Caelorum Thanks, Toast. I'm gonna take a look at your character now. Heh. Yeah, I'm Ryon and Altar in Commerce. I look forward to those tought fights, too. Bring on the pain then, man. I'm totaly amped to meet up with all the really strong players out there, especially the people who frequent the OOC. I really wanna' connect with the people I'll be fighting, to make things more interesting. In fact, the major reason I don't wanna' lose, is because I'll have to pack it in, and become a spectator. And it's no fun being a spectator.

Remember, a normal girl like Tru jammed a knife into Mooo, and that messed him up more than anything else she did--even the wacky fire-elemental bullet. So yes, I WILL have to be careful. 3nodding

Anonymooo Remember, a normal girl like Tru jammed a knife into Mooo, and that messed him up more than anything else she did--even the wacky fire-elemental bullet. So yes, I WILL have to be careful. 3nodding It just goes to show, the smallest item tends to be way more useful than those huge explosion attacks. In fact, for my first fight, I packed a bag of sand and some rope.

Haha, I agree. I might actually start posting as a spectator in threads, too. If I lost entirely, all characters out of the tourney, I'll probably stick around anyway. I'm fond of this place now, even despite the outrageous arguments that can occur here in OOC. I hope you and I get a match, too, Toast. Much better with someone you've actually spoken to a little than a complete stranger.
Now that I think about, it'd be cool to introduce a brief fight summary or fighter bio for the tourney only of the fighters who advance beyond, say, Round 2. Kinda like building a rep. But that can also occur in OOC. Now I see this Brahm must be something to look out for.

I propose we suspend the tournament after round three for a few days, just to hold a party for the combatants still left. I think it'd be better to give people a chance to meet the players we've been watching. I really think that it's more fun if we actually know some of the people that we'll be battling.

I dunno, Dres. I think he just wants a little more respect, but it still looks stupid for him to pull a move like that. I think you have a reasonable argument in your counter-post, but I'm no almighty "psionics" user.

@Toast: Yeah, that sounds like a cool idea, too. I know Clash wants to finish up before the summer ends, but a few days break sounds cool, especially to get the Round 3 for each Bracket lined up.

Hm... Seems like he's being way too vague on the attack in general. Then again, I've never liked psionics at all, I find them to be flimsy and way too complicated, and I'm also a big specifics players.
However, I've never actually used psionics before, but I would assume that they go under the code of magicks, and thus I feel they should all take a post for casting time. But then again, I'm also not a big fan of magicks either.
It looks like you've got some wiggle-room, but don't squirm too much.

Hell, ALL the matches are gonna be tough, Toast. xd (Unless one of us fights Ertai, and then it'll just be frustrating, but that's a different matter entirely.) I wanna look at your match, Ikibe--a clash of the hard-punchers is something I always get a kick out of. One of my main targets in the tourney is Kaminosai's Brahm Dragos. 3nodding If Dreslin ever stops speedhacking and doesn't drop like a stone you may get to see it. =/

I just think that it's pointless to have an entire guild for something like this, if we'll only be using it for battles. Plus, it's a tournament, not a golf match. Especially when you're dealing with roleplay, where human drama and excitement only makes the action sweeter.

Here's an example of me doing what Cole just did:
"Mooo saw Curse standing two feet away from him, reading a magazine. Mooo knew that Curse was a strong opponent, and that he would have to get the jump on him if he were to have any REAL advantage in a fight. At that moment, the muscles of his hip and shoulder propelled his fist through the magazine into Curse's face, destroying years' worth of good dental hygiene."
It's an autohit, in my book.
1- Poorly described. "Tons of psychic force surround Goku's head and press inwards." You did a pretty decent return to his post, Dres.
2- NO ******** OOC IN A TOURNAMENT THREAD. xd
5- Yeah, autohit. If Cole-dude is on now, I should suggest he get in here to defend himself, if he so desires.
