Khalid pushed away from Kira, looking around carefully, his eyes lingering on each of the Millennium Items in turn. Well, nothing seemed to be happening. Why had he been pulled here? What was his purpose? He turned back towards Kira, registering her question. "No. I never was dead. Either that, or I have just beem revived." He tensed up at a sadistic laugh, turning towards the source of it; Bakura, of course.
Ishizu darted over to Khalid and stood protectivly in front of him, glaring at Bakura. She narrowed her eyes when she saw that he had split apart from Ryou, which meant that he could see. But it also limited him to one Millennium item, if he took the ring from Ryou. She wasn't sure why she was defending Khalid like this, since he had tried to kidnap her, kill Ryou, and other things. Maybe it was just from shock at seeing him alive again, or maybe she wanted to find out more about him. Like Atem, in a way.
"What's this?" Bakura asked, glaring back at Ishizu. He crossed his arms over his chest, his gaze burning into Ishizu. "Have you forgotten when he tried to kill us, Ishizu? You allow that boy to get power, it's all going to happen over again." He shuddered at the memory of when he was in control of the body; that strange power from within.
There was a heavy sigh from Khalid, though this caused him to double over in pain from his hurt lung. He noted to himself not to take deep breaths anymore. "I apologize for my previous actions..." He said in a husky whisper, though his voice seemed to carry around the room. "I believed it was right at the time. That you weren't supposed to l--" He stopped talking, taking a few shallow breaths to calm himself. "I'm sorry." Tears stung his eyes, though Khalid was barely aware of this. He quickly noticed when a single tear fell, hitting the back of his hand. He gasped, then cringed again in pain, and quickly pushed aside his feelings, standing up straighter and gritting his teeth against the pain.

(Hey. School's starting tomorrow for me, in case you all didn't know. So I won't be on as often, like Gabbie-chan. Maybe only weekends. It depends on how things turn out.)

Kira sighed "I dont care its christmas and there will be no fighting,violence or any or yourgore in here during the day or'll i'll beat the s**t outta ya..got it?"

(Only if I can't make it on a lot... I've got a slight deal that if I get my homework done and all I can come online ever now and then. >>)
Bakura growled, but nodded at Kira's request. "I won't hesitate to attack if Khalid starts anything, understand? I won't have a repeat of what happened before..." He glared at Khalid, whose gaze remained on the ground submissivly.
Khalid looked a little puzzled. He had the general idea of this Christmas day, but it didn't truly mean anything to the Egyptain. He still nodded his head at Kira's words, and his gaze fell to the floor when Bakura glared over at him. "I wasn't planning to stay for long. This is a special day to you all, I assume, and would not like to interfere with anything. I just came here because of the pull from the Millennium Items; and to apologize for my previous actions."
Atem scowled slightly, confused as to what he should do. He still wanted to figure out what Khalid's story was, but he didn't like the young man for what he had done. Though now he was being so sincere. He truly was sorry, Atem could tell. "Where will you go? Police officers came here for questions about a dead body; yours. People will still think you're dead, and hte news might spread out of Domino."

Rei smiled as she got up in the morning.Pegasus had passed out the other night so she covered him up and let him sleep on the couch.Copy had fell asleep curled up on him.She went into the kitchen and looked for breakfast.

(Yo people. The.Peppermint PM'ed me earlier, and we talked about a bunch of stuff. Or something. Anyways, she wants to join this roleplay. I sort've talked her into it, since it's a little slow here. I'm so sorry for not being on a lot. She read some of the more recent posts and I got her caught up, so she's wanting to be Ishizu. Would that be okay, Icy?)

Khalid had to bite his lip to stop a smile from slipping out. He wasn't going to give in to these emotions. Those were what had almost gotten him killed before. Looking at Kira, he studied her for a long moment before speaking. "I cannot just forget my past and lead a 'normal life,' as you say. I am not one to be normal, of course. I shall continue to live as destiny planned..." He then looked over at Malik, nodding his head thoughtfully. "I was going to return to Egypt. It is my homeland, of course, and I do not like to be far from it. It was a struggle for me to come to Domino in the first place."

(Okay... I've never been Ishizu before. Sorry if I mess up or anything. Plus it's harder to be her in the middle of something. I thought it would've been harder to join as a made-up and try to fit in, so I'm taking my chances.)
Ishizu nodded her head, her eyes locked on Khalid's. She still couldn't get over how she believed him to be dead one moment, and here he was the next. Brushing a strand of raven hair from her face, she surveyed the room carefully before her eyes lingered on the couch. Taking Khalid's hand carefully in her own, she tugged him gently in the direction of the couch.
"Come on..." She murmured, looking deeply into Khalid's eyes again. "It's obvious that you're still hurt from what Bakura did," She glared over at Bakura for reasons unknown; she should've been all for Bakura killing him. Maybe even thanked the tomb robber. She quickly shook one thought from her mind; no way did she actually like like Khalid.
(I guess I'll steal Millennium Ring's text color... I don't want to confuze anybody if I start posting in another shade or something.)

Khalid accepted Ishizu's help, giving in to her gentle tug and sitting down on the couch. He pulled her onto it with him, catching her ankles with his foot to make her lose her balance. A warning growl came from both Bakura and Atem, who were on guard. He blocked them out, focusing all of his attention on Ishizu.
Bakura didn't like this. No, no, not one bit. He didn't want Khalid back. Khalid was the only person Bakura really feared and would admit to, though he was a little afraid of the pharaoh, only in the sense that he knew he couldn't beat him in a duel. Besides, he wouldn't ever tell that to anybody. But if Khalid started acting up, he'd be ready. Nothing would harm the carrier of his Millennium Items.
