"You don't understand though... I..." Carlos begun, trying to force the words out but unable. Unrealising, Carlos shed a tear and allowed it to roll down to his cheek before wiping it away. "It's nothing... ancient history. Needless to say though, thats precious to me. I wouldn't see that weapon come to harm, nomatter the cost."
Carlos got up from his seat and stretched, trying to remove his mind from it.

"You don't understand... but I don't blame you either. It's not the same." Carlos said, shaking his head exasperated. "But what happened, happened. I couldn't stop it, but it's my fault in the end. I don't deserve the weapon, but I keep it to honour him. You deserve your music, and have someone to share it with, it's just the opposite for me." Carlos sat himself back down in the chair, glumly, wanting to change topic.

"Whatever you'd prefer. I didn't come to moan about myself, even if I did end up doing so." Carlos muttered, still thinking of it. "Sorry..."
Carlos sniffed at the air for something to do, some scent that might take his mind away from the past and bring him right back to the present, and looked around the room for any sight of interest.

"I guess I'm fine with whatever. I'm not overly picky on activity. It's still quite early so perhaps it shouldn't be something so overly loud, unless you have a room for that kind of thing?" Carlos said, trying to make peace and think of an activity. "But whatever you choose to do, I'm game." 'So long nobody calls me a dog.' He thought to himself, remembering last night.

"Sure. Sounds better than a world supply of books anyways." Carlos stated, getting back up from his chair so that he could follow Aurora. "Perhaps you can show me your markings too, so I can figure out how to get around without going in circles."

Before leaving to follow, Carlos picked up his sword and carefully seathed it in the correct place at his back. Moving while doing this would leave him with more than a small cut. It wasn't long before he caught up to Aurora, just as she begun to show her marks.
"I see. So it looks like it's a part of the brick. I'll overlook it probably then, shame." He said in reply, rejoining the conversation. "So, what do you want to do then?" He asked, curiously looking around the room. "I doubt you enjoy chess at all." He chuckled to himself as he waited to be let into the room.

"My my, you make it sound like you were bullied or something." Carlos said, chuckling once more as he entered the room. "But so long as you fought for a cause you believed in, you shouldn't be condemned by actions, eh?"
