Seph sighed moving closer to Itaka so the crowd wouldn't split them up "Well thats good then because I dont fancy parading myself as much as I like the dragon festival. A crowd like that could even make me self conscious and I am probably a bad public image on a big budget thing" she joked petting Chobi sensing her sudden discomfort "Maybe we should get out the way of these people a little" she suggested.

Mu paused quickly locking the door behind everyone "We have a dragon sure but he pulls his fair share too and gets the luxury of helping out the bigger demons who arent as good at transforming. It's a bit like swimming, some no matter how hard they try just get nowhere with it" she sncikered glancing in the direction of Aethys.

Alpha meanwhile chuckled "Oh yeah I heard about that one and how you tried to transform into a moogle one time and nearly got stuck halfway. Bet you won't be trying that one again anytime soon" he teased.

Aethys shrugged off the comment "Well Im better at other things and what can I say. I don't need to transform as much as a demon like you who could scare pretty much anything you laid eyes upon. Should probably work on that" he teased back.

Hebal giggled petting the demon on the ears much to his annoyance "Aww well I think it shoulds funny an kinda cute. Im sure you looked very nice somewhat transformed into a moogle. You're both fuzzy and all."

Runide made a small mewing sound not overly surprised by the view "Well of course we helped the guy, we're not heartlessafter all. He got dropped off at the nearest city after a few days travel.Your airship looks like the sun would make it really really hot inside and not just because of the colour. Though whats woth the stripes, does it make it go faster?"

Amane shook her head "I wonered that too but apparently it doesnt do anything except make the airship look a bit more attractive looking not that I thought it looked bad originally. And the airship looks so small from here and we can see for miles upon miles too and I wonder if thats a town or a city I can see over there" she pondered.

Felina hesitated about to ruffle Oassu's hair before suddenly realising it would be a bad idea without cleaning her hands "Well ok I just didnt think merchants all had great lifestyles either. I mean once upon a time you would have been too young to work afterall" she shrugged finishing off her food wishing to herself the portions weren't so small. "Well maybe when everyone is finished, why not show us a few of your dancing moves. We dont have four legs but I am sure it will be good fun trying anyway" she suggested thinking it would just be funny to see Oassu doing such an activity.

Entia raised her eyebrow nibbling away at a much slower pace than Felina was "Like I said I would be happy to show you more of our culture so request away. So Oassu yout a merchant... you sell things? Like what, what is your trade? Could it maybe useful here? We always need wool and grain" she quizzed him.

Satoshi smiled and whispered "good luck" to Gil before she swerved her way out the crows of dragons lined up. She spun round, then again, and a third time only stopping for Terrato's sake. She then weaved and dived around the nearest tree then towards the crowd then finally stopped in the middle waiting for Gil to join her as part of the dance.

Oassu shrugged "Yeah but wasn't so bad there as a kid though" he said dismissively chewing some more food and swallowing down "Well sorry I can't really trade right now, I've sort of put business on hold while I sort some other matters out with Felina" he said apologetically "Besides I'm not really in Yithra long enough to arrange anything anyway, we're just stopping by for the dragon festival" he said.

Gil paused slightly longer than he should of as he realised Satoshi was waiting for him before starting with a roar before mimicing Satoshi's dance except using an alternate route to the middle where Satoshi was "I thought we were going individually" he whispered quietly to Satoshi before roaring once more and twirling around Satoshi.

Itaka chuckled "Well you could always hover, that is a benefit of a gold chocobo, Annabell is exceptionally good with people though" he said nodding to a moogle and a small winged demon opting to fly along conversing instead of walk as Annabell sauntered quite happily through the crowd "I think you were spoiled in Kunec, all those streets and a city built for fliers" he chuckled.

Jeckhart frowned "Why would you want to transform into a moogle anyway?" he asked a little confused "Most demons only make one additional form for this world as further ones are more difficult, or do you not have a common form in this world yet?" he asked Aethys risking the sensitive subject.

