Katie that would creep me out too. I hope you can avoid him. I'm sorry I haven't been on, we had to move and I have to share the computer with my cousins.
But now they've gone, so I have a lot to catch up on!
I just noticed that we fell behind Ravenclaw in the House Points, but only 15 points behind.
Here's the thing. We get 5 points each for posting a Holiday Greeting in the Great Hall, but we get FIFTEEN points if we make a Holiday Haven Banner.
I LOVE to make banners and I have a whole bunch of neat HP Christmasy things I can use.
So if you PM me, I'll send you a Haven Banner and you can post it in the Great Hall with a Greetings and get 15 points! We're 100 points behind Gryffindor but if we get 8 Hufflepuff greetings that's 120 points!
I can only post 1 banner for myself for 15 points BUT you each can post a banner.
How about it? Can we work together like, well Hufflepuffs?
(Of course, if you are good at Banner making, you can do your own)

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Just been so busy but in a few days it's Christmas holidays for about 2 weeks so that's nice.
Now that you've brought it up Tonks, I think I'll try making a holiday banner. It doesn't matter whether it's amazing or not, we still get a good amount of points for it. Thanks for reminding me!
Not sure what else to say but I'm hoping you're all doing good biggrin

I've had my fair share of creepy guys so I wish you the best of luck Katie. As for moving out... I don't have to worry about housing because I belong to the government for the next 4 years since I joined the Marines. As for the house points, I'll do my best to help out, I don't do banners, and I don't have a whole lot of time (The reason I disappeared for a bit.) Alright yay. I am learning to like my grandmas computer. It's slow, but even on Gaia it has spell check so I can't get in trouble with the Haven for spelling errors when I'm in a hurry. Wow, that rambling just shows you how tired I am. I've got a 3 hour volunteer job but it takes 7 hours of my time thanks to transportation and it's all outside. It's been snowing like nobodies business since I got to Salt Lake and I swear Mother nature is trying to snow us in for the Holiday. I guess it's to make up for all the warm months since we didn't really get snow until Saturday. Well I'm off to unpick the backward seems on my dress so I can have it right for tonight. It's still half a Ball gown, but it works, and looks quite pretty with the shirt I have for it. I'm a little nervous to sew the tabs on it.

I don't think I have time to think up another fanfic. I think of them as I go and granted I have several that I've been working on for years but I haven't even updated those. And because I sent Sticklers thing to Stickler instead of Accio I don't think I'll get the other 10 but Accio did say I got her 5. I'll look at the fanfic. When do we have to have it entered by? I forgot.

Katie, your hat looks very holiday festive! And Lily, I don't think the fanfic will count towards this term, they aren't posted until the contest ends, and that's in January or Feb, I think. Gerp, banner making is EASY. You just click on 'edit' in your photobucket account, then 'add text' You have to play awhile to get the hang of sizing, changing color, etc. You're welcome to use either of the two banners above I posted on this page, and I owled you a third choice. I sent this to two different people, but we have just a few hours before the term ends, and the House Cup closes. We did great! I forgot. No, you can still send your other description to Accio even though you accidently sent it to Stickler! I did the same thing and he told me to send it to her and I still got my points. So hurry and do it! Also, it doesn't really matter because I think we're might have a big chance of winning! Thanks to making banners and for Tonks telling us about the hidden points, we're doing REALLY well! Hope you're all doing good even with what I'm sure is a huge Christmas rush. We already have a bunch of presents under the tree thanks to my Nana dropping off two huge bags full of big presents. And, I've already received nail polish and a nail file from my homeschooling teacher, 100 dollars from my Grandpa and Step Grandma, 35 dollars American {which is roughly 40 bucks here} from my Aunt in Texas and 25 bucks from one of my Great Uncles. So, that makes me happy already haha. Well I'm doing a duel against a Slytherin, and I can't remember but do we get points if we beat someone from another house? I know it won't be in time for the end of the year but it'll still be points. If I don't post again in time, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! I love all of you guys and I think we're all very lucky to be part of Hufflepuff! We're definitely the nicest and smartest! biggrin

I did send it to Accio and got the full 15 points. I also got the 15 for the banner thanks to Tonks, and I also got 5 points for my Patriotism/Hufflepuff spirit of stick-to-itness. So we should be alright but I don't know. It seems like Gryffindor has so many active members that are working hard, and Ravenclaw has a fair cue themselves. I guess if us Hufflepuff's work together we can make it work. Oh, and funny, LadyHealingHands thought I was part of Gryffindor for a moment there. She gave me the hat saying it went well with Gryffindor Dress Robes.
