yea that would work.
well looking at our storys there are a few thing that they have in comon.
1.something involeing explosion and creating a nuclear winter
2. both regiments are tank hevy, i don't know how that really could help but i'm throwin it out there....

 well this is the Emblem I have painted on the sides and dozerblade of my Basalisk and eventually ill have it on the turret of my T-72. So its the emblem for the 1st

cool i'm working on a emblem that is a red star like yours but is backed by and imperial eagle

well see same theme a little different emblem to signify the different regiments. Ill think of a background that will encompas both our ideas

Like the Ultramarines have different trim and logos. The star could be the 'big thing', but your leader could be of Russian descent, where as Singis' is more of Imperial regality.

Well i have some names picked out for Lts and stuff
Col. Ivan Nikolevich Brekov , Lt. Mikhail Gorky , Valkerie Pilot ; Petrov Suslin Horkhot ,Tank Commander ; Vladamir Nikolevich , Tank Commander ; Grigori Ivanovich, Storm Trooper Sgt Anatoly Fyodorovich Krimov , Anti Tank Trooper Command Squad ; Grigori Rostoff , And i have more its just a pain to list them all
well im not gonna mess with what hes got going on already. Wheres cags when ya need here

As long as you don't copy historic Russian names straight into stereotypical roles, it should be okay. I'll slap you if there's a sniper named Zikan or Vasilli Zaitsev!

I am happy with my prototype Vostroyan that soon I'll be painting the entire batch in those colours. Don't expect much in the line of creativity, it's the same as GW has it. it may seem unoriginal, but I like the look set down by them for the Vostroyans.

Mat Ok before i call you dumb im gonna need to see some pics. I ve got some cool ideas for a Griffon using a Rhino but not a Basilisk It's not the best looking Bassy out there but it meets all the qulafications and my fluff for it is that it was ment as a quick fix.

ok so Singis im what do you think i about that fluff i tried to use a blend of both our ideas
the 1st is going to make it onto the table tonight im feild a Leman Russ, Basilisk, and a Armoured fist squad its going to a be a mini mega battle with abotu 12 people bringing 400 points each. Ill be able to dominate the table with long range fire from the Basilisk from the start while I let the marines take it close range with my Leman Russ Spearhaeading and my Chimera as a mobile reserve

it was cool,beter than anything i could make.
on the minimega battle i should offer you a warning i just got back from a tornimant and i came in 1win 2losses cause havey anttanks or deamn princes were thate so keep your leeman russ far out of there range...
feel free to disregard my advice,you wouldn't be the first
