"Yeah... it's big." Carlos stuttered, hiding any sign of jumping he may have shown. 'When did she get here?' He thought to himself, recognising her voice as one of the two people he'd introduced himself to. "Don't mind me, just exploring while I'm not lost... or losing myself exploring, whichever way you prefer to look at it."

[I'm back. Sometimes I hate sundays, they pull me away from fun whee ]
"Hmm, perhaps you could show me your marks sometime. It'd probably help immensely." Carlos asked curtiously, pulling a chair next to her and sitting down. It made him feel more comfortable to sit near someone he knew...kinda. "But pyrokenesis? I'd never have thought a vampire would have that, let alone there be a book about it."

"Heh, thats a neat trick. Now your making me feal unspecial, I can't do anything like that." Carlos joked. 'Wish I could though... I could avenge my pack.' He thought to himself. "But I spy with my eye that something is on your mind. Normal people wouldn't be up yet, so what's up and can I help you with it?"

"Would you like to discuss it? Most of the time the easiest way to remove ourselves from problems is to face them, but it doesn't mean we need face them alone." Carlos said, with a wisp of loyalty forming, wanting to help the woman who had already helped him. "Of course, I'll not pressurise you to, but I would like to help anyway I could. Being fifth wheel will get old fast."

Carlos sat there listening, taking in the information being provided and interpreting it into different ways that it could happen.
"Perhaps he is still alive. Twins have always had a remarkable ability of knowing when each-other is in pain, or instinctively knowing what they're thinking. Perhaps he is reaching out to you as best he can, by dreams. Can you remember anything in your dream that was familiar to you? Like, where he was?" Carlos asked softly, attempting to help without hurting her emotionally.

'Ugh, Backfired once again. I'll never get used to this' Carlos thought, sweating around his collar slightly.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you." He quickly replied. "I guess I just don't know enough around here to fully understand whats going on. But if there is one thing I know, you have a family here who will protect you no matter what. Even if he does still live, he'd have to go through hell to get near you."
'We all have our share of problems." Carlos mentioned to himself, reembering his own. 'Some we can deal with, some we just can't." Instinctively, he clenched his fist in fruitless anger at his own memories, and his recent mishaps.

Carlos forced out a chuckle for curtosy, but found it hard to actually laugh. If talking helped then at least he was doing something right, but it could never balance out what he had done wrong.
"I guess we all have our problems." He replied melancholy, making no effort to hide himself. "But nothings perfect, nothing ever will be I guess."
