Bakura glanced towards the doorway, where he saw Atem was standing, his arms crossed over his chest. Bakura tensed, then narrowed his eyes and slid an arm around Rei's waist, pulling her close as the pharaoh began to stride towards them. "Stay back. If you're going to 'punish' us or whatever for me getting out of the chains, you take me again, got it? Rei has nothing to do with any of this. What goes on between you and I stays there." He didn't know why, but he was feeling very protective of Rei.

"Wha?No I got you out of the chains cause you could have died!You shouldent be punished for somthing that I did to help you!" Rei frowned slightly as she gently grasped bakura.

"How sweet." Atem said, rolling his eyes slightly as he knelt in front of them. "But I just came to lead you two to where you'll be staying, if you're not going to eat."

Rei gave atem a death glare and helped bakura to his feet.She was silent,biting her tougne.

Bakura, who already was feeling humiliated for his recent helplessness, pushed Rei away. "I can stand on my own." He growled, and then felt a hand on his shoulder. Turning around violently, he grabbed Atem by his throat and pinned the pharaoh down on the table. There was a loud clatter as some of the eating wear fell to the ground, but then utter silence, save for Bakura's heavy breathing, since he really wasn't okay to be moving around like that. His and Atem's faces were mere inches apart, Atem had a startled look on his face, and Bakura looked just as angry as Rei was. "Touch me again... And I'll cut your hands off."

Rei smirked.She loved this.She would have loved to walk bakura beat the s**t out of the pharoh but he needed to relax.

Atem said something in a low voice, and Bakura let out a hiss. "You seem to be under the mistaken impression that because of what happened yesterday you have control over me. Get any thoughts like that out of your pointy little head right now." Atem, starting to loose blood to his head and oxygen, reached up and grabbed Bakura's hair, pulling cruelly on the strands he had grasped. Bakura slowly let Atem go, and Atem released him. Wincing slightly and rubbing the back of his head, Bakura looked as though he was about to kill Atem.

Rei was happy bakura was still his normal self.She walked so she was standing beside bakura and glared at atem.

Atem glared right back and then led them down the hall to a room, which was similar to Rei's. Bakura shuddered slightly upon entering, and Atem ignored it. "Now be nice or I'll have to separate you two." He said with a slight sneer.

Rei was silent her eyes looking around.She hated being here.She glared at atem "Oh shutup.."

"See, that's exactly what I mean." Atem said with a sigh, then turned towards the guard on his right, and nodded his head slightly. The guard stepped into the room and then jabbed his spear at Bakura, making the thief yelp and stumble backwards, holding his chest, where there was a small wound from the sharp point of the spear.

Rei glared but said nothing.Luckly the wound was very small.She tore off an end of her dress and pressed it to the wound making bakura hold it there.

The door closed and Bakura sighed heavily, relaxing the moment the pharaoh was out of his sight. He felt like throwing up as he remembered what had happened.

Rei couldent helpn but sigh as well,happy the pharoh was gone "You should sit down.." she told bakura.

Bakura did sit down on one of the cushions, a rather bitter look coming over his face. "Nice to see you as well."
