Richard Sr. fumes! "You have no idea what you're talking about."
Edan grins. "Of course I do." He turns his attention to Byron. "And you aren't getting the lamp until we see Richard."
Byron shrugs lightly. "He isn't exactly mobile at this particular time and Lindsey can't carry him on his own. Oh!" He turns to smirk at Richard Sr. "You can help get him."

Richard Sr. pales, glares, and gets up to go get Richard.
Edan twiddles his thumbs.

Richard Sr. returns with Lindsey. They are carrying an unconscious Richard. He is dumped unceremoniously on the ground. Various symbols are carved into his right arm.

Edan looks at the runes then at Byron. "If I stay you forfeit all claim to him."

Byron shrugs. "That is fine. But only so long as you remain willingly. No rescue attempts. No escape attempts. No uncooperative scenes."
Edan nods. "Agreed." He stands and kneels beside Richard, checking vital signs. "I believe I can revive him. He'll be groggy though." He looks at Rufus. "Can you get back with him?"

Rufus gives Richard Sr an ugly look. Then he has a thought and looks at Stephen.

Stephen looks exhausted. He is holding a gun in one hand, the other unusable as it's wrapped up and tied to his chest. He watches all of this with an uneasy, tired expression.
Edan needs a moment.
