Kikyo smiled lightly and kissed his cheek. "Damn. You figured out my plan." She laughed lightly and tried to use her vector to get the snack from him any ways.
Kanshin smiled lightly and had waved to Akira happily before she went to watching Kikyo and Kekkaishi. "Kikyo-sempai, Kekkaishi-kun, is there any where in particular you would both like to go now?"

Tamao remained still as Hades had shifted in front of her, his face shifting like melting wax to become a new face. She hadn't known the man that soon appeared, but she had known of him. How could she not? He had been one of the Sannin, the three strongest shinobi of all. But he had died, hadn't he? Rumors of his death were greatly exaggerated, it would appear.

As he pronounced part of his scheme, and spoke of a war to come, she wondered to what purpose the others had fought and died. Had their been a purpose? Impossible to say. Drago, the Nibi, surely wouldn't. As if to prove her point, he threw a card into the air. It enlarged before exploding, it's expanded essence clouding the scene for a moment, only to reveal that Drago had vanished. She frowned behind her mask, wondering what would happen next. turning back to face the others, she clenched the hand that lay hidden beneath her cloak. Within that hand, there was a blade. She felt somewhat ashamed of lying, of telling Hades- no, Drago- that she didn't know where the Godslayer had went to. But he had deceived them first, so he could consider it payback. This blade could become very useful...




Kawari emerged from the portal and looked around. They were back in Hidden Soul, part of Hidden Federation. The battle was over, wasn't it? Apparently not, she thought, as she took notice of the stranger who had once been Hades. She was too new to the world to know the old legends, but she could feel this stranger was strong. Apparently this whole battle had been his doing, and he had further plans for them as well. Was that so? She wouldn't necessarily follow someone's orders just because they told her to, she'd wait and decide for herself. After all, she had a lot to live up to now. Hefting the mace,s he felt it's power surging through her, revitalizing diminished energy banks. In addition to it and the shield, she had also received one other valuable gift. She still held a large portion of the energy she had absorbed during the fights with the gods. Energy that pure could become something very potent indeed, if treated properly.




Hedoro stalked back into Hidden Soul, ignoring much of what was being said by the others. They were up to something, but when weren't they? Some of the energies felt very strong, strong enough to whet her appetite, but she resisted the urge for the moment. Instead, she continued stalking forward, until she found the first portal that had appeared, that had been opened to the Afterlife. She had been there once before, and hadn't thought she would ever return. But needs will out, and she had a purpose. a grim purpose, to be sure, but one she felt was necessary.

Tamao turned back to face Joachim as he spoke to her. She nodded her head in recognition of his thanks, her expression inscrutable behind her mask. "It needed to be done. Justice cannot charge in blindly, it must find the truth behind the reason for battle before it can ever lift it's blade." She banished the blade from her grip so she could lift her arms and fold them in front of her while waiting to see if there was anything else Joachim wanted to discuss.

"I cannot believe that. To charge in blindly will only endanger any who have fallen prey to evil, for you will not be aware of their presence. By rushing in without thinking, you allow injustice to control your movements and reactions, and that cannot be. Justice can save everyone. Those who act in the name of justice may not always be fortunate enough to do so, but they must do what they can, with proper discipline and forethought. Else they might endanger that which they have sworn to protect." This was true, she knew that without a doubt. If someone wanted to act in the name of justice, they had to act with proper restraint. even if it meant an innocent might become harmed, that was a casualty of the true battle. A sorrow, to be sure, but without such a determination, the one who acts as justice would find themselves being the direct cause of harm to those same innocents. and that is much worse than if injustice were the perpetrator.

"I hide my face so I don't have to see the ugly reality that is this world. And while it may be true that the winners write the history books, true justice cannot be altered by one's perception, it is simply the protection of those who cannot protect themselves, and the punishment of those who would do harm needlessly to others. That is justice, my justice." It may be true that justice did not equal good or evil, it was beyond that. Justice simply was. Justice was it's own reason, and it's own excuse. Which is precisely why sometimes, one had to let one suffer, to save money. Justice int hat case includes both good and evil, inter-meshed irrevocably.

Kanshin smiled and nodded lightly. "Alright! I like the sound of this place~! I bet it's all nice and warm~!" Plus, I have a very good feeling about going there.
Kikyo smiled and blushed lightly at Kekkaishi kissing her cheek. Normally, she would have given him a scolding look for showing affection in public, but she was just happy to be reuinted with him once again and know that he was safe. She accepted the sweets from him and started nibbling on them happily. "I don't see why not. Hmm? You found something? What is it?" Whatever it was, it was probably something that would be of great help.

"It is only by remaining distant and unattached that one can truly look upon a situation, to discover it's truth, and it's justice, or lack thereof. As for the weak, I let them find their own strength first, and only when their weakness overcomes their strength, and they meet their limits, and find those limits lacking, only then do I take my place in their stead. You are right, though, that protecting the weak too much will not let them find their own strength. That is why each person needs to take responsibility for their own actions, and find their own strength. Justice and human nature are as far apart as the heavens and the depths, human nature is by nature flawed, but true justice is flawless and immaculate. Cold and merciless, resolved and immutable. Eternal. Attaching human motives to justice is folly." She watched as he pulled his blade out, wondering if the faint tincture of evil emanated from the blade, or from elsewhere.
