Well, it was apparent the man was like the villains Sora had dealt with before, and if what they were saying was correct, then they’d fought before too. So of course there’d be tension. But Jack wasn’t worried. Despite the fact that the Keyblade Master had his weapon out, he didn’t expect a fight to break out. He had to assume that Marluxia wasn’t crazy enough to think that he’d come out of a fight well when there were about seven people against him. He didn’t doubt the man had power, since almost all villains seemed to, but he knew the odds of him starting a losing battle were slim. So he just turned to Zero and whispered to him.
”Go to the town and tell the mayor that we’ll be on our way with this year’s Halloween soon!” he instructed. Even in this situation, he had to remember his job. The Transpooker had been found, so Halloween would be saved. And maybe that was why everyone was in such a foul mood. So if he could fix it by cheering up the town’s folk, then maybe the group around him would brighten up too, along with the rest of the universe. It was at least worth a shot.

"Look. I know I'm not wanted here. If I was able to find someplace, I would have found one before all this mess. And if I wanted to kill, I'd have done it before I was noticed, and especially not with the lot of you." he said sadly. "That's why I tried to take over the Organization. I'm no pawn, and I just wanted...peace. Do you think I like to kill? That I take joy in it? I did that because I was forced to. Because I had no choice." he said to Sora. "If it makes it easier, then do what you wish." he said, and a few rose petals swirled under a sulky finger, just absently moving to his wishes. There were not enough to attack, and he had no desire to anyway. He had just came back, why tempt the rage of the boy, and lose himself again?

Lakayna hised danherously. "Don't you dare lie," she warned the pinkette, her eyes flashing draconic again, but this time staying that way (at least for the moment), "You chose to join the organization and when you were sent to search through castle oblivion, it was your choice to betray and try to take it over. And don't give us the ;you really don't like to kill' crap. You wouldn't've earned the nickname you gained within your organization if you didn't like to kill."

Sora raised a brow at Marluxia as he began to explain himself. It made enough sense to him, but something bothered him. The man was showing “emotion” in his voice, which was supposed to be impossible. Although this puzzled him, he didn’t dwell on it. He remembered back in the day when Demyx had tried to convince him that Nobodies had hearts, which was ridiculous. He didn’t discriminate against them because of that, only of the ones that tried to kill him and his friends. So Marluxia fell onto his bad side. He kept his Keyblade in hand but managed to cross his arms over his chest loosely, so that he could ready himself for a fight if need be. Lakayna spoke out and told him not to lie, because his name suggested that he liked to kill. He really wished he could remember what that meant.
”I’m just saying, we don’t trust you, so if you want there to really be peace, you’d leave and leave us alone,” he added. He didn’t really believe a word that Marluxia said (of course, he had no reason to) and didn’t doubt that if they turned their back on him for one second that he’d ambush them with hundreds of lower Nobodies or just try to kill someone. So he kept his eye on the Nobody, waiting for him to open a Corridor of Darkness or something so that he’d leave.

Jack, meanwhile, watched after Zero as the ghost dog flew off to town. It was much easier for Zero to get around Halloween Town because he could fly and he was a ghost. So instead of having to ride on a lift or hop over a wall, he just flew up or through things. So he was back in the main town in no time flat. The scene there was bad, however. The citizens were moping around, arguing about where Jack Skellington could possibly be. Many of the citizens were giving the mayor a hard time because he was supposed to be in charge.
”Don’t blame me!” the two-faced man was saying, his sad face speaking. ”I’m only an elected official! I don’t know what’s happened! I’m sure Jack will be back soon-- Zero!” The dog barked in return and zoomed over to the short man. ”Where’s Jack? Has he found whatever it is he was looking for?” The dog nodded, making the mayor’s face turn to its happy side. ”Wonderful! But… um… where is he?” Zero barked a couple times, then nodded in the direction of the graveyard. The mayor nodded, then pulled out his megaphone. ”Attention everyone! Everyone, your attention please! Good news! Jack will be returning shortly with this year’s surprise!” The citizens roared with excitement. The mayor then turned to the ghost dog and told him to tell Jack to hurry. The citizens were very restless and surely the rest of the worlds were as well. The group needed to hurry if Halloween was to be saved.

User Image"Hey. I have no power over my nicknames. If I called you 'ugly hag' it wouldn't make it any more true, would it? Just because I'm graceful at something, doesn't make me like it any more than it did before I was called it. And it needed to be overthrown, with what it was doing. You should know. AXEL should know. And Jack, I thought you had something to attend to. Remember?" he said, and played now with a small Dalia growing where he sat. He admired it's silky petals, it's beautiful look, the pigment... Anyways, it was better to look at the flower to the face that he knew had rightfully killed him.

