Sethos looks to Merc with a rather forced smile, "Let's go."

He heads out of the house, forcing himself to look a helluva lot more calm than he sure felt, only allowing himself to slam the door as a sign of annoyance. After that he walks rather quickly away from there, although not really with anykind of destination in mind, and trusting to the catboy to keep up with him.

Without really realizing what he'd been doing, he winds up at the tennis courts. He doesn't have his things with him, but he just manages to rent three balls and a racket before the booth closes... not that they would usually rent something like this to someone, but they recognize him as one of the pros, and he has keys so he can return them when he's done.

The ball machine is off and away for the night, so he just goes to the practice wall and starts totally wailing the balls against the green wall.

He catches the ball on his racket instead of returning it after he's burnt out his anger and worked up a bit of a sweat in the process. He sits down on the ground, with his hand over his face, trying to figure things out. Firing your manager under a week before a tournament with no warning is not generally a good thing, especially when you don't have a new one lined up.

Nothing with the sponsers was really happening until after the tournament, so he just had to get one after like he'd been planning on it... it just puts more pressure on him to do good. He sighs and lies back onto the court, looking up at the night sky, although getting half-blinded by the court lights in the process. That's about when he notices merc sitting there, "Sorry about all that."

"Yeah, I think so. That was quite possibly the worst situation to fire a manager in ever. I'm not going to be able to get a new one before the tournament either."

Sethos blinks, "What for? It's not your fault at all. She's been driving me nuts a long time, and I was planning on firing her... and it's only because I got angry that I did it now."

"No it's not, it was her. She was one step away from telling me my life is a BUSINESS venture and fun has nothing to do with it. That sounds almost like something my dad would say..."

Sethos smiles a little and chuckles, "Thanks merc. You're a better friend than I've had in a long time."