Zadina shook his head "I bet it totally goes faster with that but yes I imagine that is a town or a city, demons or not no one could really survive well in the desert without a source of supplies plus most of your customers probably live there" he added.

Seph shrugged "I wouldn't go as far as to say I was spoiled. I just had more freedom to go as the city was meant to be like before they had to accomodate for nonflying people. Though Im not going to hover overhead and attract attention and besides we're either going to be indoors or watching the parade soon anyway" she answered glancing at the other demon exchanging a polite nod "Well its certainly not everday you see a demon and a moogle together"

Hebal gasped and gave Jeckhart a puzzled look "Well who wouldnt want to try being a moogle being so small and cute and tiny little wings but still able to fly. Plus I bet they can be really stealthy things" she cheerfully suggested.

Aethys hesitated his pride taking a slight beating "This is my only form. Transformation is harder than most demons make it out to be" he grumbled clearing his throat "It's a work in progress. Just very slow progress" he quickly added.

Mu smirked having expected that reaction "Well your better at other things and you never know, might get there in the end if you keep at it" she cut in being more optimistic knowing her partner wouldn't be able to stay grumpy for long.

"Nope. Only a fire demon could possibly survive in the middle of nowhere in the desert. They dont even need food if theres a good enough heat coming from the sun" Runide explained swinging on her seat "A lot of fire demons went into the desert to hide from the rest of the world when came here so theres the odd demon village tucked quietly away though nobody else can live without water like that so nobody ever visits"

Amane smiled squinting and wishing there was a telescope for a better view of the town "I guess this is the perfect spot since theres a river just on the other side of it I think.Though that sounds really mean and antisocial setting up places nowhere else can survive"

Felina nodded along "Yeah so because this is a holiday all his stock that he has at the moment is safely stored on out airship but the pilot has it for the festival so cant go back and get anything to show you either" she expalained further sensing a disappointed Entia. "Maybe next time if we bump into you again we can maybe find you a small gift or at least return the meal"

Corella yawned looking around for somewhere to give her hands a good wipe. "Yeah next time you are in the area we'll bring you some food to cook with us and maybe bt then things will be more relaxed. could always trade in the city as well if you really want to shop as we dont bite.

Entia smiled choosing not to ask about what kind of matters Oassu was discussing. "Oh theres no need. You don't need return the favour. But your city streets not centuar friendly. That goes for an city so I dont want all the discomofrt of city traders if not overly important. Plus some I think were scared of me last time.

Satoshi roared back at Gil and playfully hit his tail costume with us so to stage an attack "Nah its more fun if we go together really and its not like we're wanting to win the competition so lets at least make it a good performence" she whispered ducking and diving before giving Gil a headbutt with her soft stuffed dragon costume head.

Oassu nodded "Yeah there's some folks who don't really consider centaurs much above standard woodland creatures out there" he said finishing his small morsel "It would make sense for them to be a little unwary seeing Centaurs walking around a city" he said

Gil barely stifled a snicker enjoying the play acting as he imitated creeping up on Satoshi and coiling around her as best as he could to return the headbutt "Alright though we'll get a harsher mark but sure this is quite fun" he whispered when he had the chance.

Itaka nodded looking over at them "Like I said this town isn't so small to not have demons about though that one prefers clothes from the looks of it," he said watching as the demon gave Seph an admiring glance before moving on to the parade." he said "No reason moogles can't hang out with demons, some of you both have flying in common I guess" he said.

Jeckhart nodded "Well I suppose though a demon who turned into a moogle wouldn't naturally be able to fly they'd need to train themselves to do it" he explained to Hebal deciding to drop the transformation talk.

Zadina nodded looking back at Amane and Runide as they dropped low enough to not see anything again "Did Miss Mu teach you that? What with her dad being a fire demon an all" he asked.