"Yeah, sure, whatever," the lavendernette said with a shrug of indifference. She turned away with her arms crossed and her eyes returning to normal. Lakayna still wasn't convinced, but what could she do now. She was going to walk back over to Hikari, but she paused first looking over her shoulder back at Marluxia. "If you try anything funny, or try to hurt any of my friends, I won't hesitate to...put you out of misery myself before Sora or anyone else has a chance to," her voice lowered so only Marluxia and probably Sora could hear, "Consider it a friendly warning from a dragon."

Without waiting for anything to be said after that statement, Lakayna returned to Hikari and the others.

Kairi asked Naminé if she was okay and the petite blonde managed to look over at the crimsonette and give her a weak, reassuring smile. "Yes, I'm alright." She told her Somebody, trying to keep her fear surpressed so Kairi wouldn't be able to feel it through the bond. Marluxia looked in her direction and Naminé dropped her eyes, lowering them to the ground out of sheer habit. And then she remembered that she didn't have to do so any longer. The pinkette agreed that he had owned her but in the end it was no feat as he'd been killed by Sora. The man threw a temper tantrum, causing Naminé to step back again. His 'moods' could change on a whim. But... now could he really feel? It sounded like that. Lakayna and Jack told him to calm down pretty much. Sora thanked her for telling him what was going on and Naminé nodded. "One day, when everything is through with for a time being, I'll return your memories of Castle Oblivion. I promise." She told the spiky brunette and then Sora left her and headed towards Marluxia, his Keyblade out. He and the ex-Organization Member tallied words against one another on the subject of Marluxia leaving.

Marluxia began to play with a flower that had grown on the ground as he continued to talk to Lakayna and Sora who were still suspicious of him. Naminé was as well... but still. If they left him here alone there was no telling what Marluxia would do to this World. After a few more words to Lakayna, threatening him about harming any of her friends she returned to Hikari and the others. Naminé moved from the group, over to Sora and she put a hand on his arm. "We found the transpooker. If we want there to be a Halloween, we've got to get back to the citizens with the device. Take everyone back. I'll take care of Marluxia." The petite blonde said quietly, her eyes on the pinkette before her. She was telling all of her friends to leave while she stayed behind with her former master. Looking from Marluxia to Sora, her crystaline eyes told him it would be unwise to argue with her.

Sora just glared at Marluxia as he went on and on about not being a killer. He didn’t believe that for a second. He knew that the only reason Marluxia would want to overthrow the Organization would be for his own benefit, which probably involved power of some sort. So he wasn’t going to even respond to that ludicrous statement. He just rolled his eyes and listened as Lakayna threatened the man before returning to Hikari and the others.
”It would just make it a lot easier on you if you left,” he told the Nobody. ”What she said is true, and I can promise you the same thing. So leave my friends alone.” He was going to add that he needed to leave Naminé alone specifically, since he knew how much he scared her. However, before he could get out a word, a barking echoed through the area. He turned for a moment to see that Zero had come back, and Jack whistled to get the dog’s attention. The dog yipped some more and spun in circles, and the Pumpkin King’s face brightened.
”Come along everyone!” he told the group. ”Now that we’ve gotten the Transpooker back, we must save Halloween. Shock, Lock, Barrel, you would like to join us, no doubt?” Sora was rather relieved that he’d decided to include them. They weren’t really bad kids, just when Oogie Boogie was around, which he wasn’t.

Sora was going to let them go off -- seeing as Jack was already leading everyone to the lift -- and he would deal with Marluxia personally. There was no way he was going to leave him unattended, or else who knew what would become of the world. Then a tender hand grasped his arm. He half-expected it to be Kairi, but to his surprise it was Naminé. She’d come up this close to Marluxia? The brunette shifted himself slightly to put him more between the two Nobodies. Naminé told him that he should take everyone back with Jack and that she would deal with Marluxia. He stared at her for a couple moments, the severity in her expression almost convincing him to do just that. But he knew Riku and Roxas would never let him live it down if he let her stay on her own. He knew full-well that she’d probably hate him for this, but he shook his head.
”No way,” he told her firmly. ”I’m glad you want to stand up for yourself and all, but it’s way too dangerous to do on your own. I’m staying. Jack can handle Halloween.” He could almost imagine what her face was going to look like, glaring at him with frustration. So he didn’t look at her and turned back to Marluxia. He had to focus for the sake of everyone’s holiday, and now for Naminé’s safety.
