Why? They aren't meant to be surprising characters. Snake was in the first preview of Brawl, and everyone knew Sonic was in from the start.

I want them to put on a few stages from the first game, such as Hyrule Castle and the unlockable Mushroom Kingdom. That would be awesome xd

Starting Roster is 23. No new characters are mentioned, so this 23 is everyone on the Dojo, including Sheik and Zero Suit Samus.

The game has already gone gold. There are no more bugs that are going to be fixed. This delay was because they didn't have enough copies of the game. In Japan, there were more pre-orders than Wiis.

Holy crap.
That came out of left field. Playable demos of the games that each character came from? It almost seems unneeded. It almost seems like the disc won't be able to contain everything.

Teh AK You make it sound like this is a bad thing. o_O It isn't, but just... Wow. I hope this means that they filled the original game with as much as they could, and then just threw this in as extras. It's a devious marketing ploy, though..