Seph nodded "Now that is true but about 50% of demons would be more than happy to eat something the size of a moogle so to some its a bit like watching a cat and a mouse having a game of chess. Just not something you would expect at all. As for the clothes, not all demons are comfortable or confident enough to stand out so much. Or could just be a whole new generation who have simple been raised with it as the norm" she shrugged shaking off the snow that had began to fall on her. "Bet the kids will love the weather"

"Nah uh" Runide quickly answered playing with her tail knowing the wheel would go around at least twice more "I got told that by Awessi originally. He's good at telling stories to keep people entertained. But then I overheard Aethys and Mu talking about it one time and about how her brother spent some time there but before that I thought it was just made up before then"

Amane scratched her chin and smiled pleasently surprised the ride wasnt slowing down yet "So long as there arent any temples in those cities then we should be ok. The desert is often fatal to most furry people including viera unless theres a constant supply of water nearby. Plus I heard the sunlight makes your fur go like ten times brighter"

Mu nodded much to the disappointment of Hebal "He's right, only a mime can just transform like that and get all the skills neeed to blend in like that in an instant. But some manage to learn to fly anyway" she optimistically added gesturing for everyone to follow them to an area with seats.

Aethys smiled also wanting to steer off the transformation talk "Well you wont have any problems flying since apparently you are quite good at jumping naturally from what I have heard about you over the past few months"

Hebal gasped surprised to be mentioned "Ooh well yes I suppose but its not really the same thing and I spent years and years perfecting my jumping abilities which I am sure were harder to learn than flying. I Guess flying isn't so bad to learn,.." she trailed off looking at Jeckhart for his input.

Felina paused thinking a moment "Well I could always talk to a few people I know and see if they would be willing to be more accomodating of you in the city provided you dont cause any trouble with the locals but you seem pleasent enough." she suggested believeing it was doable.

Entia sipped a drink from her allocated flask for the day "Oh no thats ok. Elves are one of the more welcoming groups of people along with viera and demons. Provided we don't travel about in the town centers too heavily armed or in too high numbers but never been in elven city as big as Yithra. Must be like maze in there but buildings look pretty. Do you ever get lost?"

Corella nodded "Oh yes all the time but I dont get out as much as I would like to so I dont get the chance to learn all the winding streets. But I dont think theres any mean areas in the city"

Satoshi shrugged under her costume "Well if we are marked down I dont care because this is way more fun and memorable than all the other acts so far put together" she whispered continuing their playfighting by trying to spiral away from the headbutt then bashed her tail against his costume.

Oassu frowned almost about to argue that he seriously doubted Viera and Demons were welcoming "There's mean areas in every city Corella, though I imagine your escorts would never let you anywhere near those areas of the city." he said.

Gil chuckled wiggling after Satoshi until they were out of the judging area with a small applause for their performance "Well sure it seemed fun enough though perhaps a little planning next time if that's the sort of thing you want to win" he said.relaxing slightly knowing they weren't be judged anymore.

Itaka chuckled "Well not all kids love snow but yeah they will probably have fun" he said spreading out as they arrived on the street where the parade would take place moving out of the road where there was more space "Why don't you like clothes anyway?" he asked.

Zadina smiled "We'll find a way to get to a temple if there is one in the desert though I think it would be cool to see super light fur, you'd basically be glowing" he said.

Jeckhart grimaced "Flying is....very difficult to learn but the difficulty can vary between species, it's extremly scary the first time" he said shortly not really wanting to linger on the topic.

Seph cleared her throat slightly surprised at the question "Well there are lots of reasons.... but I guess theres one or two more important than others. Like clothes are incredibly restrictive. But also... letting myself be seen all out is kind of a way of showing that I have accepted what I am. More demon than human and I see no shame or reason to hide it" she shrugged putting her hand on Itaka. "I didnt always not wear clothes you know. Wasnt until the demon world when i got rid of them along with my old identity" she quietly added.

Amane snickered glancing down at her own arm and leg fur "My fur wont glow hehe as cool as that would be. It would probably turn mums sort of blondy colour cause my fur colour is a mix of both my parents and apparently my dad had dark brown fur" she disagreed.

