The XBox power button for both the original and the 360, as well as the individual controllers, have the iconic symbol of a circle divided into four quadrants. Each quadrant, after initial booting up, lights green in corrospondence to the controllers that are connected. However, if there is something internally wrong with the system, these quadrants light red in different ways to tell you what the problem could be. A certain combination of these is the "Red Ring of Death". Which mean "Bye-bye, Xbox, you're going back to the factory.
I turned it on earlier, and it's okay now.
The Wii talks to you somewhat, the light turns blue when it is connected to a wi-fi connection, yet on stand-by mode, to tell you that it is receiving updates from Nintendo. Alas, I do not have wireless at the moment, and it saddens me that I cannot show my skills in Super Smash Bros. Brawl nor my 1337 pokimanz in Pokemon Battle Revolution. emo

I never had the SNES or N64 die or show signs of death though. surprised

Game systems start adding up. $.$; But something
that's newer, faster, and all- around better will be
released and you'll thank your lucky stars that you
waited, for just a -little- longer.
With this in- mind, I'm the proud owner of an NES,
GBA SP, as well as a PS2 and I love all of them this
much. *opens her arms really wide* And, eventu-
ally, my li'l family will grow even more.
