The fight against Tru kicked so much a**, I swear. She's good at what she does. xd So Cael, I will have to hope that Mooo lands that lucky punch on Curse that allows him to follow up. xd *reads Ippo vs. Saeki again*

We need a thread specifically for character development stuff..
If Clash isn't on; anyone think he'd get pissed if one was made? xD

I doubt he'd get pissed. You could send the PM about it right before and make it, let him close it if he's not up for it.
@Mooo: Yeah, that fight was a great read. She was really good. Both of you. Very entertaining, and just the kind of fight I imagined in signing up for this tourney.

Caelorum Hey, Mooo. About how much force do you have Mooo generating per a full-contact, strong punch? Do you have it pegged down? Basically, how hard can he hit in pounds of pressure with his best punch?
And what does he like to throw? Mooo cheats. He IS metahuman, he IS able to do a lot of crazy crap utilizing his chi--his common trick is to course chi through his cardiovascular system to increase his stamina to superhuman levels. But being metahuman also means that his strength is ridiculous--and I do mean that. He's been able to punch a 600-pound furry THROUGH the length of a car, he's able to kick an industrial dumptruck so hard it flips into the air (and lands on him xd ). I have honestly not done any calculations on just how strong that makes Mooo, but roughly speaking, getting hit by him is about equal to an eighteen-wheeler going about 85-90mph compressed into the space of his fist. That's if he's using about 50-65% of his total strength. Full release, 100% unleashed (Final Evolution: Conquest Trigger), though? I have honestly never RP'd either of Mooo's Evolutions, as I've never had to RP against an opponent who would force Mooo to use that kind of destructive power, since Mooo's a nice guy (sorta) who would rather NOT completely obliterate whoever he's fighting. xp As for Mooo's punches--well, Mooo's sorta sloppy in that he likes big, overhand rights. He likes the weight behind those kind of punches, but in a pinch, he uses his brain and tightens them up to driving straights. 3nodding Edit: And thank you. That match WAS a lot of fun to go through, and amazingly, all disputes were settled in a very civilized manner.

I can't see him getting mad. And if he does... What's the worst that could happen?

I will speak in Clash's stead and abuse my mod authority and say "go ahead and start said thread." But make sure that it stays on-topic. 3nodding

Wow, that's actually pretty damn cool. I play a boxer character myself named Sakajima, although he doesn't have anything to make him more than a human. In actuality, he has nothing special at all about him. But then again, I always liked playing the normal characters, who have to survive against the giant monsters without the "sword of power" or "super-chi attack".
He uses a lot of Dempsey Rolls, and such. And yeah, Hajime No Ippo is amazing.

Yeah, Moo's cool. Daaang, son. He's got some hellish power. Man, I knew I was being too liberal in my measurement. I had Ryon, my strong character, pegged at five times his body weight for the tourney, roughly half a ton of force that he can push or lift. If he meets Moo (he's in Commerce), I'm pushing that back up.
He definitely does not have the body for it, so he's the real cheater here. It's pretty much all in his ki, or Aether. All Guardians like him can use Aether for amazing strength like Curse can use his for amazing speed. Ryon has the body of a fifteen-year-old male, lanky and all except minus the acne.
I think Ryon and Curse at full might barely stand a chance of pushing him to his limit. Prolly not from how I rp. XD Altar might, too. And I think he might be able to get Mooo in that mood, because he's solely out to kill. But his backstory would really make someone feel so sad for him. I hope Altar makes it far.
Edit: Overhand right, eh? Yeah, I like to stick to the jab, being a southpaw. My dad got me loving a left upper, specifically a body blow, followed closely by a left hook towards the jaw or again the body.

Damnit, both of you are gonna' be tough. Round Two in Commerce is going to be something to look out for, alright. With all of the slackers weeded out, I know that there will be a ton of superplayers to look out for. I hope I don't end up paired against one of them, although it'd be fun as hell...

Okay, I take it all back. Dreslin's just a ******** idiot.
And he's in all the branches, with the exact same character 4-5 times, except they have different ******** hell.
Edit: =3 Oh and Moo? You and Ikibe are fighting, I call it. A clash of the hard-punchers!

I still say that Dreslin guy is gonna' be hellish strong. I mean, I don't approve of that method, but wow... he's good. I'm still kinda' pissed off that Ertai will be cut by time out. We had something of an argument before, and I told him I wouldn't stand for his attitude, and that I'd take him out if we met in the ring. It's a shame that I don't get to shove all that ego back where it came from.

You have "SWORD OF STABBING" and "CRAZY ATTACK OF DESPERATION," though, Toast. You don't need Sword of Power or any s**t like that. Besides, your fights will always be entertaining, and that's a big plus. 3nodding
From what I've seen of Curse, he may force Mooo into Initial Evolution: Gladius Install (which I've also never RP'd). And if Curse pushes him farther, then MAAAAYBE Final Ev, but Mooo's stamina will probably be all spent by then, forcing him back into normal mode and kicking him down to about 40-50% strength. xd

Thanks, Toast. I'm gonna take a look at your character now. Heh. Yeah, I'm Ryon and Altar in Commerce. I look forward to those tought fights, too. So far, neither of my round one opponents have shown up. I'm not even going to notify Clash in case of a time-out this time. I'm so pumped to actually use both my characters now. Especially talking here. It's just getting me more psyched.
@Ikibe: I don't particularly care for how his intros are all pretty much the same, and therefore so are the characters (guy with a robe, a staff, flatulence, and/or whatever). I'm kinda glad I'm not pitted against him.

Ikibe Edit: =3 Oh and Moo? You and Ikibe are fighting, I call it. A clash of the hard-punchers! Hell, ALL the matches are gonna be tough, Toast. xd (Unless one of us fights Ertai, and then it'll just be frustrating, but that's a different matter entirely.) I wanna look at your match, Ikibe--a clash of the hard-punchers is something I always get a kick out of. One of my main targets in the tourney is Kaminosai's Brahm Dragos. 3nodding

One hit from Mooo is gonna crush Curse, especially since you put it into perspective. Still, I'm tooling up my strategy. Hehe, be ready, sir! I need to read more matches, too. Start gettin' a feel for the competition.
