@Seryn: I did a bachelor degree in Psychology (Clinical, not empiric) with a concentration in mental disorder, with a minor in Philosophy and a minor in Religious Science/Studies (whatever they are called in your area). Am now doing my Master in Rel.Sciences.
Also, there's a difference between being fired and being laid-off. Being fired means you sucked at your job and your employment was terminated, while being laid-of means that there isn't any more work for you to do. In other words, it's better to be "laid off" than to be "fired"
edit: You should post as crimson at the T-H when you have amoment :O

@Lone -- Hey~ ;D
Aside from my mom and I, my family's pretty good at math. And I hate being bad at it, while it comes so easily to everybody else. >_>
Though I can pretty much beat anybody on my dad's side in spanish, 'cause they're all american! C=<

Well, I'm kind of American, too... but, you know, half. xD
My dad's family is just All-American, so they don't find a need to learn spanish. He knows a bit, but not much. It's funny to watch him stumble over his words, and then having to correct him. C;

I don't like when people don't find the need to learn another language. I call that being lazy D<

Well yeah, either way you get without a job, but, (in Canada at least) you get compensation for being laid off, but not from being fired. Also, some employer will frown upon someone being fired but not being laid of.
End Goal? I don't really have any. I just do what I like lol. Well, I'm going to a Doctorate degree (Ph.D.) that much I know. Maybe a Post-Doc after, but errr.... really not sure about that. We'll see. Odds are that whatever I do I'm going to be teaching in a university at one point or an other. Especially since one of my professor is pushing me in that direction to take her place when she retires, which should be around the time I'm done with my studies.

There's nothing wrong with it, it was Lone who implied it! I was just saying how my Father's family should learn spanish, or at least, he does. Seeing as his children are half-latinos. =0
It's really cute when he stumbles over the words and then he's like, "Did I say that right?" xD

Well, when I was in high school applying for University, I wasn't really informed on the what different degrees I could take. Well, it was like "Science, Math, pre-med, accounting, history, literature, philosophy or Psychology." So I took the one that seemed more fun, Psychology.
Then 2 years after that I realized I hated it. So I switched from my Specialization in psych to Major in psych with minor in religious science, which I had taken 2 classes already as options and I was loving it. Then I finished the psych part, but not the rel part, so to stop me from going from Full Time student to part time,I took a minor in philosophy because hald the classes in Rel.Sc. were credited for it.