Runide mewed quietly to herself in thought "I dont think there would be a temple in any demon settlement since the summons arent a demon thing. But I think your fur looks nice as is and already kind of glows in its own way. Got a nice finish that would take ages for any of my kind to do with grooming" she complimented her.

Aethys tilted his head his ear as a result flopping over his shoulder "A fellow demon in human form then? That makes sense for apparently the fear of falling is one of the few things that everyone fears regardless of species" he concluded the subject giving Jeckhart a sympathetic look guessing that he wasnt the only one to have a sore subject.

Mu nodded sliding into one of the few seats that looked out into the outfoor training area already full of various demons practicing out a few tricks at a safe distance away from the happily sleeping dragon. "Theres not many people here with a fear of falling now, if it happens we just bounce back up and keep performing or rest a few days first"

Alpha grunted squeezing into the seat clearly not intended for a demon of his size "Nah flying is overrated and a lot of work in my opinion. That form is one I really dont like using unless really backed into a corner and/or am in need of a fast getaway" he complained trying not to snicker at Hebal's ooh and ahh noises from watching the performers behind him "Umm is it really wise to let her play with that" he whispered to Mu but only receiving a shrug back taking it as a yes while Hebal attempted to cycle around them on an unoccupied unicycle.

Felina gave Oassu a small nudge having spotted his frown "Oh theres the off shifty looking area I know. Mostly because of all the fights Elithana got into because she would delibereately go to those areas in order to "smite" all the people there who do bad things. That was when she was about Corella's age now. Probably would have been in law enforcement by now if wasnt a royal"

Corella paused "Well I barely ever get to go into the city but when I do everyone is so nice and welcoming to me and certainlu not mean. Demons I could never picture being all that welcoming but then again you seem to have nice enough demon friens Felina andI'll bet viera would love the chance to chat to other nature lovers" she preicted completely naive about the world.

Entia yawned getting up from the snow feeling the need to stretch her legs out now "Oh yes demons not naturally friendly and lack social skills but even they need trade and money and lots of traders too scared to go near them or think their stuff must be cursed" she explained unaware this view was somewhat outdated in most areas.

Satoshi smiled joining the slow moving crowd of dragons making their way across the final stretch of the parade "See now that wasnt too bad was it? Probably havent won any prizes for that performence but theres always best costume if not the grand prize but regardless I had fun having a bit of a mock fight with you"

Oassu paused "I wonder if Zadina's brother joined her for those little ventures I think Zadina mentioned they got on pretty well as kids" he said wrapping his arms around himself for extra warmth "Yeah Law Enforcement would probably suit her fine but I think she's ok with her alternative since she's starting to get more freedom." he said.

Gil nodded shuffling after Satoshi and playfully hitting her with his tail "Certainly it was fun, wouldn't mind a little wrestle with you later out of costume" he joked quietly as he shuffled ahead of Satoshi "Do you normally participate in the parade?" he asked.

Itaka raised an eyebrow "Dark stuff? Don't need to tell me if you don't want to" he muttered sensing some discomfort in Seph "Well I'm not complaining your body looks fantastic anyway, some would say you are gifted with a 'less' demonish form" he chuckled reaching out to pet Seph's wings.

Zadina nodded "Yes Amane's fur looks very very pretty I just think it would be interesting to see how bright it could get still perhaps we'll find out once you get out of that shady forest for your pilgrimage" he said hanging on as the big wheel jolted to a start again after some more passengers got on "Well Tricasia is a sunny area, very warm and big sandy beaches so plenty of water so perhaps you could go there if you ever wanted to lighten your fur" he said

Jeckhart gave Hebal a slightly worried look as she staggered around them on a unicycle "Be careful please Hebal, these devices probably require a lot of training to use" he said having never used so much as a bicycle before as he sat down beside Alpha to watch the performers "I'm surprised to see so many people training on the day of the Dragon's Festival, even with a show later on today" he said.

