Raiders seems to be a problem? Aim your rokkits at them from your tankbusta squad or get a big gunz Zzap cannon battery, Bs 3 with random strength = goodness, or better yet (An ork player without this unit should re-concider his force) lootas!

Random shots (just getting that one shot S7 Ap4 for a loota's point cost is worth it, the 2-3 shots are just bonus) and having about... 10? That's potentially 10-30 S7 shots per round! And if you whine about orky Bs I'll kick your green fungus puffballs, orks do his things, and when they do all that's left is disaster!

Firstly, you outnumber your foe, standard boyz are tougher and cheaper than Dark Panzees, you have better special characters that can help you alot (Snikrot with 10-15 kommandos, adding 2 burnas in the unit... hurr hurr).

As I mentioned lootas burnas also work perfectly against the spikey eared kin... 10 burnas say SWOOSH! You place 10 flame templates at a time, just 8 gave me over 60 hits the other day... Concider adding them, it's a good and funny unit.

Your normal shootas can take out his raiders for mork's sake! Having 20 in a mob, 40 shots, lets say 10-15 hits, and 3-6 become glancing hits, then you only need to roll 5+ to destroy it (unless it never moved and the vehicle hoovers down to the ground).

I 5 is not a problem, since... All armies have standard units with higher I than us? Hell, even Marine beakie boyz have more I when we charge (while we had equal in our last codex), only Tau and Guardsmen share the same Initiative that we have, but those poor critters can't even fight back unless the greater good or the emperor is with them.

If you used the list you posted earlier I find that it lacks orkiness in it, sure, it got speed, but it lacks what makes orkz good... Hordes of boyz! You should concider using specialist units, like lootas and burnas, if you pick burnas give them a Battle Wagon or a looted wagon, give it red paintjob, riggers and plates and wroom up close, jump out and burn the heck out of them! Works for me when I game against normal Eldars who's list is much better than their dark cousins at the moment.

And koptas with rokkits should also be more than enough as well to blow up the raiders.

Also, if your enemy use so many raiders you should ditch the trukks and use a minimum size of 20 boyz per mob... Why waste good points when the enemy is heading for you?

Anyways, once I get another box o' Boyz and a Fantasy Orc Warriors box to convert from, Lootaz and a wagon are next on my list.

So, just a note on the Orks. Anyone else excited for the new plastics, including the rumors of a plastic Stompa?

On his way, along with Zagstrukk. I can't wait for the nobz either. Those models are absolutely awesome, some of the best GW has ever produced IMO.

A guy who works at my GW has made a really good Captain Badruck, he put three 'minimized' custom blasters on it (Is that what there called?) To make Badrucks weapon, he gave the Captain a big warboss or nob body, I cant remember, a double bladed chainsword (Big saber version) and little grots carrying ammo around him.

I'll ask him this week end, if he has it on him.
