Violet saw the spark of light that was the electricity and manged to side step it, the pain the human felt wavering slightly before coming back in full force. Violet laughed as she saw his worst fears before the barriers had collapsed, 'The only thing you worried about was a maths exam? Really how pitiful' she tutted, her voice echoing in his mind as well. She'd been so focused on hurting the boy she only noticed the fire flying her direction when it was barely feet away from her. She jumped into the air, spreading her wings to try and glide a little. Unfortunatly the fire was moving to fast and it grazed her hip. Spinning a little of course she landed and slowly tilted her head around to stare more intently at the boy.
"Try anything like that again and the next time you see this boy his heart might not be fuctioning," she warned.
((I'll apologise now for being a rubbish villian, but someone has to do and I like this roleplay too much to not try and help keep it going lol. If anyone has any evil ways to improve i'll gladly accept them via pm smile ))

((Everyone should roleplay as a villian sometime. It helps to see the other side of things. I still need to do it myself, but I really can't wait to see how devistating my villian can be. Though it's going to be nothing compared to the infamous Violet. mrgreen ))
Dream shook his head. "They're targeting us. If you leave, then they will follow you, not try to harm the people here. But if I stay and hold off Violet, then she'd be too preoccupied with me to focus on random innocents." He glanced to Haucon. "Don't worry, I'll make it out, I've made my way out of tougher. And even if I do die... I'm still on my first life. I'll just come back as a fairy. That's my eventual destination, anyway." He thought for a moment. "Don't wait for me, though, I'll catch up to you."
With that, he sent enough magic into Kihaku to heal the next couple damages she might receive, and then let go, holding the short rod with both hands now. "I chose this life and this destiny, not any of you. It's none of your faults if something were to happen to me. Don't worry about it."

Haucon nodded to Dream. "If you're sure." he said still worried. "This way!" he shouted to the others. "We'll go as quick as we can!" he added, he looked back at Leila, Holly, Kihaku, Liam, and the cat before breaking into a run.

Liam watched with gray eyes drowning in concern. The new plan; Dream stay and fight Violet as the others escaped. Would that work? Would the other demons come and join in the fight? He couldn't bear the thought of Dream outnumbered. He took Lucky from his shoulder, staring into those big, green feline eyes. He grabbed Leila before she took off. "Take lucky with you," he said, sad eyes watching the cat as he handed him to her, "Take care of him, please," he said with one more stroke through the black fur on his back. "I've been given one more chance, with the darkness gone I can put my free-will to use. Protecting those I can consider friends," he said in his quiet voice, a certain bravery welling up in the words.

Dream nodded. "I understand. You have something you have to do as well. I won't hold you back." He paused a moment. "Though if I could make a request... don't kill any of them. I may sound crazy, but they don't deserve to die." He watched as Haucon began to lead the group away. He smiled at Liam. "You ready to do this?" He began to spin his rod in anticipation.

"I understand," he said. He could tell that Dream wouldn't want to kill, it was purely a battle for the purpose of diversion. And with a nod, Liam gripped the heavy scythe in his hands, trying to think of a smooth way to get through this. Violet would play her mind games, that was no doubt; but was there anyway to catch her off guard? And would it be too long of a shot to take?

Violet's vision was slowly returning, it was like looking through a heat wave now, shapes clearly visible but shakey with little detail. In truth she was getting bored of waiting. Raising a hand she chuckled as the man's cries grew louder and more intense. Suddenly, his face went white as a sheet and he crumpled to the floor unmoving. As she waited she began to hum, eventually singing a little,
"Mr Sandman! Bring me a Dream...make him the cutest that i've ever seen!" the song was human but did fit her purpose so she didn't really mind.

(( sorry for the shortey. Steffen's gonna try to get Lucky, Any one who doesn't have a fight can go after him or wait for him or what ever.))
" Better to go after them now than latter..." Steffen sighed and began his transformation back into the darkness he usually travel through. The light had little effect on him, the demon already used to such triffles.
"come out come out where ever you are..." He slipped inside the building, gritting his teeth a small bit as the diffrent powers pulled at him.

((Yeah, I'm telling everyone to go with the others, except for Liam, who's going to fight with me, apparently.))
Dream looked around and quickly spotted Violet in the distance. "There's Violet, Liam. Do you want me to take her while you do something else, or do you want to fight right with me?" It was tough waiting much longer, he could not stand to let her harm the innocents of the world, even if the majority of them were in fact filled with mostly evil. The miniscule amounts of good inside them still mattered.

For a moment, Haucon was tempted to stand his ground with Liam and Dream. He was having trouble shaking the feeling that he was running away from his trouble and really should be staying with them. He looked at Leila holding Lucky and shook his head a bit. He turned to Kihaku and touched her arm. "C'mon." he said. "We have to go NOW!" he added beginning to lead the way away from Dream and Liam.

"No let's go," he said firmly, spreading out his gray feathery wings in the process. He looked in the direction of Dream's gaze, spotting Violet easily. 'Looks like all three of us are ready. Well.. If it's a fight she wants, it's a fight she'll get'. Though his wings were spread, he remained on the ground; bare feet rough against the asphalt and debris. He'd stay on the ground through the fight as long as Violet did. Heavy scythe gripped in both hands he walked forward.

She hesitated as she felt Dream and Liam step forward, before slowly releasing the barrier. The magic came rushing back at her, slipping back into her body as easily as it had come. Her eyes returned to normal and she blinked back into awareness. Again she hesitated, before nodding her acceptance. It bugged her to leave the two alone, but if Dream thought it would be better to escape, then so be it. She turned and moved to follow the others. Still, something didn't feel right; what about the demons that had been with Violet?

Violet's emerald eyes sparkled as the barrier was released. In the distance she could see Dream and Liam approaching, and she drew her silver rapier from her belt. She mirrored Liam and spread out her dark, bat like wings, that way if she were to take of they'd have little warning. She tutted loudly and shook her head,
"Two against one, now thats hardly fair is it? If I was in your position right now i'd be feeling awfully guilty." she spoke softly but her words easily carried down the empty street.

Dream stood on the ground as well, spinning his rod into a defensive 'to the ready' position. "We can't feel guilty about teaming up on someone who wished to murder most of us. Tell me, what about darkness makes it so appealing to you?" Dream had always liked to understand the person he was facing before he fought, it sometimes managed to change their minds, and usually helped him prepare for the battle. "Why did you choose that life?"
