Carlos blinked multiple times after the flash, thanking the fact he hadn't been born epileptic, then gave Aurora a small smile.
"Perhaps they would, but nobody around here could help me even if they and I wanted them to. It's too complex and dangerous anyways." Carlos mentioned quietly, half hoping he would be quiet enough to be missed.

Carlos sat there a moment silently, weighing his options. He could either tell her what and why, or he can try and change topic. It was unusual for him to even consider the first option, but he didn't want to seem, or feel rude. Or perhaps another reason he wouldn't admit? Carlos shook his head and dismissed the thought. It's just playful banter in the end.
"So, tell me, how come you can create fire from nothing?" Carlos asked inquisitively, turning to face Aurora more definely.

aurora was thinking at the time when he was talking "huh.. Oh sorry.. well the air is a good way to say... you see fire need air to burn thats how i can create it, i just need to think the hot and burn to feel the fire inside me and then just let the fire out" she grined and making another ball of fire in her hand

"Heh, you make it sound so easy." Carlos joked. "If it's so simple why not teach me so I'm special too?" He chuckled as he finished, but thought about the bonuses that it might have being able to actually generate fire. Of course, there was no way he'd actually ever be able to, but it was something to talk about at least.

aurora laughed a bit "well really my real dad helped me to create the fire but all my family dead.. thats why shadow my dad now... cuz reminds me of my old dad but i can try to help you to create fire" she said as she got up streching her arms

"Heh, I was joking anyways, I wouldn't be able to create fire out of nothing." Carlos replied, playfully sticking out his tounge but quickly retracting it in fear of it being burnt up. "Still, if you can do that, I'd hate to find out what other people around here could do."
Carlos took a moment of silence to think of another topic to switch to. "So, I guess people around here swordplay for fun?" He asked without contemplating it. How would he know? It was too late now he asked though.

"sword play hum.. yeah but we need to train our best .... you need to be ready for anything that might come up you never know what going to happen but yeah sometimes we do sword play for fun" she said woundering whats going on in carlos mind why changed topic everytime but she didnt mind somthing to keep going the talking

"I doubt the world is going to end if the guys around here don't know how to use a sword though" Carlos mentioned, half joking. " Or perhaps it's just another thing I don't know much about. I don't really get this place too much. All I know is, I'll probably be here awhile, unless someone asks me to leave." Carlos fidgeted on his seat and stretched his legs. "Still, it's your choices to practice it. I used to, but I guess I just couldn't be bothered with the nicks I kept getting from it."

Carlos let out a laugh, but conceded to take her advice on retraining.

"Still, don't expect any fancy sword-swishes from me. I don't do rediculous fighting." He said, to continue the conversation. He reached under his cloak and drew his shortsword. It was a plain blade, with a perfectly balanced hilt, intricately designed with patterns of dragons fighting amongst themselves, each having ruby eyes. "This is my weapon of choice, if I indeed choose a weapon. Feel free to try it if you want." Carlos put the blade on the table, handing the hilt off the side for Aurora to pick up.

aurora pick it sword up looking the new shine on the blade "its very nice sword its been very cared for" she said just swining the round " and very easy to swing it about" she said to him amazed of the sword

"Yeah. It's the only one I've ever had. One of my pack brothers gave it to me for my birthday, long ago. I've never actually fought with it, only practiced, but I'll never forget what he said to me, and that's why I keep it, and care for it." Carlos stated, staring down sadly to the floor, remanising on the past.
