If I threw down the moon on someone who RPs here do you think they'd dodge it or adapt around it?

Adapt. Personally, I'd blow up the moon! Or just whip out my shikai and liquify it.

Damn. I was hoping to throw the Moon at someone at some point because that'd be awesome.
Also Gravitational Pull. That's going to rip everyone apart long before the moon actually even hits.

Actually, physics says that the earth's atmosphere and own gravity would rip apart the moon. The moon's gravity would simply counteract earths own.
I dunno if you know but I am sure you do, the earth HOLDS the moon in place using its gravity. The moons gravity simply repels itself from earth creating a near dead lock of opposing forces biggrin

So I could still rain down meteors....This is most pleasing.
I plan on throwing down an asteroid rather than the Moon now on regular ocassions.

Pharao is right. But actually, in order to pull down the moon into a specific location on Earth, you would have to oppose the entire Earth's gravitational force, and not the Moon's - or whatever other celestial object for that matter. As soon as the object would leave its geostationary orbit around the Earth, the planet would force him to "walk around" in circles before crashing down, so the point of impact would probably be in the other side of the planet, and also, it would take several hours to impact. To counter this effect, you would have to counter the Earth's gravitational field - a godmodly power if you ask me.
As for pulling an asteroid, the nearest place in the Solar System with asteroids is the Asteroid Belt between Mars and Jupiter. That's insanely far away, so for a character to be able to pull one in, would also require a godmodly power. Sorry, I think that ability is not acceptable.

Godmodding = Having Insanely Fun Powers?
Come on man you gotta admit it'd be good fun to pull down a asteroid on someone and smash it into em even if it would be 'Godmodding' which I was informed possibly incorrectly is controlling someone elses character.
I sometimes dream of RP's where everyone is ridiculously powerful and the 4th wall is treated like it doesn't exist presuming that we have a pretty tight 4th wall. We do don't we?

In here we do. It's a literate RPG. And you're wrong about the definition on godmoding. Controlling someone else's character is Puppeteering. Godmoding is when your character is invincible and all-mighty - it comes from the term "god mode" on video games, when you get infinite lives, invincibility, etc.
Most of the times, godmoding is when you miraculously dodge every attack, and deflect every blow. But it also refers to when you describe how your actions affect another character - like saying that your blade just chopped his/her arm off - also called auto-hitting.
But Godmod can also refer to a perfect character. Perfect equipment, status, and skills, and an unlimited power. Like having an unbreakable armor, a sword able to cut everything in half, or a character than can control celestial bodies - like you're trying to.
Basically, Godmoding is playing God. Is like being master of the RP.
Want an advice? Instead of calling asteroids, why not make your own meteors? Find a way to launch masses of rock into the air, and have gravity pull them down on your foes. That's more acceptable.

I see well that's nice to know
Seeing as I'm allowed to do that and will eventually have the resources I probably will.
Are powers that are loosely described but exceptionally powerful when you come to realise all the things they could do banned as well?

That's a nasty trick. Don't go there. Is one thing to only describe the fundamentals of your powers on you profile, and leave room for people to imagine what you can do with them. Using the above example, you could put in your profile that you can manipulate and control the movement of masses of rock, and not put there that you can use it to form meteors. That's one thing.
Another thing entirely different, is purposely leaving ambiguous descriptions in your profile, to later use them as loopholes. When you get your powers approved, be sure to explain in detail to your Captain, what you want to use them for and everything they can do. If he/she agrees, then you're on the clear.
Being honest is always the best thing to do.

There are a few bits in my profile which are specifically designed to be missing information but that it's possible to know if you looked at it carefully.
I'm presuming that goes in the only describing the fundementals.
