Ugh, WHY do they have to notify people whenever you decline friend requests. gonk Now DarkFire's going to think I have a grudge against him. I mean, I DO, but I don't want him to know about it. I thought he was alright at first but then I read through his posts and noticed he liked insulting Pro-lifers, so.

And I've seen those pictures before, too. They've shown them to me, as if we really, REALLY care what it looks like and what it's capable of.

And... the irony! They insulted us saying we did not know biology, and yet they say something has to be SENTIENT, and live up to THEIR expectations, in order to be human. gonk Even though the dictionary and my health book both say that the unborn are babies.

Hail bretheren, for I have returned. I see that they have not learned what the true meaning of debate is still. Sad sad people, really.

Its impossible to debate with peopel liek that. They arn't there to debate they are there to try and force their beliefes on you (gee...who are they accusing that of again?)

IN my first debate, I ended up in a thread with her. Every single on of her statment was full of arrogance and insults and every single one of her questions was loaded. AFter actualy trying to have a civilized debate with her, and only gettigninsults and arrogance in return, I ultimatly decided to ignore her.

Its a reason why I never debate any more. The vast majority of the pro-choicers on gaia are immature teenagers, or immature grownups. The few good pro-choice debaters, the ones that wont state their opinoins as fact, who wont throw sarcasm at you at every inturvul, who wont look down and you and will atempt to see things form your point of view are either gone form gaia, gone form debate, or have ultimatly become personly pro-life but politicly pro-choice

While I think many kids should tell their parents if they have a relationship that is able to have such a confession.

I fear for the young women who are physically abused by their parents. Young girls being raped by their father, or their step father, or whomever the man of the house is who then get pregnant... and if they tell him that she got pregnant he'll beat her. If they tell him she wants an abortion but need his consent first, he'll beat her. If they tell him she went and had an abortion without his consent, he'll beat her.

Then there are the families that would literally kick their daughter out of the house and let her fend for herself without a home, without food, and without an education at an age as young as 13 or 14 if they found out she was pregnant (abortion gotten or not) for whatever reason they may have.

It happens, and it's a terribly sad thing. While getting an abortion may not be the answer to her problem (perhaps keeping the child and finding a new place to live is the answer), the problem arises when the parents are told that 1-she is pregnant and 2-she wants an abortion and thus put her, her body, her fetus/child, and her well being in danger.

While most teenagers do not face these problems, the few that do need the protection that anonimity brings, and to outlaw all teenage abortions without some sort of way for those in serious situations to access help of some sort would be an unthinkable thing to do in my opinion.