Seph nodded flying off Chobi's back and landing on the back of Anabelle "I would say so as well. I am still reasonably human looking with all the good perks you could get from being a half breed like wings and a tail. The only downsides are my claws get in the way. Something you should know all about and purple not being my favourite colour. She joked rejoining the confused Chobi. "But general opinion is that I am not enough human or demon to be overall seen as that interesting by both species"

Hebal meanwhile was too busy cheering and clapping her hands happily to even notice Jeckhart was trying to warn her much to the amusement of Aethys "Seems like we have a natural performer. Pity she's not a demon for we always need the odd extra clown here and there. Clawning is not exactly popular in any demon culture for sure" he snickered knowing how much people in the demon world would hate their acts.

Mu hesitated quickly kicking out the way a cone that Hebal was almost at risk of hitting "Well its not a demon holiday for starters and then most of them dont have family visiting or any family who celebrate the day either. Which makes it just a normal day to most of these guys with more pressure to put on a big show" she explained.

Amane blushed not used to such positive attention regarding her fur "Umm Thanks guys" she told them feeling slightly uncomfortable when Runide playfully giving her a lick. "I think mum told me about Tricasia in one of her letters. Said it was warm and sandy and where people went to relax"

Runide nodded "Yep that sums Tricasia up well. ButI don't like that place because its too hot and I was all icky and sweaty and had to spend a whole day molting just to get by in the heat. It's probably the only place in the world where I would rather be in the water all day.

Felina laughed quietly and nodded "Oh yes the pair of them made a right funny pair. If it weren't for their fancy clothes they would have probably looked like a couple of vigilantes. But more freedom or notI don't think she's going to change her behaviours all that much. Always been one with a strong sense of justice. Meaning you better be on double your best best behaviour should you be somewhere with her nearby" she added in a whisper to Oassu.

Entia scratched her head "Your older sister is next in line to be your chief yes? It is good your future leader has that kind of quality. But has everyone finished eating. I'll show you more around place. Can't let your friends have all the fun" she added indicating to Hayate being pestered by another centuar trying to get him to join in with their dancing"

Corella snickered "Oh man he would hae dancing lets just leave him there to squirm a little unlike Nares" she quietly snickered seeing that she wwas already kicking away with them in high enough spirits.

Satoshi gave Gil a nod followed by a wink "Sounds like a good plan, look forward to it" she replied giving him an affectionate headbutt."So if you were one of the judges how would you rate my performence. I think you started shaky but ended up good after a little prompting" she continued teasing before letting out a roar.

Oassu nodded "I'm always on my best behaviour around your family dear" he said giving Felina a little kiss before looking over at Hayate and Nares "Oh it seems they've finished their business" he said snickering as he spotted Nares with Nal somewhat dancing along beside her.

Gil nodded returning the headbutt "Well your performance is always fantastic" he said watching as some dragons moved out of the queue and removed their costumes to relax and get some air having sucessfully been judged already "Least we have some more space now, why not go up and see if that is Hitomi ahead of us in the big costume" he suggested.

Itaka smiled glad to have Seph's warmth against him for a brief second "Well you are interesting enough to me, and I really hope you are joking about that purple thing," he said pausing and settling down in one spot seeing how the parade was going to begin.

Jeckhart nodded "I'm sure there's no reason you couldn't include Hebal in your act even if she's not a demon provided she had enough talent" he said relaxing somewhat seeing Hebal had the hang of cycling "Well maybe so but some demons celebrate it, though I'm not sure why other demons don't like clowns. I don't see anything innately wrong with them" he said quietly worried he was an odd one out.

Zadina tilted his head slightly uncertain whether he should say something about Runide's odd behaviour before putting it from his mind "Well they have swimming pools everywhere there so you could do that if you wanted." he said "Though your mother seemed to enjoy herself well enough Amane so it might not be so bad" he said not wanting to put Amane off going there.
