Hay guys, let's not bash/promote religion here in the future. It's an ugly subject that makes friends turn against one another. I, for one, will keep my beliefs or lack there of out of this. -Van

Yes Van, I agree with you. Religion (and politics for that matter) is a touchy subject. Of course with that aside, I choose to stay out of this one *takes an observer's stance*

B-but...First amendment... gonk Legal analyst says: Actually, the first ammendment prevents congress and local/state governments from passing and enforcing laws that would infringe on free speech. Van is not congress and this guild is legally his private property, so any rules of laws he makes restricting speech are not in violation of the first amendment, since that only covers the public domain and people still get the final ruling over private property.
And even if it was public, speech that could cause a disturbance could be ruled obscenity, and obscene speech is not covered under the first ammendment either. Ergo, there is nothing wrong with Van wanting to limit speaking about religion legally.Y-Yeah, but...First amendment... gonk Legal analyst says: ......*sigh*... rolleyes

What? You've never had an hour long conversation with yourself, debating the moral complexities of human society at work? eek Some of the most interesting conversations I've ever had were with myself. I always know what to talk to me about without boring myself to death... granted thats happened a few times but not often. 3nodding And no, I don't suffer from multiple personality disorder. xp (and neither do I!)

I am kinda of applauding Akira right now. He is a ballsy ninja. I'm also hoping he doesn't get killed. Cause uh..I doubt Tatsuya is going to stop until said ninja is dead. x]

It just shows how spineless Akira is really... "I can't beat you by normal means so I'm going to trash talk your family!"

As a note, I don't legally own this. I believe this all falls under Gaia's jurisdiction. This is not "private property".
However I DO have discretionary power over who can be a member of this guild. And this is the wild west of the internet- US Law doesn't always apply. biggrin

Spineless? It's called a strategy.
Tatsuya showed a weakness and Akira decided to use it to his advantage.
What would be the better option, "I can't beat you so I'm going to fight you head up and lose?"

Well, they're ninja, not samurai. Honor isn't all that important. Ninjas are originally supposed to be assassins after all.
Plus, the fact that Akira is using 'dirty tricks' against Tatsuya means that he respects Tatsuya as a ninja not to try to hold back against him and to use every means to defeat him. Its also admitting though he is 5 years older, Akira sees Tatsuya as his better in this fight.
So in a sense, you should be honored that Akira has been forced into dishonorable tactics. 3nodding
